<![CDATA[AbstrakPeningkatan presentase penduduk miskin di Indonesia sebesar 0.41% menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi pemerintah, terutama dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan di bidang pendidikan. Kondisi pendidikan di penduduk menengah ke bawah masih memprihatinkan, sehingga memunculkan adanya harapan untuk pendidikan tidak terputus bagi seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Bantuan biaya pendidikan diharapkan dapat membantu pengalokasian biaya pendidikan baik secara langsung maupun tak langsung yang memberi dampak pada motivasi peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis efektifitas bantuan PIP terhadap motivasi peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 40 Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara dan kuisioner dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 23 responden. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dengan menggunakan bantuan software SPSS for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa efektivitas bantuan PIP sebesar 67,5%. Efektifitas bantuin PIP berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 40 Kota Bandung. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. Data collection by means of interviews and questionnaires with a total sample of 23 respondents. The data were then analyzed using simple regression analysis using SPSS for Windows software. The results showed that the effectiveness of PIP assistance was 67.5%.
