Abstract

Our daily activities are always filled with information. One of the sources of information is we get through learning. Furniture to support learning activities at home, including tables, chairs, bookshelves, etc. We need a place as comfortable as possible to study, especially at home. Currently, one solution for those who still want to live in big cities is to buy a small residential unit that must be sufficient to live with their family. In this article, we will discuss a study table placed in a narrow space. The multipurpose table design will be studied as a solution that serves to support learning activities in limited spaces. This is important because no matter how small we live, the factor of comfort when studying should not be abandoned. The author will use a phenomenological approach that involves all the five senses in observing the study table. The author will provide a description of the experiences experienced while researching the "Easy Side Table". The data analyzed will be sourced from field surveys, literature data collection, and interviews. The research results are expected to provide suggestions or recommendations for the "Easy Side Table" furniture design. Hopefully its function in the future will be even better and other functions can be added as a support for a desk.

Abstract

The main problem in literacy faced by SD Pusaka Rakyat 02 is the absence of library space and limited reading books owned by the school. The purpose of this activity is to provide digital library management assistance to strengthen literacy and overcome the absence of physical library space. The methods used in this activity include interviews, observations, discussions, presentations, questions and answers, and simulations. The result of this activity is that the teachers can manage the digital library well and gain experience in literacy, especially digital literacy. In addition, digital libraries can also support the learning process in the classroom, motivate students to read a variety of books, and support literacy activities in elementary schools.
