Abstract

As a part of sharia bank, BPRS Harta Insan Karimah plays an important role in empowering muslims and small and medium enterprises in rural areas. In playing its rule, the bank has to show the power of its employees especially in their religiosity and quality of work. This quantitative research is aimed at identifying the present existing data on their religiosity and quality of work and measuring the impact of their religiosity on their quality of work. The primary data is collected from the respondents’ responses to the statements of their religiosity as the independent variable and their quality of work as the dependent variable in the form of Likert scale options provided in the questionnaire. After going through the tests of validity, reliability, normality, and linearity, the data is processed to the regression analysis with SPSS 25. The results show that the religiosity as the independent variable has the positive impact on the quality of work as the dependent variable with the value of 12,8 %. This value is relatively small due to the fact that the research only uses one independent variable.

Abstract

The research is aimed at measuring the impact of earning (X1), knowledge on zakat (X2) on the awareness of the zakat payer in implementing zakat of profession. The method used is quantitative with the use of the questionnaire. The number of the respondents is 55 zakat payers. The technique to take samples is purposive sampling, with the use of regression statistics to accommodate the awareness of zakat as dependent variable (Y), the earning (x1), and the knowledge on zakat (X2). Multiple linear regression is used to test the impact of the two independent variables on the dependent variables partially and wholly by applying the software of SPSS 26. The results show that only the knowledge on zakat partially has a positive impact in paying zakat of profession. The earning (X1) partially doesn’t give the impact on the paying of zakat of profession. However, the two independent variables wholly have the impact on the dependent variable.

Abstract

The research is aimed at evaluating the lecturer performance in teaching the methodology of Islamic economics based on the students’ observation during the online course as the effect of COVID 19. The measurement of the performance refers to the concept of satisfaction related to the educational service by comparing the performance to the expectation adopted from Parasunaman’s five quality dimension: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The data is collected from the questionnaire. The descriptive quantitative research is used to map the strengths and weaknesses in four classifications: first, what aspects a lecturer should prioritize because the lecturer performance is low and the student expectation is high; second, what aspects a lecturer should maintain because the lecturer performance is in line with the student expectation; third, what aspects a lecturer should maintain but think again about weighting them because the lecturer performance is low and the student expectation is also low; fourth, what aspects a lecturer should reduce their emphasis because the lecturer performance is high but the student expectation is low. The result shows that with the four classification the lecturer performance related to the service quality can be managed well.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explain the effect of Halal Certification, Brand Image and Price on the purchasing decision process of students to brand of Tea Bottles “Sosro” (Case Study at Islamic Village Higher Education). This research used quantitative methode. The population in this study were students who had or frequently consumed Sosro Bottle Tea products. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 87 respondents. This research used multiple linear regression analysis method, with SPSS 25 software.The results showed that the Halal Certification and Brand Image had a positive and significant effect on the decision to buy “Sosro” tea bottles for Islamic Village Higher Education students, while the price had a positive and insignificant effect on the decision to purchase Teh Botol Sosro for Islamic Village Higher Education students, as well as certification. halal, Brand Image and Price simultaneously influenced the Purchase Decision of Sosro Bottled Tea Drink.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to see the impact of the price, product quality, and brand image on the decision to buy “Minoso” bag in Shopee among students of STES Islamic Village. The research uses three independent variables: price (X1), quality product (X2), and brand image (X3) and one dependent variable: decision to buy (Y). The population are the students of four said institutions.  With the purposive samping, there are 90 respondents. This research applies the descriptive quantitative method with multiple linear regression to test the impact of three independent variables observed on the only one dependent variable observed. To support the data analysis, the research makes the best use of SPSS 26 for windows. The research results show that partially X1 (price) and X2 (quality product) do not influence Y (the decision to buy) significantly while the brand image influences Y significantly.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the level of English competence the students of the seventh semester at STES Islamic Village Tangerang in the academic year of 2018-2019. The instrument of this research is TOEFL paper-based test called TOEFL Prediction. The result of this research showed out of forty students only one student (2.5 %) achieved the minimum score required by the institution. Most of them (97.5 %) could not reach the minimum score. Although this is still the initial step to manage English competence as a competitive advantage for STES Islamic Village Tangerang. The research result will lead to the necessity of follow-up research to do so..

Abstract

The concept of student satisfaction is too broad covering facilities, lecturers, and others. This paper focuses only on managing the lecturer’s performance based on student satisfaction towards what normally a lecturer has done in teaching. The research is aimed at evaluating the lecturer performance in teaching English 2 based on the students’ observation during the online course as the effect of COVID 19. The collected data from the questionnaire provided for the students is analyzed by using Importance-Performance Grid. The results reveal that the weakness and strength areas of the lecturer can be mapped in four classifications: first, what the lecturer should improve because the lecturer’s performance perceived by the students is in the low level and the students’ expectation is in the high level; second, what the lecturer should maintain or keep going because the lecturer’s performance and the students’ expectation at the same time are in the high level; third, what the lecturer should maintain but think about the weighting of it because the lecturer’s performance is in the low level and the students’ expectation is also in the low level;  fourth, what the lecturer should reduce the emphasis if possible because the lecturer’s performance is in the high level and the students’ expectation is in the low level. This research is one of the first attempts to explore what the lecturer can do to improve the performance accordingly in measurable and manageable way by the lecturer himself/herself.

