Abstract

The objectives of this activity are: (1) to increase the knowledge and skills of housewives in processing papaya into hygienic chips with selling value; (2) fostering entrepreneurial spirit and motivation to do business; and (3) encouraging the formation of home businesses based on local potential that can increase family income. The training is carried out through counseling methods, direct practice demonstrations, production assistance, and simple packaging and marketing education. The targeted outputs include: (1) increasing the competence of participants in producing papaya chips independently; (2) the preparation of simple guidelines for the production and packaging process; (3) the creation of papaya chip products with attractive packaging; and (4) the formation of small business groups or household-based MSME startups in Tanjung Tiram Village. In the long term, this activity is expected to be able to strengthen family economic independence, optimize the use of local potential, and support the sustainable development of the village's creative economy.
