Abstract

Failure Soldering characteristic on die casting makes it’s should be had high wear ability erosion and also released from white layer embrittlement on nitriding process. Both of shot peening and nitriding are kind of process which can increasing surface strength characterization in structural or mechanical components and also as an affricative way to prevent soldering. This research has spesific purpose how to learn affected morphology of layer, surface, and hardness on H13 modification after shot peening & nitriding. In this case research, H13 tool steel will be compared with superior which each part of material has 5 combination surface treatment and 2 kind of holding time of nitriding. Then dipped into the molten of ADC12 Aluminum at temperature 680oC and held for 30 second, 5 minutes and 30 minutes. Characterizations on the surface of the steel were focused on the microstructure, microhardness profile, surface roughness, and weight loss of the H13 tool steel. Result found that H13 modification show hardness until 1415,9 HV compare with only shot peening treatment. This research result showed that best resistance to soldering to create from combination shot peening before and after nitriding.Keywords: Process Design, Knowledge Management, Innovation Strategy

Abstract

PT. MTI has a problem that often occurs in planning its production capacity, where there are often delays in the delivery of ordered products. One of the causes is also the inhibition of the production process at one of the workstations, resulting in the flow of the production process. Theory Of Constraints (TOC) is an improvement method that helps in making decisions in managing resources. The TOC method is also very useful for optimizing production capacity by analyzing and minimizing time constraints that support production. In addition, the Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) method is a method for calculating capacity requirements and comparing them with the available capacity. The data used in this study are product demand data, product processing time, product structure, and working hours. From the results of data processing with the TOC approach, it was found that the workstation experiencing obstacles was the welding workstation and the amount of buffering at the workstation was 5.22 hours before the workstation and 4.97 hours after the obstacle station. And the results of data processing with RCCP and LINDO software get the optimal production capacity produced by PT. MTI is 181 units per month with the distribution of 101 units for Pallet 1A, and 80 units for Pallet 3A, and based on the largest MPS comparison, it is stated that the company's capacity is not sufficient to meet the largest demand for MPS in November. So the company needs to increase the working hours overtime or by adding several units of machines to the workstation constrained by the welding station.

Abstract

There are so many news portals available but not many people know the methods of using journalistic techniques. The purpose of this community service is to make it easier for the community to gain the ability to learn about journalism and demonstrate the use of online news to the community, especially residents of Komplek Kebersihan RT13/RW10 Cengkareng, West Jakarta. The result of community service is getting good knowledge about journalism after studying the Nachannel.my.id News Portal which has various features both in reporting information, videos and polls, which also includes features to promote products. In conclusion, with this community service, the community can gain knowledge about basic techniques of news journalism and also get training in using news portal application features on Android smartphones on mobile devices (smartphones) and laptops used by residents, especially residents of the Komplek kebersihan RT13/RW10 Cengkareng West Jakarta.

Abstract

Online marketplace is so mushrooming that it can make it easier for someone to transact in everyday life. By introducing this technology to the community, especially residents of Komp. Kebersihan RT13 / RW10 Cengkareng West Jakarta. It is hoped that it can make it easier for someone to start an online shop business, or make it easier for someone to promote their products, therefore by conducting learning in the context of community service to socialize the introduction of the online marketplace and also provide training on the use of features in the marketplace that can be used by residents of Komp. housing. Kebersihan RT13/RW10 Cengkareng West Jakarta. This is a community service activity by us.

In the contemporary era, news portals have become integral mediums for global information access and dissemination. However, the swift evolution of technology demands a nuanced understanding to effectively harness these platforms. This study employs an online learning approach as part of a community service initiative, targeting the residents of Komplek Kebersihan Street 13th Neighbourhood 10th Hamlet in Cengkareng, West Jakarta. Focused on the news portal Nachannel.my.id, this endeavor not only familiarizes participants with its features but also addresses the imperative of technological literacy in engineering education. By providing insights into news portal functionality and usage, the initiative empowers participants to navigate the digital information landscape proficiently. The study's outcomes underscore the significance of bridging the knowledge gap, as post-service feedback reflects enhanced awareness and appreciation for the advantages conferred by news portals. This research contributes to the field of engineering by emphasizing the pivotal role of technological literacy in engaging with contemporary information platforms.
