Abstract

Abstract Dans l'apprentissage du français, il y a quatre compétences linguistiques qu'il faut maîtriser car elles sont liées les unes aux autres. L'un d'eux est la capacité d'écoute. L'un des médias qui peut être utilisé dans l'apprentissage des compétences d'écoute est le podcast multimédia basé sur Youtube. Le podcast basé sur Youtube aura une influence positive sur les élèves car ce média leur est familier et ils peuvent se rencontrer dans la vie de tous les jours. Le podcast contiendra également des images, des écrits accompagnés d'une musique de fond qui ne feront pas s'ennuyer les élèves et développeront leur enthousiasme. Le but de cette étude est d'analyser les besoins des enseignants et des élèves en médias podcast basés sur YouTube pour les compétences d'écoute des élèves de la classe X et de décrire comment développer des médias podcast pour les compétences d'écoute des élèves du secondaire de la classe X. Cette étude utilise la méthode R&D. Selon les résultats du questionnaire d'analyse des besoins, les répondants sont intéressés par l'apprentissage des compétences d'écoute à l'aide de médias podcast basés sur Youtube et les répondants sont plus enthousiastes si le média contient des images illustrées, écrites et accompagnées d'une musique de fond. Abstract In learning French, there are four language skills that must be mastered because they are related to one another. One of them is listening skill. One of the media that can be used in learning listening skills is media podcast based on Youtube. Podcast based on Youtube will have a positive influence on students because this media is familiar and they can meet in everyday life. The podcast will also contain pictures, writing accompanied by background music that will not make students feel bored and will develop students' enthusiasm. The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of teachers and students for media podcast based on youtube for listening skills in class X students and describe how to develop podcast media for listening skills in class X high school students..

Abstract

RÉSUMÉ.  La culture est une partie apprise dans l’apprentissage du français parce qu’apprendre une langue n’est pas seulement apprendre la langue mais aussi sa culture.  L’un des problèmes chez les étudiants du français est la compréhension interculturelle, par exemple sur l’habitude de la gastronomie. En regardant cette situation, il est nécessaire de proposer un matériel pédagogique alternatif pour aider les apprenants à apprendre et comprendre la culture française et indonésienne. Il est possible de profiter des recettes de cuisine comme support pédagogique interculturel. L’objectif de cet article est d’appliquer une séquence pédagogique interculturelle en profitant de la recette de cuisine mise en place dans le cours de Communication Interculturelle pour les étudiants de 3eme semestre en se mettant l’accent sur le déroulement de l’apprentissage et la réponse des étudiants. Les activités faites se basent sur la démarche interculturelle du modèle KATA Kita,  en comparant des repas français et indonésiens qui sont identiques permettant les étudiants à créer une nouvelle recette. Les étudiants discutent de quatre recettes indonésiennes : Gado-gado, Sop Konro, Terong balado et Apem,  et quatre recettes françaises : salade niçoise, soupe à l’oignon, ratatouille et crêpes. Les étudiants montrent une très bonne réponse sur le processus de l’apprentissage interculturel en profitant des recettes de cuisine. Mots clés : apprentissage interculturel, culture , modèle KATA Kita, recette de cuisine  ABSTRACT.  Culture is a part of French learning because learning a language is not only learning the language but also its culture. One of French learner’s problems is cross cultural understanding, for example in gastronomy habit. Concerning this situation, probably, it is necessary to give alternative and innovative materials that enable learners to learn French and Indonesian culture in intercultural concept. Recipes can be availed as a teaching aid in intercultural learning. The aim of this article is to apply an intercultural pedagogical sequence by taking advantage of the cooking recipe set up in the course of “Communication Interculturelle” for 3rd semester students with an emphasis on the learning process and the response of the students. This authentic document is presented by following the intercultural approach intercultural approach of the KATA Kita model, by comparing French and Indonesian meals which are identical whic allows the students to create a new recipe. The students discusses four Indonesian recipes: Gado-gado, Sop Konro, Terong podcast and Apem, and four French recipes: salad nicoise, onion soup, ratatouille and pancakes. The students show a very good respons on the intercultural learning process by using the cooking recipes. Keywords: intercultural learning, culture, KATA Kita, recipes

Abstract

This study aims to find out what types of grammatical writing errors are made by AI-level language education students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The benefits of this study are to add insight and knowledge to researchers about writing a study on grammatical error analysis of French writing skills. In this study, the data source was taken from the results of students writing taken from the results of the final semester exam, and the results of the form filling. The results showed that there were 124 errors in exercise 1 and 84 errors in exercise 2, including omission of orthography, excessive orthography, malformations, and mail order. The most dominating errors are malformations.

Abstract

The AIR method (Audience, Intellectual, Repetition) is a learning model considered suitable for the reading skills of advanced students. This study aims 1) to describe the application of the AIR method (Auditory, Intellectually and Repetition) with the Marsupilami comic strip as a means of learning advanced students’ French reading skills, 2) to describe the effectiveness of applying the AIR method with the Marsupilami comic strip as a means of learning advanced students’ French reading skills. This research is a descriptive-qualitative pre-experiment, a one-shot case study design. The subjects of this study were students in the 5th semester of the Advanced Written French course, a total of 25 students. Data collection techniques included observation, testing and documentation. The results showed that applying the AIR method with Marsupilami comics as a means of teaching advanced students French reading skills was not effective. The research results showed that 18 students, or 72% of the students, achieved the full score or reached the score of 65. This means that the percentage of learning results is less than 85%, and that we can say that the application of the method in learning French is not effective.

Abstract

Listening skills must be mastered first when learning French because by mastering these skills, students will be able to master other language skills. In the French Language Education study program at Universitas Negeri Semarang, one of the courses intended to help students master listening and speaking skills is the Français Orale Introductif. The teaching material used in this course is Tendances A1. It is not yet known whether this teaching material is suitable for the applicable curriculum. Therefore, this research aims to describe the results of the analysis of the suitability of the audio material in Tendances A1 with the semester learning plan for the Français Orale Introductif course. This research uses a qualitative approach with content analysis techniques. Tendances A1 contains nine audio and nine video materials that comply with the RPS of the Français Oral Introductif course. All nine audio materials meet Prastowo's selection criteria for audio teaching materials, while five of the nine video materials that correspond to the RPS for the Français Oral Introductif course meet Prastowo's selection criteria for video teaching materials. As for the themes of descriptions of cultural activities and culinary themes, there is no video or audio material in the Tendances A1 teaching materials that discuss these two themes. These two themes are listed in the semester learning plan for the Français Orale Introductif course.
