Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the moving price in sub-sector building construction with crude petroleum and natural gas,selected the stock to build a portfolio with diversification method uses empirical data in both sub-sector. There are threemethodology using in this research: First, the author uses technical method and fundamental to analyse the stockperformance in sub-sector building construction with crude petroleum and natural gas. The technical analysis explained witha chart, while fundamental analysis with a company financial statements. Second, to build the actual portfolio, author usesdiversification method. Furthermore, author evaluating the return of a portfolio relative with Sharpe ratio, Treynor ratio andJensen’s alpha. Third, the portfolio combined by diversification method compared as different as the portfolio that using theconversion method and selected random or index market condition. Three primary results are drawn from this research thefollowing: First, the information moving price represent return rate sub-sector building construction higher than crudepetroleum and natural gas. The stock in sub-sector building construction is grow up in period 2014 to 2016, while anothersub-sector are grow down. Second, the diversification method will be obtain return rate higher. Last, return actual portfoliowhich is obtained with diversification method higher rather that conversion method, as well as to index market. This paper isthe examine how the portfolio in combined form the historical report previous period to result maximum return. In theaddition, the level risk of portfolio can be reference to the investor to build a portfolio that they wanted. This paper uses theempirical data in previous period to present a rational explanation estimated how much value of return to be obtained infuture time.

Abstract

In general, a robot is defined as a mechanical device used by humans to ease human work. Robots are usually used for difficult and dangerous tasks. One example of its use is a firefighting robot that replaces human tasks in extinguishing fires. The firefighting robot is on duty to find fire spots in a city then extinguishing them. To be able to put out a fire, the robot must implement an efficient program in finding and determining the shortest path to the location of the fire and then put it out. For this reason, the robot is equipped with proximity and fire sensors to detect the presence of fire. The design is made with a three-step program that is designing needs of robot control, robot control mechanism scheme preparation and implementing an algorithm for making program syntax. The Brute-Force Algorithm can be implemented to indicate the presence of a hotspot signal and the backtracking Algorithm is implemented to find the shortest path to the hotspot location. This paper discusses the use of a brute-force algorithm and a backtracking algorithm in a firefighting robot program to make the fire search process more efficient. The results show that from 8 input fire points, the firefighting robot is able to find all the points within 3.12 seconds with 13 times trial. In its application, the writer used Visual Basic 6.0 in the firefighting robot program.Keywords: Firefighting Robot, Brute-Force Algorithm, and Backtracking Algorithm.Secara umum robot didefinisikan sebagai suatu alat mekanik yang digunakan oleh manusia untuk mempermudah pekerjaan manusia. Robot biasanya digunakan untuk tugas-tugas yang sulit dan berbahaya. Salah satu contoh penggunaannya adalah robot pemadam kebakaran yang menggantikan tugas manusia dalam memadamkan api. Robot pemadam kebakaran bertugas untuk menemukan titik api di suatu kota kemudian memadamkannya. Untuk dapat memadamkan api, robot harus menerapkan program yang efisien dalam mencari dan menentukan jalur terpendek menuju lokasi kebakaran kemudian memadamkannya. Untuk itu, robot dilengkapi dengan proximity dan fire sensor untuk mendeteksi adanya api. Perancangan dibuat dengan tiga langkah program yaitu perancangan kebutuhan pengendalian robot, penyusunan skema mekanisme kendali robot dan implementasi algoritma untuk pembuatan sintaks program. Algoritma Brute-Force dapat diimplementasikan untuk menunjukkan adanya sinyal hotspot dan Algoritma backtracking diimplementasikan untuk mencari jalur terpendek ke lokasi hotspot. Penelitian ini membahas tentang penggunaan algoritma brute force dan algoritma backtracking pada simulasi program robot pemadam kebakaran agar proses pencarian kebakaran menjadi lebih efisien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 8 input titik api, robot pemadam kebakaran mampu menemukan semua titik dalam waktu 3,12 detik dengan 13 percobaan. Dalam penerapannya penulis menggunakan Visual Basic 6.0 pada program robot pemadam kebakaran. Kata kunci: Robot Pemadam Kebakaran, Algoritma Brute-Force, dan Backtracking.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) is one of the important aspects to support the improvement of the economy in Indonesia. Zee Mart’s business is one of the UMKM shop in Pematang Siantar City with sales and purchase transaction activities for supplies. The purpose of this study is to predict the sales of Zee Mart store goods in the coming month using the adaptive response rate single exponential smoothing (ARRSES) method. ARRSES is a method with the advantage of having two parameters, alpha and beta, where alpha will change every period when the data pattern changes. The dataset obtained will be pre-processed through data selection, cleaning, and transformation. The best beta is determined based on the level of accuracy calculated using the mean absolute percentage error (MAPE). Model development using the ARRSES method will produce forecasting percentages and errors for each product using MAPE. The number of sales data is 23,092 before preprocessing and 23,021 after pre-processing, with the total quantity of goods sold being 149,764 of 1,492 products. The results obtained using sales data 23,021 show the lowest MAPE value of 9.85 at the best beta of 0.6 with the highest accuracy of 90.15% and the model is implemented into a web interface.

