Abstract

This study aims to design a tool that is used as a facility for providing clean water sanitation based on the Internet of Things / (IoT). Clean water is very important for the community, in several densely populated settlements the availability of clean water is starting to be difficult to obtain, especially with the flood disaster that had hit several areas causing indications of water sources mixing with waste which could threaten public health. Based on this, through the use of sensor technology and interconnected devices, polluted water is treated by the system so that it can be regulated and monitored more efficiently. By using sensors that are interconnected to the IoT network, information about water quality, pollution levels, and other important parameters can be seen by the public or the government to monitor water quality. In addition, by using smart sensors connected to the IoT system, water use can be monitored and managed efficiently. The main components used in "Smart Sumur" include ESP32 which functions as a data processing center, Cloud server as a data storage medium from which processing can be monitored in real time. Internet of things technology (Smart Sumur) was created as a solution for providing clean water for emergency response to various natural disasters.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has increased efficiency in human activities while also escalating electricity consumption, especially with the implementing of the Industry 4.0 revolution in Indonesia. To enhance the use of renewable energy, IoT technology is employed to optimize system performance with real-time data and remote control. In the second-floor laboratory of campus c Piksi Ganesha Polytechnic, there are frequent power outages due to simultaneous use of the lab. The advantage of using this energy is that PLN electrical sources can be replaced using solar panels. This research integrates renewable energy with IoT to improve laboratory electricity usage efficiency. An ESP32-based solar panel is used to collect and control energy data. Successful testing demonstrates the ability of this system, with a 67% utilization of renewable energy. The solar cell requires attention from hardware devices. The integration of renewable energy with Telegram is efficient and can be applied to another system.
