Abstract

Occupational health and safety is one of the necessary things in the industrial world. Health conditions and the availability of employee safety protections can affect work productivity. safety culture in the workplace can be realized and can increase the safety performance index, an approach was implemented form of methods that can be applied to all organizations, one of which is behavior-based safety methods. The analysis of data obtained shows the factors cause work accidents due to behavior are taken from the validity of perception, communication and environment because these three factors are very easily ignored by employees and company management. Environmental factors and personal protective equipment have no effect on work accidents as always provides periodic education to its employees and enforces strict rules on the use of personal protective equipment. The magnitude of the influence of the variables studied in Behavior-Based safety in an effort to improve safe condition was 79.7% and the remaining 20.3% was influenced by other unexamined items. The value of 79.7% consists of perception, communication and environment.

Abstract

Data Badan Pusat Statistik tahun 2018 menunjukkan bahwa saat ini lulusan SMK menempati posisi pertama Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT) atau yang tertinggi dibanding tingkat pendidikan yang lain yaitu sebesar 11,24 persen. Salah satu kendala mengapa lulusan SMK masih banyak yang menganggur adalah kompetensi lulusan yang belum sesuai dengan yang diinginkan oleh Dunia Usaha Dunia Industri (DU/DI). Peningkatan kompetensi lulusan sangat berkaitan erat dengan kondisi tenaga pendidik. Penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi kriteria yang diperlukan untuk menjadi seorang guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) yang kompeten. Dengan menggunakan metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) dihasilkan Kriteria kompetensi sosial memiliki nilai bobot 0,61 lebih tinggi dibanding tiga kompetensi lainnya dengan dengan sub kompetensi yang paling tinggi adalah S1 yaitu Mampu berkomunikasi dan bergaul secara efektif dengan peserta didik memiliki nilai bobot 0,41
