Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach with quasi-experimental research. This study aims to 1) examine the effect of applying the REACT learning model on students' analytical thinking skills in terms of Intelligence Quotient (IQ) in class XI IPA. 2) Assess the effect of the application of the REACT learning model on students' learning interest in terms of IQ in class XI IPA. 3) Assessing the effect of the interaction of learning models and Intelligence Quotient (IQ) on students' analytical thinking skills in class XI IPA. 4) Assessing the effect of the interaction of learning models and Intelligence Quotient (IQ) on students' learning interest in class XI IPA. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA SMA Islam Dian Didaktika Cinere Depok, samples were taken from two classes XI IPA with Cluster Random Sampling, while the design used was treatment by level design. The results show that 1) There is an effect of the application of the learning model on students' analytical abilities 2) There is no effect of the application of the REACT learning model on students' learning interest between the experimental and control groups. 3) There is an interaction between the REACT and Intelligence Quotient (IQ) learning models on students' analytical thinking skills. 4) There is no interaction between learning models and Intelligence Quotient (IQ) on students' learning interest.

Abstract

The integration of digital technology into school learning processes has become a significant trend, with e-modules emerging as an essential form of digital learning resources. This study aims to identify research trends related to the use of e-modules in mathematics education at schools. A bibliometric analysis was employed, involving the mapping of research trends through metadata analysis. This study applied a systematic quantitative method, with metadata retrieved from Scopus and Google Scholar databases using the Publish or Perish software, and further analyzed using VOSviewer. The findings, based on Scopus and Google Scholar data, reveal that research on e-modules in mathematics learning is largely dominated by the ADDIE model, with most applications occurring at the secondary school level. However, relatively few studies have focused on 21st-century skills. The most recent research topics on e-modules in mathematics education, as reflected in keyword trends, include interactive e-modules, realistic mathematics education, ethnomathematics, and mathematical literacy. In contrast, areas such as computational thinking, mathematical reasoning, mathematical literacy, augmented reality (AR), artificial intelligence (AI), game-based learning, and higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) remain underexplored. These gaps indicate broad opportunities for future research on the use of e-modules in mathematics learning

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of integrated mathematics learning media based on E-Comics with the Group Investigation learning model in improving mathematics retention and learning outcomes of junior high school students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product developed is a learning tool consisting of a syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets (LKPD), mathematics e-comics, and a mathematical ability representation test. The subjects of this study were seventh-grade students of SMP Darul Ma'arif Indramayu NU in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, observations of learning implementation, and pretests and posttests. The results of the study indicate that the mathematics media based on the Group Investigation E-comics was declared very valid by experts in terms of material, media, and language with an average value above 88%. The media was also declared practical and a good learning implementation based on positive student responses. After being tested for its effectiveness, the mathematics e-comics were able to improve students' resilience in mathematics by increasing perseverance, motivation, and positive attitudes in solving mathematical problems. The contribution of this study is to make learning more effective, especially for materials that are considered boring or complex for students. Thus, the mathematics learning media based on the Group Investigation E-comics model is worthy of being used as an innovative alternative in junior high school mathematics learning.
