Abstract

Utilizing a project-based learning model for critical thinking is based on a constructivism philosophy so as to enable students to broaden their knowledge in improving their critical thinking skills through real-world experiences. One of the current innovations in the field of education in response to technological advances is the introduction of e-learning-based learning materials which are considered effective and interesting, especially when the assessment results are already available for taking exams. The quizizz platform is a game-style application that helps educators create materials and assessments during classroom learning. The problems explored in this research use the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model based on local wisdom by using Quizizz to increase the critical thinking power of students at Musamus University (Unmus), Merauke. This study uses two classes. This means that class A is treated as an experimental class and is given a project learning model (PjBL) based on local wisdom by utilizing the Quizizz platform, and class B is treated as a control class which is treated with a direct learning model. The population of this study were all 235 first semester students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program at Musamus University, which consisted of 9 classes. This type of research is quasi-experimental and uses a non-equivalent design with the experimental and control groups. Sampling was carried out by probabilistic random sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out by pretest and posttest. This technique is used to determine students' initial abilities before and after treatment. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, which is calculated based on the average of each group. The analysis hypothesis test used the normality and homogeneity tests of the data, while the hypothesis test was carried out by one party t test. The results of this study indicate that the learning process in the experimental class has a greater impact on improving students' critical thinking skills compared to using the direct learning model in the control class. Abstract

Supervisi merupakan bagian terpenting dari sistem pendidikan, tingkat efektivitas pembelajaran sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas supervisi pendidikan yang dilakukan supervisor oleh kepala sekolah dan pengawas pendidikan. Aktivitas supervisi perlu memberikan kesempatan untuk merdeka dalam pengembangan diri dan profesionalismenya. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian tindakan sekolah, mengacu pada model penelitian Kemmis dan Taggart yang dirancang dengan proses siklus yaitu merencanakan, melakukan tindakan, mengamati, dan melakukan refleksi. Tahapan ini terus berlangsung per individu sampai permasalahan dalam menerapkan ketiga keterampilan dasar mengajar tersebut dapat terselesaikan. Hasil analisis data guru dalam menerapkan ketiga keterampilan dasar mengajar yaitu pada siklus I 68,3 dan pada siklus II 86,3. Dari uraian tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata keterampilan guru yaitu 86,3 –68,3 = 17,96. Dengan demikian penerapan supervisi klinis dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menjelaskan, keterampilan membuka dan menutup pelajaran dan keterampilan mengelola kelas guru di SMP Negeri 2 Merauke, Papua Selatan yang dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan masing-masing keterampilan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Untuk itu diharapkan kepada kepala sekolah dan pengawas sekolah agar membimbing guru melalui kegiatan supervisi klinis.
