Abstract

This research aimed to examine the influence of customer reviews and ratings on purchase decisions through consumer trust. The population in this study was the West Java society who have used or made purchases on the Shopee marketplace, with a sample size of 180 respondents selected using probability sampling technique. The study utilized 18 statement indicators on a scale of 1-10. Sampling and analysis of the results were conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with AMOS version 23, which was employed to test the direct influence of customer reviews and ratings on purchase decisions through consumer trust as an intervening variable. The research instrument consisted of a physical questionnaire containing statements and was distributed directly to the respondents. The findings from the tested hypotheses concluded that (1) customer reviews have a positive and significant influence on consumer trust, (2) ratings have a positive and significant influence on consumer trust, (3) customer reviews have a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions, (4) ratings do not influence on purchase decisions, (5) consumer trust has a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions, (6) customer trust partially mediated the influence of customer reviews on purchasing decisions, and (7) customer trust fully mediated the influence of ratings on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

UMKM merupakan kontributor terbesar pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia. UMKM merupakan unit usaha sederhana berskala kecil, dapat dijalankan melalui industri rumahan. Produk UMKM memiliki potensi untuk mendukung perekonomian lokal. Namun banyak UMKM yang mengalami tantangan dalam mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kualitas produk. Hal ini sama seperti yang dihadapi desa Kertawangunan Kabupaten Kuningan Jawa Barat, mengalami kesulitan dalam pengembangan UMKM produk olahan makanan. Program Pengabdian Masyarakat (PKM) memiliki tujuan untuk memecahkan kesulitan yang di hadapi oleh UMKM di desa Kertawangunan Kabupaten Kuningan Jawa Barat untuk pengembangan desain kemasan (packging), penggunaan label (labeling), dan pemasaran secara digital (digital marketing). Metode pelaksanaan PKM dimulai dengan berkordinasi dengan perangkat desa, BUMDES, dan Dinas Kementrian Koperasi dan UMKM Kabupaten Kuningan. Guna penyelenggaraan seminar dan pelatihan kepada pelaku UMKM. Luaran yang akan dihasilkan dari PKM berupa meningkatnya pemahaman pentingnya penggunaan kemasan dan label serta, memiliki desain kemasan produk, menerapkan teknologi digital dalam sarana pemasaran produk.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of work discipline as an intervening variable on the effect of relward and punishment on employee performance. Respondents in this research were BUMD employees in Kuningan Regency as 60 people. Analysis in research used path analysis which is used to examine the indirect effect of relward and punishment on employee performance through work discipline as an intelligence variable by using the Statistical Program for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23. This research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire which contained statements and was distributed directly to the respondents. The research results show that (1) Rewards have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) Punishment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (3) Reward has a positive and significant effect on work discipline, (4) Punishment has a positive and significant effect on work discipline, (5) Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (6) work discipline mediates the effect of reward on performance but work discipline does not mediate the effect of punishment on employee performance
