Abstract

The development of the number of motorized vehicles in Indonesia is increasing rapidly each year, most motorized vehicles produce bad exhaust emissions, either due to inadequate maintenance or bad driver behavior. Air pollution that has occurred so far is largely due to the presence of motorized vehicles as a means of transportation. Most of the air pollution is caused by motor vehicle emissions. Motor vehicles emit harmful gases which can have a negative impact on both human health and the environment. As for the problems that occur that we often encounter, one of them is the process of replacing spark plugs where these spark plugs are part of the engine component, which, if the maintenance process is neglected, will have an impact on exhaust emissions, one of the causes of the process of adjusting the spark plug electrode gap. The process of this research is to design data collection through Experiments with Optimization of Adjustment of the spark plug electrode gap on the matic vario 125 motorcycle vehicle in 2014. Then the results of the adjustment are known to be different from the adjustment of the spark plug gap with lower exhaust emissions of CO and HC levels. This study uses Perthalite type fuel, then adjusts the spark plug gap 0.20 mm, until the adjustment process is 1.40 mm at 900 rpm, 2000 rpm and 2100 rpm rotation, the engine with the aim of knowing the characteristics of the exhaust gas that comes out of the vehicle into the environment . Based on the results of this study where the CO and HC values were the best at setting the spark plug gap of 0.60 mm with CO 1.77% and HC 360 ppm at 900 rpm and CO 0.11% and HC 74 ppm at 2000 rpm and 2100 rpm rotation.

Abstract

Pancasila, as the foundation of the Indonesian state, consists of five principles that serve as fundamental guidelines for national and civic life. The values of Pancasila not only reflect moral foundations but are also implemented in various aspects of society. One example is the tradition of celebrating the Maulid of Prophet Muhammad SAW in Karang Pule, Sekarbela. This study aims to explore the implementation of Pancasila values in the Maulid tradition within the local community, using a qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that this tradition reflects each of the Pancasila principles: (1) Belief in One God, through the recitation of Barzanji and bequris activities that strengthen spirituality; (2) Just and Civilized Humanity, through food sharing and fostering social relationships; (3) Unity of Indonesia, through competitions that involve the entire community, strengthening togetherness amidst diversity; (4) Democracy Guided by the Wisdom of Deliberation/Representation, reflected in the discussions for fundraising and task division; and (5) Social Justice for All Indonesian People, realized through providing assistance to the poor and orphans. The Maulid tradition in Karang Pule not only strengthens religious identity but also fosters harmony between religious and national values. This research highlights the importance of local traditions in building community solidarity and implementing Pancasila values in daily life.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of regional autonomy implementation in village governance in relation to public service delivery in Sandik Village, Batulayar Subdistrict, West Lombok Regency. Regional autonomy grants the village authority to manage governance and public services that align with the needs of the local community. Sandik Village has implemented various public service programs, including administrative, health, education, literacy, and socio-economic development services, with the goal of improving community welfare. The research method used is qualitative, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of regional autonomy has had a positive impact on the quality of public services in various sectors, particularly in access to health and education. Additionally, the people of Sandik Village are able to participate in policy-making and oversight of village government performance. Regional autonomy implementation also allows village officials to take on greater responsibility in managing the village budget in a transparent and accountable manner. This study is expected to contribute to more effective policy formulation and raise public awareness to actively participate in village governance.

Abstract

Delay in patient treatment in hospitals often occurs due to the limitations of conventional emergency communication systems such as manual bells or hard buttons, which are difficult for patients with physical disabilities to use. This study aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based emergency alarm system using an ESP32 microcontroller with a capacitive touch sensor as input, and realtime notification via the Telegram application. The research method applied is Rapid Application Development (RAD) with a prototyping approach. The designed system activates a local buzzer and automatically sends notifications to nurses through a Telegram Bot. Test results indicate that the system works properly, sends notifications quickly, and is easy to operate without special technical training. This system is expected to improve medical staff responsiveness to patient emergencies and enhance healthcare service quality.
