Abstract

This research is motivated by the reality of married couples living in big cities in Indonesia, presented by television media through soap operas or FTV (Film Televisi/Television Film). The study focuses on FTV Suara Hati Istri on TV Indosiar, which shows social construction and reality in the female character, especially a wife figure. This research examines the FTV Suara Hati Istri episode "Suamiku Membayar Ketulusan Hatiku dengan Pengkhianatan (My Husband Repays My Sincerity with Betrayal)", where Mita is described as a wife who sincerely loves her husband but humiliates her. The purpose of this research is to discover the construction of the character Mita as a wife and the meaning about the reality of a wife. This qualitative research method uses semiotic analysis of the Roland Barthes model with a constructivist paradigm. Moreover, the data are analysed using Berger and Luckman's social construction theory which divides reality into objective, symbolic, and subjective reality. Results showed that the reality of Mita's character as a wife is indeed constructed as a wife who is economically independent and highly educated but weak in the face of her husband's attitude, who is rude, unfaithful, and tends not to respect her as a wife.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze differences in company financial performance before and after the Initial Public Offering. The research period is three years before and two years after the IPO. The object of this research is PT Bukalapak.com Tbk which is conducting an IPO in 2021. The analytical method used is the Analysis of Financial Liquidity Ratios, Activity Ratios, Profitability Ratios, and Solvency Ratios and in-depth interviews with the person in charge (key person) of the company to confirm and strengthen the analysis results. The research results show that there are significant differences in the company's financial performance, namely liquidity, activity, and solvency before and after the IPO, while the company's profitability experienced a decline in performance after the IPO in the first year and improved in the second year after the IPO until it was able to record its first positive performance in the second year after the IPO.

Abstract

Sistem kerja hybrid adalah sistem baru yang fleksibel di mana karyawan bisa bekerja di kantor atau berbagai lokasi yang berbeda. Sistem kerja ini diklaim dapat meningkatkan produktivitas perusahaan, dan memberikan kepuasan untuk karyawan. Namun, sistem kerja hybrid juga membutuhkan kesiapan dan kemampuan organisasi untuk mengelola sistem kerja yang kompleks dan dinamis ini. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat maturitas sistem kerja hybrid di PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi, Tbk (Emtek), sebuah perusahaan konglomerat teknologi, telekomunikasi, dan media yang berkantor pusat di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan dari wawancara mendalam dengan 3 orang jajaran managemen Emtek, serta penyebaran kuesioner ke 55 karyawan di 11 unit yang berbeda. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Emtek memiliki tingkat maturitas sistem kerja hybrid pada level CHAMPION. Hal ini dikarenakan organisasi telah memiliki kebijakan dan prosedur yang komprehensif, budaya dan komunikasi yang kuat, infrastruktur teknologi yang mumpuni, serta fasilitas kerja yang mamadai. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan beberapa langkah yang dapat dilakukan oleh Emtek untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan tingkat maturitas sistem kerja hybrid mereka, seperti melakukan evaluasi dan penyesuaian secara berkala, meningkatkan kolaborasi lintas fungsi dan tim, memberikan pelatihan dan bimbingan bagi karyawan, meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan keterlibatan karyawan secara optimal, pengembangan dan penilaian kinerja yang adil dan efektif bagi karyawan yang bekerja secara hybrid, serta mengantisipasi perubahan dan tantangan di masa depan.