Abstract

DiTenun is a start-up engaged in traditional woven fabrics. The main product of DiTenun is the technology that can create woven motifs using artificial intelligence. In running the business, DiTenun is still experiencing stagnation in its development so that DiTenun continues to make efforts to develop its business. One of these efforts is to participate in the Kedaireka Matching Fund program offered by the Ministry of Education and Culture. This program requires DiTenun to cooperate with Batikta and Kaldera. To support this collaboration, it is necessary to know Dtenun business model's description to make the collaboration flow more focused. Therefore, this research aimed to discover the description of the DiTenun business model and its business collaboration. Canvas Business Model was used to determine the business strategy and was tested using SWOT planning method to evaluate the project's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats or business speculation. From the BMC (Canvas Business Model) that has been designed for weaving, the company are recommended to further develop it in the elements of several elements. On the key activities element, it can focus on building a community of weavers when marketing expansion is better at selling its products. On the key partner element, it can expand its partners to the ones who can make DiTenun more developed, both in terms of business and production. On key resource elements, they can further develop their technology so that they can produce more perfect motifs and can be much easier for weavers to understand. Another essential thing that DiTenun needs to pay attention to is participating in critical programs to help DiTenun expand its business. Abstract

Minimnya kemampuan UMKM dalam melakukan pencatatan keuangan dan membuat laporan keuangan telah menjadi masalah pelik bagi pengusaha UMKM. Laporan keuangan berfungsi sebagai alat yang digunakan untuk menganalisis kinerja keuangan untuk memberikan informasi tentang posisi keuangan dan arus kas untuk suatu periode tertentu. Permasalahan ini juga dirasakan oleh UMKM UD Tampok-Tampok. Hal ini tentu mempengaruhi kelangsungan usaha di masa yang akan datang, karena pemilik usaha tidak dapat mengetahui secara pasti berapa keuntungan yang diperolehnya dalam jangka waktu tertentu dari usaha yang dikelolanya, sehingga rencana usaha ke depan tidak dapat dibuat dengan pasti. Oleh sebab itu, untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini maka peneliti bertujuan memberikan solusi bagi permasalahan UD Tampok-Tampok dengan membuat kalkulator keuangan berbasis web dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan web kalkulator keuanganini adalah dengan menggunakan metode Scrum. Dengan dibuatnya sistem ini, maka membantu UD Tampok-Tampok dalam mencatat dan membuat laporan keuangan untuk menunjang kebutuhan bisnis guna mengembangkan bisnisnya serta meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi kerja dan juga biaya

Abstract

Utilization of technology is one of the steps that can be taken by MSMEs to compete with other MSMEs. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is one of the information technologies that can be used by MSMEs. Setia Motor Tarutung is one of the MSMEs in needed implementation of the ERP to help integrate data and optimize currently business processes. This study aims to configure and conduct testing the ERP system with the Dolibarr application that can meet the business process needs of MSME Setia Motor Tarutung. The business process modeling will provide information regarding the current needs of MSME Setia Motor Tarutung. Thus, it is possible to modify an open source-based ERP system using the Dolibarr application and produce an ERP system that is able to meet the needed for current. The Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) method is used to identify the business processes of MSME Setia Motor Tarutung. Testing of the configured ERP system is carried out using the Black-Box Testing method. From the research conducted, it is found that business process modeling with the BPMN method has a major influence on the success of ERP implementation. From the results of the analysis, design and implementation, it was found that the basic Dolibarr modules and features were able to meet the needs of MSME business processes. The system test results show that all functions of the ERP system that have been configured can be used by owners properly and also meet the need of MSME Setia Motor Tarutung.