Abstract

Lecturers play a very significant role in education. Managing their performance can give good impacts to the quality of teaching processes and outcomes. There are actually many approaches to manage their performance. One of the approaches worth considering is students’ feedback combined with the marketing concept of ‘customer satisfaction’ since students can be considered customers. Abstract

The rapid population growth in Panongan, a subdistrict within Tangerang Regency, has surpassed regional averages, with rates of 6.5%, 3.4%, and 2.7% for Panongan, Tangerang Regency, and Banten Province respectively. This demographic surge presents challenges in terms of economic, social, and population-related issues while also offering avenues for market expansion and novel economic prospects. This study aimed to elucidate the application of Islamic value-based empowerment for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the community engagement program executed by the Faculty of Economics and Business Islam at the University of Cendekia Abditama Tangerang. The program was designed to assist 20 MSMEs in Panongan Subdistrict. Employing Participatory Action Research (PAR), which emphasizes collaboration between researchers and the targeted MSME communities, this study investigated the effects of Islamic value-based empowerment on business aspects. The findings revealedthat this approach enhances Islamic value-based empowerment on the economic aspect, business ethics aspect, marketing aspect, packaging design, bookkeeping, legal aspects, and fiqh muamalah aspect among MSMEs. This empowerment has consequently created extensive prospects for business expansion, contributing to increased prosperity.

Abstract

Abstract Based on Law Number 33 of 2014 concerning Halal Product Guarantees, BPJPH is the institution that has the authority to carry out Halal Certification in Indonesia. Halal Certification is an acknowledgment of the halalness of a product. One of the programs offered by BPJPH is Free Halal Certification (Self Declare) for MSMEs in Indonesia. This service aims to provide assistance with Free Halal Certification (Self Declare) for MSME players of the Rorese (Rosella Flower) healthy drink product typical of Serdang Kulon Village, Panongan District, Tangerang Regency. Halal Certification assistance is carried out to provide halal certainty for Rorese's healthy drink products and improve product quality and added value to Rorese's healthy drink products. Products that have been certified halal are one of the marketing strategies to increase sales in the global market, not just locally. This service method uses the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method, which is a method that involves many parties related to assisting Halal Certification for MSMEs in Rorese healthy drink products, Serdang Kulon Village, Panongan District, Tangerang Regency. Assistance with Halal Certification for MSMEs of Rorese healthy drink products is carried out by first creating a NIB (business identification number) with KBLI 11040 Soft Drink Industry, then continuing with registering Rorese healthy drink products on the SiHalal website-based application https://ptsp.halal.go. id/login. In the registration process on the SiHalal application, what is done in the service is preparing a business actor profile, product photos with complete packaging, filling in the SJPH, several raw materials used, production processes, and so on. This dedication produces Rorese healthy drink products which are certified halal by BPJPH and have an NIB (business identification number) so that MSMEs who produce Rorese healthy drink products typical of Serdang Kulon Village can be assured of their halal status and improve product quality and added value to Rorese healthy drink products so that they can be made wrong. a marketing strategy to increase sales in the global market both offline and online. Abstrak Berdasarkan UU Nomor 33 tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal, BPJPH merupakan lembaga yang berwenang menyelenggarakan Sertifikasi Halal di Indonesia. Sertifikasi Halal merupakan pengakuan kehalalan suatu produk. Salah satu program yang ditawarkan oleh BPJPH adalah Sertifikasi Halal Gratis (Self Declare) untuk pelaku UMKM di Indonesia. Pengabdian ini bertujuan melakukan pendampingan Sertifikasi Halal Gratis (Self Declare) bagi pelaku UMKM produk minuman sehat Rorese (Bunga Rosela) khas Desa Serdang Kulon, Kecamatan Panongan Kabupaten Tangerang. Pendampingan Sertifikasi Halal dilakukan untuk memberikan kepastian kehalalan pada produk minuman sehat Rorese dan meningkatkan kualitas produk dan nilai tambah (add value) pada produk minuman sehat Rorese. Produk yang telah tersertifikasi halal menjadi salah satu strategi marketing untuk dapat meningkatkan penjualan pada pasar global bukan saja lokal. Metode pengabdian ini menggunakan metode PAR (Participatory Action Research), yaitu metode yang melibatkan banyak pihak yang berkaitan dengan pendampingan Sertifikasi Halal pada pelaku UMKM produk minuman sehat Rorese Desa Serdang Kulon, Kecamatan Panongan Kabupaten Tangerang. Pendampingan Sertifikasi Halal pada pelaku UMKM produk minuman sehat Rorese dilakukan dengan pembuatan NIB (nomor induk berusaha) terlebih dahulu dengan KBLI 11040 Industri Minuman Ringan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan mendaftarkan produk minuman sehat Rorese pada aplikasi berbasis website SiHalal https://ptsp.halal.go.id/login. Dalam proses pendaftaran pada aplikasi SiHalal, yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian adalah menyiapkan profile pelaku usaha, foto produk dengan kemasan lengkap, pengisian SJPH, beberapa bahan baku yang digunakan, proses produksi, dan lain sebagainya. Pengabdian ini menghasilkan produk minuman sehat Rorese yang tersertifikasi halal oleh BPJPH dan memiliki NIB (nomor induk berusaha) sehingga pelaku UMKM produk minuman sehat Rorese khas Desa Serdang Kulon dapat dipastikan kehalalannya dan meningkatkan kualitas produk dan nilai tambah pada produk minuman sehat Rorese sehingga dapat menjadi salah satu strategi marketing dalam meningkatkan penjualan pada pasar global baik secara offline maupun online.
