Abstract

Beginning numeracy skills are the initial basic abilities that learn understanding related to counting objects, simple addition and subtraction. The aim of this research is to produce an educational game product that is appropriate, effective and efficient according to media experts, material experts and practitioners, to stimulate early numeracy skills in children aged 5-6 years. This type of research uses research and development (R&D) and the development model used is ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation). The media validation test results were 85%, the material validation test results were 90%, then trials on class teachers were 78%, and small group trials obtained 90%, from the four results it can be concluded that the GESIT game is suitable for use by children aged 5-6 years . While the results of the non-parametric statistical test using the Wilcoxon test 0.002 (p-value) with a significance level of 0.05 which means (0.002 (p-value) <0.05) then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, namely the influence of the GESIT game on learning outcomes counting the beginning in children aged 5-6 years. ABSTRAK Kemampuan berhitung permulaan merupakan kemampuan dasar awal yang mempelajari pemahaman terkait dengan menghitung benda, penjumlahan dan pengurangan sederhana. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk game edukasi yang layak, efektif dan efisien menurut ahli media, ahli materi dan praktisi, untuk menstimulasi kemampuan berhitung permulaan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan research and development (R&D) serta model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementasion dan evaluation). Hasil uji validasi media 85%, hasil uji validasi materi 90%, kemudian uji coba terhadap guru kelas 78%, dan uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh 90%, dari keempat hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa game GESIT layak digunakan untuk anak usia 5-6 tahun. Sedangkan dari hasil uji statistik nonparametik menggunakan uji wilcoxon  0,002 (p-value) dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,05 yang artinya (0,002 (p-value) < 0,05) maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak yaitu adanya pengaruh game GESIT terhadap hasil belajar berhitung permulaan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun.
