Abstract

This research aims to find out how character is formed through canteen services at SDN Slendro 1. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type because this research only describes and describes the character of students who are formed through the canteen. Data sources were obtained from canteen keepers, high school teachers, and school principals. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, interviews and data analysis techniques carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions from research results. The conclusion of this research shows that 90% of students at SDN Slendro 1 have succeeded in forming character through canteen services. This is proven by the formation of a disciplined character that can be seen when it is not break time, the canteen guard will not serve students who want to buy food or drinks in the canteen, apart from that, the honest character is also applied when paying in the canteen. Students are orderly queuing to pay and no one takes it. without paying even though they have to wait, another character that is formed is responsibility which can be seen by students obeying the existing rules, namely by not forcing them to buy food or drinks when it is not break time.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze cross-cultural education strategies in fostering multicultural awareness among junior high school students from the perspective of Legal and Citizenship Education. This study uses a qualitative library research approach, reviewing various scientific literature, accredited journals, and relevant educational policy documents. Data were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed using the Miles & Huberman model of thematic analysis. The results of the study indicate three main themes: (1) the integration of multicultural values ​​in PPKn learning, (2) cross-cultural dialogue as a means of internalizing values, and (3) inclusive school culture and multicultural leadership as a foundation for strengthening national character. These findings confirm that cross-cultural education contributes to the formation of legal and social awareness among students, while expanding the function of PPKn as an instrument of democratic character education. This study recommends the integration of cross-cultural strategies in the national education curriculum and policy.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis inovasi pengembangan profesionalisme guru PAI melalui pendekatan teacherpreneurship dan community of practice sebagai strategi peningkatan kompetensi yang berkelanjutan. Teacherpreneurship menempatkan guru sebagai pendidik, inovator, dan agen perubahan yang mampu menciptakan berbagai terobosan dalam pembelajaran serta pemberdayaan masyarakat. Sementara itu, community of practice menjadi wadah kolaboratif bagi guru untuk berbagi pengalaman, mengembangkan kompetensi, dan membangun budaya belajar profesional. Melalui pendekatan kajian pustaka, artikel ini menemukan bahwa integrasi teacherpreneurship dan community of practice dapat memperkuat kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian guru PAI. Selain itu, kedua pendekatan tersebut mendukung pengembangan pembelajaran PAI yang humanis, inklusif, dan pluralis sesuai dengan arah pembaharuan pendidikan Islam serta kebutuhan masyarakat multikultural. Oleh karena itu, penguatan teacherpreneurship dan community of practice perlu menjadi bagian penting dalam kebijakan pengembangan profesionalisme guru PAI di era transformasi digital dan transformasi pendidikan secara menyeluruh. Dengan demikian, guru PAI tidak hanya berperan sebagai pengajar konvensional, melainkan juga sebagai pemimpin pembelajaran yang kreatif, inovatif, dan mampu membawa dampak positif bagi lingkungan sekolah serta masyarakat luas demi mewujudkan generasi emas yang berkarakter kokoh.