Abstract

Pangkas rambut konco awak adalah usaha yang bergerak dalam bidang pelayanan jasa pangkas rambut laki-laki. Saat ini usaha ini sudah memiliki tiga cabang, dan peneliti melakukan penelitian pada salah satu cabang yang berada di medan helvetia. Peneliti melakukan analisis terhadap besar biaya pelayanan jasa yang dikeluarkan selama melakukan proses pangkas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Job Order Costing yaitu melakukan perhitungan biaya berdasarkan permintaan yang ada. Pada kasus usaha pangkas, perhitungan biaya didasarkan setiap kali pelanggan datang. Komponen utama dalam metode ini adalah biaya material, biaya tenaka kerja langsung, dan biaya overhead. Biaya material kali ini tidak diikutkan dalam perhitungan, karena kegiatan kali ini termasuk dalam kegiatan pelayanan jasa sehingga hal yang menjadi komponen utama ialah biaya tenaga kerja langsung dan biaya overhead.  Berdasarkan perhitungan didapatkan bahwa biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk tenaga kerja langsung adalah sebesar Rp 5,860.00 dan biaya overhead sebesar Rp 4,216.67 sehingga total biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk melakukan pangkas selama per-jam adalah sebesar Rp 10,076,67. Berdasarkan total biaya ini, owner dapat menentukan biaya tarif pangkas yang akan dibuat dengan memperhitungkan mark-up dan keuntungan yang ingin diambil.

Abstract

PT. Benimel Tani Bestari is located in Humbang Hasundutan and an experimental garden in Gurgur, North Sumatra, this agricultural business is developing the manufacture of medicines or more precisely the essential oil obtained from citronella (cymbopogon winterianus), the process of obtaining citronella essential oil through the extraction process, in To produce essential oils, the process carried out is to harvest citronella, then the withering process is carried out in order to reduce the water content in the material glands, he continued, the distillation process whose output from the distillation is essential oils, but in the business of PT. Benimel Tani Bestari, he did not carry out the counting process which by chopping can expand the evaporation area so that it is easier to extract, the advantage obtained by chopping is that it produces a higher percentage (%) of essential oil yields, this study aims to design a citronella chopper using the AHOQ (Axiomatic House of Quality) method, with Based on several steps, the design and specifications of the chopper are obtained, namely having wheels, pulling rollers, hooks to attach the chopping container, producing 2 cm - 4 cm chops, with the engine working system using a diesel-fueled dynamo.

Abstract

This study evaluates the performance of PT. XYZ, a prominent ready-mix concrete company in Toba Regency, North Sumatra, Indonesia, from 2018 to 2022. Utilizing a descriptive and quantitative research approach, data were gathered through document analysis, questionnaires, and interviews. The findings reveal significant financial weaknesses, particularly in the total asset turnover, return on investment (ROI), and debt-to-asset ratios. However, the company demonstrates strong performance in customer satisfaction, internal business processes, and learning and growth dimensions. Employing the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework, this research assesses these four perspectives and highlights the critical importance of the learning and growth perspective for strategic development. Through the integration of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), the study identifies the enhancement of information systems as a key strategic goal. This approach not only provides a comprehensive evaluation of PT. XYZ's performance over the five-year period but also offers targeted recommendations for future business development and sustainable growth.

Abstract

Perbedaan harga di berbagai daerah menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab terjadinya fenomena fluktuasi harga yang memicu terjadinya inflasi dalam skala nasional. Perubahan harga suatu komoditas memungkinkan akan menyebabkan terjadi perubahan harga pada barang substitusi atau komplementer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan harga antar komoditas hortikultura yang terjadi pada beberapa kota di Sumatera Utara . Penelitian dilaksanakan di lima kota di Sumatera Utara yang meliputi Kota Gunungsitoli, Medan, Padang Sidempuan, Pematang Siantar, dan Sibolga. Data sekunder berupa data harga mingguan komoditas bawang merah, bawang putih, cabai merah, dan cabai rawit diperoleh dari Pusat Informasi Harga Pangan Strategis Nasional periode Bulan Januari 2021 – Februari 2023. Uji Kausalitas Granger digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan timbal balik harga antar komoditas dan pasar. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa komoditas bawang merah merupakan salah satu komoditas yang memberikan pengaruh terhadap komoditas lainnya. Jika ditinjau pada pengaruh komoditas antar kota, maka komoditas bawang merah di kota Medan, Pematang Siantar, dan Gunungsitoli memberikan pengaruh terhadap harga bawang merah pada kota yang lainnya. Sementara itu, untuk komoditas bawang putih, kota Padang Sidempuan mempengaruhi harga pasar di daerah lainnya. Kota Medan menjadi pasar yang penting untuk komoditas cabai merah, utamanya terkait dengan harga yang ditawarkan.
