Abstract

The concept of work-life balance has become increasingly popular in recent years. The demands of dedicating oneself to work, managing household responsibilities, and fulfilling non-work obligations have led many modern workers to adopt work-life balance strategies to harmonize their professional and personal lives. This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance on job satisfaction among female employees at Pitoe Cigarette Factory, Trenggalek. The research employed a simple linear regression analysis method, using data collected from questionnaires completed by 95 female employees as samples. The results of the simple linear regression test indicated a positive relationship between work-life balance and job satisfaction, with a p-value of 0.000, which is less than the significance threshold of 0.05. This finding demonstrates that improved work-life balance can contribute to increased job satisfaction among female employees. The coefficient of determination (R²) was found to be 0.413, indicating that 41.3% of the variation in job satisfaction is explained by work-life balance. Furthermore, the study revealed that both work-life balance and job satisfaction levels were categorized as moderate, suggesting the need for greater attention to managing the balance between work and personal life. These findings are expected to provide insights for Pitoe Cigarette Factory management and other companies in designing policies that support work-life balance, ultimately enhancing job satisfaction and productivity among female employees.

Abstract

Human Resource (HR) management is one of the most important factors in determining organizational success. One of them is a broadcasting organization. This research aims to identify the HR management process in broadcasting organizations and find implementation strategies. This type of research uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. This research uses purposive sampling data collection techniques with five participants at the SATU TV broadcasting organization with the following characteristics: first, the participant must be an organizer and currently serving in one of the broadcasting organizations, the second must have experience in being a producer or in leading the program, on the organization. The data collection instrument used was interviewed. The research results reveal the process of HR management in broadcasting organizations as follows: 1) division of tasks and authority, 2) becoming a forum for talents and interests, 3) established communication, 4) HR development, and 5) evaluation. The strategies carried out in the management process are as follows: 1) there are challenges to finding solutions for, 2) approach the crew, 3) overcome boredom with holidays, and 4) empower seniors in the production process if they experience difficulties. The results of this research can help organizational producers in the broadcasting sector manage HR.

Abstract

Mahasiswa rantau kerap menghadapi tantangan multidimensi, seperti akademik, psikologis, dan sosial selama masa studi. Dalam konteks ini, resiliensi akademik menjadi salah satu faktor penting yang mendukung kemampuan mereka untuk tetap bertahan dan mencapai prestasi optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi resiliensi akademik mahasiswa rantau. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) berdasarkan protokol PRISMA. Awalnya, 159 naskah yang terindks Google Scholar berdasarkan kata kunci tertentu, dan melalui proses seleksi bertahap sesuai kriteria inklusi-eksklusi, diperoleh enam artikel sebagai fokus analisis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa resiliensi akademik mahasiswa rantau dipengaruhi oleh dukungan sosial (keluarga, teman, komunitas, lingkungan akademik), aspirasi akademik, dan kecerdasan spiritual. Sebagian besar mahasiswa rantau memiliki resiliensi akademik tinggi (>70%), terutama pada aspek ketekunan. Meskipun dukungan sosial memberikan kontribusi signifikan (31–41%), faktor seperti regulasi diri, optimisme, dan lingkungan belajar juga turut memengaruhi. Temuan ini dapat menjadi dasar dalam pengembangan program pendampingan akademik dan pembinaan psikososial bagi mahasiswa rantau di perguruan tinggi.
