Abstract

The organization of funerals is an integral part of the life of the Muslim community, and in Surau Gadang Village, aspects of Islamic education play a central role in guiding every stage of the process. This study aims to explore the form and implementation of the traditional tradition of death in Surau Gadang Village, as well as the values of Islamic education contained in it. This study used participatory observation methods and interviews to document the process of organizing funerals and analyze the values of Islamic education that color every step. These results are expected to make a positive contribution to the understanding and implementation of Islamic education values in everyday life, especially in the context of organizing Muslim community funerals in Surau Gadang Village, Padang City. The form and implementation of the traditional tradition of death in Surau Gadang Village is the gathering of the community of five tribes before the bathing process begins, using carano when bathing the corpse, wearing clothes and deta when lining the male corpse and wearing mukena when covering the female corpse, and carrying out the mayik maenvironment process before the body is brought to the grave.

Abstract

The purpose of this assistance is to introduce and provide basic knowledge about hijaiyah letters, both in the form of readings and the basic forms of these letters. This assistance was carried out due to the lack of interest in reading and writing the Qur'an in Korong Simpang Tiga due to the Covid-19 situation and conditions that hit at that time. This assistance is carried out using the Particitpatory Action Research (PAR) method with the initial stage, namely by providing a general description by writing the hijaiyah letter shape on the blackboard, then introducing the reading by singing the song "hijaiyah letters". The next stage is to sing together by pointing one by one to the hijaiyah letters sung. The results of assistance in the first stage were obtained by children who previously did not know the hijaiyah letters, becoming aware of the hijaiyah letter shape by visualizing the shape of the letter on the blackboard. Then it was obtained that children who previously had little interest in learning the Qur'an became eager to learn by using the method of singing with the song "hijaiyah letters" and giving an idea of the shape of the hijaiyah letters. Then with the method of singing as well as visualizing the shape of the letters, it makes children who do not understand the differences between hijaiyah letters understand the differences between letters with one another. In using this method, children are also obtained who memorize and can write back the hijaiyah letters requested by the author.

Abstract

This training aims to facilitate and improve the tahsinul Al-Qur'an through the takrir or repetition method at MDA Patriot Pancasila. This tacit or repetition method will make it easier for students at MDA Patriot Pancasila to read and pronounce the letters or verses that they have listened to via audio or from the teacher concerned. This training method was carried out using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. In this training, the stages carried out in the takrir method to improve the tahsinul Al-Qur'an are, first by playing audio about the hijaiyah letters and how to pronounce them in accordance with the makharijul letters. After the audio is played, students take turns repeating the correct pronunciation of the hijaiyah letters according to the makhorijul letters. So that students who cannot pronounce the hijaiyah letters correctly according to the makharijul letters will find it easier to understand and remember the pronunciation of reading the hijaiyah letters together, both students are asked to repeat the reading of the hijaiyah letters which have been played alternately. The result of this training is that, with the training carried out, students at MDA Patriot Pancasila are more enthusiastic about repeating, improving and learning about the correct hijaiyah letters and in accordance with the makharijul letters. For the implementation of this training, cooperation between fellow teachers is expected to further improve students' abilities in reciting the Al-Qur'an using the takrir method. In this training, it is hoped that teachers can apply the tahsin of the Al-Qur'an using this takrir method, because it can make it easier for students to understand and remember the tahsin of the Al-Qur'an
