Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pemahaman siswa yang berlatar belakang pondokpesantren dalam menghubungkan konsep fisika dan Al-Qur’an. Sebanyak 40 siswa madrasah aliyahyang terdiri dari 16 siswa laki-laki dan 24 siswa perempuan kelas XI di salah satu pondok pesantrendi Pati dijadikan sampel. Pengambilan data menggunakan tes pilihan ganda dengan satu jawabanterbuka dan alasan memilih jawaban. Tes ini berisi 2 premis yaitu terkait konsep fisika dan ayat AlQur’an dan disusun berdasarkan literatur. Selain itu, wawancara dibutuhkan untuk memperkuat data.Kemudian data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan teknik Miles dan Huberman. Hasil yang diperolehadalah pemahaman siswa dalam menghubungkan konsep fisika dan ayat Al-Qur’an terdapat empattipe yaitu: 1) bertolak belakang, 2) tidak berhubungan, 3) berhubungan secara tersirat, dan 4)berhubungan secara jelas. Pemahaman siswa yang menganggap sains dan Al-Qur’an bertolakbelakang dan tidak berhubungan dipengaruhi oleh sains lebih bersifat duniawi dan Al-Qur’an bersifatakhirati. Yang dominan salah satu diantaranya akan memiliki pemahaman “bertolak belakang”,sedangkan yang tidak membandingkan keduanya akan memiliki pemahaman “tidak berhubungan”.Untuk pemahaman siswa yang menganggap sains dan Al-Qur’an berhubungan secara tersiratdipengaruhi oleh keterkaitan secara bahasa sedangkan yang “berhubungan secara jelas”, dipengaruhioleh kuatnya doktrin dari guru/orang tua. Namun, pemahaman yang paling dominan di pondokpesantren adalah “berhubungan secara tersira"

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media in the form of bio batteries from fruit peel waste based on the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach to improve science students' practical skills. The study used the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The products developed were bio battery kits and STEM-based Student Worksheets (LKPD). The validation results showed that the developed media obtained a score of 92% from material experts and 96% from media experts. The trial was conducted on 32 grade VIII students with a pretest-posttest. The results showed an increase in the average score from 64.21 to 81.40 with a significance of 0.000 (p <0.05). Bio batteries from orange and pineapple peels produced the highest voltage and were able to turn on an analog wall clock. The response of students and teachers to the product was very positive. The STEM approach encouraged students to be more active in experiments.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Pop-Up Book learning media based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) as a creative solution to improve students’ conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills in the topic of the Solar System. The research is driven by the issue of low student engagement and interest due to conventional, theory-based science teaching, particularly in abstract materials. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D development model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The instruments used include expert validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires, observation sheets, as well as pre-test and post-test assessments. The results revealed that the Pop-Up Book based on PjBL has high validity in terms of content and design, received positive feedback from teachers and students, and effectively enhanced student comprehension, as reflected in improved post-test scores. Moreover, the media fostered active participation and collaborative learning among students. Although the dissemination phase was not conducted due to limited time and resources, the trial phase showed that the media is feasible and holds potential for broader implementation. Therefore, the PjBL-based Pop-Up Book can serve as an innovative alternative to enhance the quality of science learning at the junior high school level.

Abstract

This study aims to develop STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)-based science learning devices that are oriented towards improving students' creative thinking skills. The research method used is the ADDIE development model which includes five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects in this study were teachers and students of class VIIA MTs NU Nurussalam. At the analysis stage, data was obtained regarding teachers' needs for STEM-based learning devices that are integrated with simple learning KITs based on inorganic waste. At the design stage, learning devices were compiled including teaching modules, LKPD, evaluation questions, and KIT Gecoseed (Gardening with Ecoseedling), which uses used bottles and simple planting media. This device also integrates the context of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) goal 15, namely maintaining terrestrial ecosystems. Implementation is carried out through socialization activities and implementation of learning in the classroom. Evaluation is carried out through questionnaires to teachers and students. The results showed that the STEM-based learning device was well received, with 93% of teachers stating that the device was easy to implement and 87% of students stating that learning was fun and motivated them to think creatively. In addition, students' creative thinking skills increased after learning as indicated by the N-Gain Score of 0.7 with a high category. This study concludes that the STEM-based learning device developed is effective in increasing students' engagement and creative thinking skills, and is relevant to be applied in science learning at the madrasah level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterkaitan antara konsep-konsep biologi dalam soal Kompetisi Sains Madrasah (KSM) dengan perspektif penciptaan dalam Islam berdasarkan Al-Qur’an dan Hadis. Kajian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif terhadap sejumlah soal KSM yang secara eksplisit atau implisit memuat unsur biologis dan dikaitkan dengan ayat atau hadis yang relevan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kesesuaian yang signifikan antara teori biologi modern dengan konsep penciptaan dalam ajaran Islam, seperti asal-usul kehidupan dari air, embriologi manusia, fotosintesis dan fertilisasi tumbuhan, serta anatomi sistem saraf. Ayat-ayat seperti QS. Al-Anbiya’: 30, An-Nur: 45, Al-Mu’minun: 14, dan An-Nisa’: 56 menjadi dasar teologis yang memperkuat pengetahuan ilmiah. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa soal-soal KSM tidak hanya menguji kemampuan akademik siswa, tetapi juga mengintegrasikan sains dan keimanan secara harmonis. Hal ini menunjukkan pentingnya pendidikan berbasis integrasi ilmu dan agama dalam membentuk generasi yang tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual, tetapi juga memiliki fondasi spiritual yang kuat.
