Abstract

In this digital era, people increasingly prefer to engage in easy activities, such as online shopping. Impulsive buying is a phenomenon that occurs unconsciously in daily life, both by men and women. The age group of 18-21 years old, particularly adolescents, tend to engage in impulsive buying more than other age groups. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the influence of conformity and positive emotions as predictors of consumer impulsive buying tendencies in online shopping in Karawang. The research method used in this study is an associative quantitative method. The research instruments include a 42-item conformity scale, a 38-item positive emotions scale, and a 23-item impulsive buying tendency scale. The population of this study is online shoppers aged 18-21 years old in Karawang. The sampling technique used is quota sampling with a sample size of 385 people. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression test using JASP 0.16 software. Based on the data analysis, the significance value obtained was < 0.001 or p < 0.05, indicating that conformity and positive emotions can influence the tendency of consumer impulsive buying in online shopping in Karawang as predictors. The influence contributed by conformity and positive emotions towards the tendency of consumer impulsive buying in online shopping in Karawang is 20.4%, while the remaining 79.6% is influenced by other variables outside the scope of this research.

Abstract

Resilience is the individual's ability to choose to recover from sad and challenging life events by increasing their knowledge to be adaptive and overcome similar adverse situations in the future. In early adulthood, many individuals experience a condition called quarter-life crisis, where they feel a sense of worry caused by uncertainty about their future life. Therefore, resilience is needed to face the existing challenges, in order to be able to adapt and protect individuals from the rigors of stress. Resilience arises as a protective factor that is distinguished internally and externally. Externally, resilience is related to attachment, which is a continuous affective bond characterized by a tendency to seek and maintain closeness to specific figures, especially when under pressure. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to determine the influence of self-esteem and attachment as predictors of resilience in young adults who are experiencing quarter-life crisis simultaneously. The method in this research is quantitative, with a sample of early adults experiencing quarter-life crisis, thus the sampling technique used in this research is incidental sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a resilience scale, the standardized Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), and the attachment scale using the Experiences in Close Relationship-Revised-General Short Form (ECR-R-GSF) scale, Additionally, the Developmental Crisis Questionnaire (DQC-12) scale was used to measure quarter-life crisis in early adults. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple regression analysis. From the research results using SPSS version 27, a significant value was obtained for both independent variables of 0.000 < 0.005, therefore Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, indicating that self-esteem and attachment together are predictors of resilience in early adults experiencing quarter-life crisis.

Abstract

Pendapatan yang tergolong besar mendorong para pekerja untuk berperilaku konsumtif dengan berpenampilan mewah serta selalu mengikuti tren yang sedang terjadi. Perilaku konsumtif tersebut dapat menyebabkan terjadinya pemborosan dengan tidak mempertimbangkan apa yang sebenarnya diperlukan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya hidup hedonis dan fear of missing out terhadap perilaku konsumtif pada pekerja di Kabupaten Karawang dengan jumlah sebanyak 112 orang. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif dengan desain kausalitas dan menggunakan teknik sampel convenience sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga jenis skala, diantaranya: skala gaya hidup hedonis, skala FoMO, dan skala perilaku konsumtif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang berarti ada pengaruh gaya hidup hedonis dan fear of missing out terhadap perilaku konsumtif. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) menunjukkan hasil sebesar 0,896 atau 89,6% dimana gaya hidup hedonis berkontribusi sebesar 77,4% dan fear of missing out sebesar 12,2%. Dengan kata lain gaya hidup hedonis memiliki nilai sumbangan efektif lebih besar terhadap perilaku konsumtif pada pekerja di Kabupaten Karawang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap keterikatan kerja pada karyawan industri di Karawang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan desain penelitian kausal. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini merupakan karyawan dari berbagai industri di Karawang dengan jumlah 218 partisipan. Analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis regresi linier sederhana menggunakan program SPSS. Pengambilan data keterikatan kerja diukur menggunakan skala adopsi Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-9) versi bahasa indonesia dan kepuasan kerja diukur menggunakan skala adatasi Job Satisfaction Survei (JSS). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis regresi linier sederhana diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang berarti kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keterikatan kerja dengan nilai (R Square) sebesar 0,10 artinya kepuasan kerja mempengaruhi keterikatan kerja sebesar 10%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh work life balance dan perceived organizational support terhadap work engagement pada karyawan di Kabupaten Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain yang digunakan adalah kausalitas asosiatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 348 responden menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan jenis convenience sampling. Skala yang di gunakan untuk adalah Work Life Balance Scale dari Fisher dkk, Perceived Organizational Support Scale dari Eisenberger yang sudah diadaptasi kedalam bahasa Indonesia dengan penerapan Rasch Model, dan Utrecht Work Engagement Scale-9 (UWES-9). Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi berganda (uji T dan uji F) dengan software SPSS versi 25.0 for windows. Hasil Uji T (X1) pada penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05, artinya ada pengaruh work life balance terhadap work engagement (Ha1 diterima dan H01 ditolak), dan Uji T (X2) juga menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05, artinya ada pengaruh perceived organizational support terhadap work engagement (Ha2 diterima dan H02 ditolak), lalu untuk Uji F pada penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0.000 artinya ada pengaruh work life balance dan perceived organizational support terhadap work engagement pada karyawan di Kabupaten Karawang (Ha3 diterima dan H03 ditolak). Nilai koefisien determinasi pada R Square sebesar 0,305 artinya work life balance dan perceived organizational support berpengaruh terhadap work engagement sebesar 30,5% dan sisanya 69,5% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
