Abstract

ABSTRACT   Sierra Leone has sufferred food crisis after the 12-year of civil war, which devastated all existing infrastructures in that country including their most prominent agriculture infrastructures. World Food Programme (WFP) has worked with Sierra Leone government since 1968 in handling their food insecurity problems. WFP programmes were launched in the form of nutritional aid to mothers and children, improving access to food, market, and social services. The aim of this research is to describe the WFP aids in handling the food insecurity problems in Sierra Leone which categorized as fragile state. This research will be studied with concepts of international organization, fragile state, food insecurity, and humanitarian aid, from 2005 until 2013. Abstract

ABSTRAK Education is one of the rights that are required for children. Nigeria is one country with the state of their children's education are still below the average standards are set by the government, particularly in school education. International organizations such as UNICEF to focus on children and women have an international program to help advance the fulfillment of child rights. This study aims to describe the role of UNICEF in an effort to help promote the realization of children's right to education in Nigeria. This study will be discussed using the theory and concept of the role of international organizations, development intervention, education, and the rights of children by the time span from 2002 to 2007 which is a vulnerable time education program in Nigeria. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to answer research question about the role of United Nations Development Programme to eradicated poverty on Tamil ethnic. The aspect of poverty eradication is seen from peace building viewpoint. This research uses qualitative method to analysis data. All data source from this research is secondary source that got mainly from news, book, and e-book. The finding of this research is the role of poverty eradication that UNDP was implemented using people centered-development approach. Besides that UNDP is also prioritize gender empowerment in every aspect of their programs. Overall the program that UNDP has done is quite success to eradicated poverty but this program was less successful in addressing the root of discrimination. Abstract

Today's deeds of terrorism are difficult to get rid of with the notion of radicalism which threatens state security. The tragedy of the Bali Bombing 1 in 2002 and 2 in 2005, sparked public concern that made the government must be more profound in strengthening the strict flow of entrances in every area, such as airports, terminals, and ports. This study aims to explain how the strategic security measures carried out by the Regional Government, especially Jembrana Regency as the owner of Gilimanuk Port access, which is directly adjacent to the island of Java, to overcome the entry of the threat of terrorism into Bali. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a human security framework. This research obtained an answer through a series of measures such as a series of policies in terms of legal instruments, a series of socialization in terms of a grass-roots approach, and formulating policies for the formation of a Conflict Team and the formation of an Early Awareness Team (Wasdin) equipped with a regional Wasdin Team and The Integrated Team for Handling Social Conflict. Furthermore, the Jembrana Regency Government is said to have been relatively good in foreseeing and overseeing terrorism issues in Bali, primarily in Gilimanuk Port.
