Abstract

Technological advancements have driven the transformation of archiving systems from conventional methods to more efficient digital systems. This research aims to systematically review previous studies discussing digital archiving applications, with a focus on the methods and approaches used. The review process was conducted using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) method, with journal selection based on relevant keywords. The results indicate that the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is the most frequently used method in analyzing digital archiving applications, followed by UTAUT, EUCS, and Phenomenology. Furthermore, quantitative approaches are more dominant than qualitative approaches in evaluating the effectiveness and acceptance of digital archiving systems. Key factors influencing the successful implementation of these applications include ease of use, user satisfaction, and system effectiveness. Based on the research findings, it is recommended that future studies expand the scope of literature and combine quantitative and qualitative approaches to obtain more comprehensive results. The development of digital archiving applications should also consider aspects of usability, data security, and system effectiveness to more optimally support efficient archive management.

Abstract

This study investigates vocational students' perceptions of using social media as a tool for learning English. With the increasing prevalence of social media platforms in students' daily lives, their potential in supporting language acquisition has become a relevant subject of inquiry. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using a structured questionnaire with a 4-point Likert scale to gather data from 114 vocational high school students. The results show that students view social media positively in terms of its contribution to improving their English learning. Respondents reported that social media platforms make learning more enjoyable, reduce anxiety, boost confidence, and foster independent learning. Students also perceived improvements in core language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—as well as vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar. However, the study also identified challenges, including exposure to inappropriate content, privacy concerns, and limited internet access. These findings emphasize the need for digital literacy and proper guidance to fully leverage the educational advantages of social media. The study concludes that, with suitable teaching approaches and awareness of possible drawbacks, social media serves as an effective supplementary resource for vocational students learning English.

Abstract

The rise in popularity of social media has increased the arena for cybercrime activities, especially with the presence of digital comments including hate speech, defamation, and information that may violate the Electronic Information and Transaction Law (UU ITE) of Indonesia. This paper presents a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), using the PRISMA 2020 approach, focusing on forensic linguistic approaches applied on social media comments as a data corpus for cybercrime. Literature reviews have been performed on four different databases, which are Google Scholar, Garuda, Scopus, and DOAJ, from the year 2015 to 2024. Out of 172 reviewed papers, only 18 of them have fulfilled the inclusion requirements. Based on synthesis results, the conclusions are that: (1) the two main approaches used in forensic linguistics are lexical semantic and speech act pragmatics; (2) Instagram is the most explored platform in terms of the corpus of data; (3) most of the papers have mapped the results with UU ITE Article 27, 28, and 45; and (4) there is still a lack in the studies related to multimodality and standardization of digital evidence extraction procedures as legally acceptable evidence.
