Abstract

Infeksi luka operasi dapat memberikan dampak negatif bagi pasien seperti masa perawatan yang lama, meningkatkan biaya rumah sakit, dan menurunkan mutu rumah sakit serta kepuasan pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya infeksi luka operasi di Rumah Sakit Umum Madani Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 111 responden. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 53 responden yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan nonprobability sampling dan pemilihan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji Fisher Exact didapatkan untuk variabel personal hygiene didapatkan nilai p-value = 0,040 (0,040 < 0,05), variabel kepatuhan SPO didapatkan nilai p-value = 0,006 (0,006 < 0,05), dan variabel pengobatan didapatkan nilai p-value = 0,004 (0,004 < 0,05). Kesimpulan menyebutkan bahwa ada hubungan antara personal hygiene, kepatuhan SPO, dan pengobatan dengan kejadian infeksi luka operasi di Rumah Sakit Umum Madani Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Saran, kedepannya hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi pedoman dan kewaspadaan dalam mencegah terjadinya infeksi luka operasi.

Abstract

Background: The postpartum is a recovery period after deliver that begins after placenta discharge until the uterus organ recover to pre-pregnancy condition within 6 to 8 weeks. Some of the Kaili tribe people of Mamboro Barat Village still trust to sando mpoana (traditional birth attendants) because they feel save when doing postpartum care at Sando. This study aims to find out in depth about the experiences of postpartum women who undergo Bapasoa traditional care in Mamboro Barat Village, Central Sulawesi Province. Methods: This type of research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data collection by using in-depth interviews aims to obtain data and an overview of the traditions of postpartum women care after giving birth. Research Results: The results of this study obtained 10 themes, such of: 1) Changes in the family environment, 2) Benefits of bapasoa, 3) Side effects, 4) Efforts to prevent the side effects, 5) Efforts to achieve recovery, 6) Types of support, 7) Source of support, 8) Obstacles when going to bapasoa, 9) Efforts to overcome obstacles, 10) Expectations. Conclusion: The experience of postpartum women who undergo bapasoa traditional care is able to adapt to undergoing bapasoa traditional care and requires support from themselves, others and health workers to overcome the obstacles. Suggestion: For local medical personnel, this research can be the basis for conducting health promotion and continuous assistance to postpartum women who undergo bapasoa traditional care.

Abstract

Dermatitis is a non-inflammatory-inflamatory skin disease that can affect the epidermis and dermis layers both immmediately and over a long period of time. Infections, digestive system diseases, dental health problems, and skin diseases can be caused by poor personal hygiene. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between personal hygiene and the incidence of dermatitis at the UPTD of the Kawatuna Community Health Center. This research uses a cross sectional design and quantitativee methodology. The research population consisted dermatitis sufferers who received treatment at the UPTD Kawatuna Community Health Center from March to May 2024. Of this number, the sample consisted of 37 respondents. Spearman statistical test was used to analyze incidental sampling. Personal hygiene and the prevalence of dermatitis at the Kawatuna Public Health Center uptd have a significant relationship, based on data collected from 37 respondents. The spearman rank test obtained a p value of 0,007 <0,05. This shows that there is a statistically significant relationship between the incidence of dermatitis and personal hygiene. There is a correlation between personal hygiene and the incidence of dermatitis at Kawatuna Public Health Center. This is expected to increase public awareness of the need to protect themselves and their surrounding environment to prevent dermatitis   Keywords: Dermatitis; Disease;  Personal Hygiene
