Advances in information technology and the demands of globalization are driving educational institutions to improve the quality of efficient and responsive administrative services, in which administrative managers play a strategic role in supporting the smooth operation of schools; this study aims to describe the experiences and perceptions of administrative managers in enhancing the efficiency of administrative services at SMA 1 Damaga, analyze the influencing factors, and identify strategies for optimizing services. Using a qualitative case study approach at SMA 1 Damaga, the research subjects included the head of administration, administrative staff, and related parties, with data collection conducted through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of administrative systems and procedures, while data were analyzed using source triangulation to ensure validity. The results indicate that efficiency is achieved through the use of digital technologies such as computer-based filing, the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), clear task distribution, and improved internal coordination; administrative managers perceive that success is largely determined by enhanced human resource competencies, work discipline, and adaptation to digital systems, supported by the availability of technological facilities and school policies, although constrained by limited training, resistance to change, and technical obstacles. Overall, the effectiveness of administrative services has increased significantly, as evidenced by faster service delivery, improved data accuracy, and higher levels of user satisfaction.
