Abstract

The Covid-19 outbreak initially had an impact on public health and began to penetrate the economy. Almost all industries were affected which caused many layoffs to occur. The cosmetic industry has become an anomaly, the Ministry of Industry pointed out, there has been an increase in online transactions for cosmetic products by up to 80 percent during this pandemic. This study aims to analyze several variables that can increase actual purchases during the Covid-19 pandemic on halal cosmetic products. Several variables that are thought to influence the actual purchase are perceived behavioral control, attitudes, and purchase intentions. This study uses a quantitative method with a population of young adult consumers who use cosmetics in Indonesia, with a sample of 400 respondents, with non-probability quota sampling, and a questionnaire with 14 question indicators. The data analysis used is SEM-PLS analysis using SmartPLS 3.3.3. The results show that the perceived behavioral and attitude control variables affect purchase intention, while the subjective norm variable does not affect purchase intention. Purchase intention has a significant effect on actual purchases during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of this study show that the perceived behavioral and attitude control variables have a significant effect on purchase intention, while the subjective norm variable does not affect purchase intention. This study also shows that purchase intention has a significant influence on actual purchases during the Covid-19 pandemic. Abstract

In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic and how to handle it colored the development of the global economy. Millions of people have died and some are now out of work after being laid off. The pandemic has reduced world consumption, production, investment, and trade activities. The government and regulators side adjusting the benchmark interest rate and issuing relaxation and restructuring rules to prevent a bigger impact and encourage economic recovery. Using descriptive qualitative methods, this study tries to explore the business strategies implemented by five Islamic commercial banks with the largest assets, namely Bank Syariah Mandiri, Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah, Bank Nasional Indonesia Syariah, Bank Muamalat Indonesia, and Bank Aceh Syariah. all Islamic commercial banks optimize the digitization of services, both financing and fundraising. Focus on low-cost funds and conduct temporarily credit relaxation and restructuring for debtors who are experiencing financial difficulties due to the pandemic

Abstract

Permintaan produk halal semakin meningkat di seluruh dunia, baik dari konsumen Muslim maupun non-Muslim. Hal ini membuka peluang bagi para produsen terutama produsen makanan untuk memproduksi makanan halal dan mengembangkan pangsa pasar makanan halal di seluruh dunia. Proses produk halal mengacu pada serangkaian langkah yang harus diambil untuk memastikan bahwa produk yang dihasilkan memenuhi kualifikasi halal. Menggunakan metode Participatory Rural Appraisal dimana mitra yakni pelaku usaha mikro Danau Teluk, Jambi dilibatkan secara aktif mulai dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan hingga evaluasi. Tujuannya melalui sosialisasi ini pengetahuan serta pemahaman tentang prinsip kehalalan meningkat dan pada gilirannya memotivasi pelaku usaha untuk mendaftarkan produknya untuk mendapatkan sertifikasi halal dari BPJPH. Kegiatan berjalan dengan baik dengan dihadiri oleh 72 pelaku usaha mikro, 40 diantaranya mendapat pendampingan proses produk halal. Pelaku usaha mikro yang memiliki sertifikasi halal memberikan kontribusi dalam memastikan keberlangsungan rantai nilai halal secara keseluruhan dari produksi hingga konsumsi

Abstract

Jimpitan is a traditional practice in Java where a pinch of rice is collected from a crowd and distributed to those in need. It is a form of social capital that can be used as an economic distribution system in society. This study tries to analyze the Jimpitan culture as a social capital that can be used as a system of economic distribution in society. It also aims to examine whether the Jimpitan system can be applied as an instrument for the distribution of Islamic economics. This analysis suggests that the distribution system does not have to depend solely on the government, but can be initiated by the community themselves. The Jimpitan culture reinforces the culture of gotong-royong, which is a social activity characteristic of Indonesians, especially in Java. It fosters a sense of togetherness and can be a valuable source in the distribution of economic resources. It can also be applied as an instrument for the distribution of Islamic economics, such as Zakat, Infaq, Waqf, and Sadaqah. These instruments are based on the Islamic principle of social justice and aim to alleviate socio-economic problems. The Jimpitan culture promoting the values of togetherness and mutual cooperation, which are inherent in both Javanese philosophy and Islamic teachings

Abstract

Binahong ini tumbuh dan berkembang di Provinsi Jambi serta kurang diketahui oleh pemanfaatan secara komprehensif dari pemanfaatan tanaman tersebut. Adanya potensi Sektor usaha obat dan herbal menjadi salah satu pilihan dalam pengembangan tanaman binahong. Daun binahong merupakan salah satu tumbuhan berkhasiat dengan beberapa kandungan zat yang dimiliki seperti Flavonoid, Protein, Asam Oleanolik, Asam Askorbat, Saponin dan sebagainya. Diprovinsi Jambi tanaman binahong sendiri banyak tersebar dikabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur tepatnya di kecamatan Nipah Panjang. Masyarakat setempat memanfaatkan tanaman binahong sebagai tanaman obat keluarga, biasanya masyarakat mengolah daun binahong dengan cara merebusnya.

Abstract

Historically, masjids were the center of government, education, and economy.  Nowadays there is an impression that Muslims are only busy to build the physical masjid and are not familiar with reality because Muslims tend to prioritize ceremonial rituals and underestimate the social functions of masjids. This study aims to assess the above assumptions and provide an overview of analytical reviews in capturing the phenomena of the management of masjid-based bayt al-mal. Thus, it can be well recognized the sides of excellence and weaknesses that may exist. This research uses qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. The research found that there are four phenomena of management of masjid-based bayt al-mal in the Special Province of Yogyakarta namely providing people with social funds through bayt al-mal, empowering people through bayt al-mal, empowering communities not through bayt al-mal. This research emphasizes the evolving roles of masjids, extending beyond mere places of worship. The effectiveness of these multifaceted roles hinges on strong financial management, active fundraising, and transparent utilization of bayt al-mal funds. Training and professional management are also crucial for optimizing resources and building community trust. Masjids can serve as centers of community empowerment and positive social change when embracing their broader roles and responsibilities.   Secara historis, masjid adalah pusat pemerintahan, pendidikan, dan perekonomian. Saat ini ada kesan umat Islam hanya sibuk membangun fisik masjid dan tidak paham dengan kenyataan karena umat Islam cenderung mengutamakan ritual seremonial dan meremehkan fungsi sosial masjid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji asumsi-asumsi di atas dan memberikan gambaran tinjauan analitis dalam menangkap fenomena pengelolaan masjid berbasis bayt al-mal. Dengan demikian, dapat diketahui dengan baik sisi keunggulan dan kelemahan yang mungkin ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat empat fenomena pengelolaan bayt al-mal berbasis masjid di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta yaitu pemberian dana sosial kepada masyarakat melalui bayt al-mal, pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui bayt al-mal, pemberdayaan masyarakat tidak melalui bayt al-mal, -mal. Penelitian ini menekankan perubahan peran masjid, tidak hanya sekedar tempat ibadah. Efektivitas peran multifaset ini bergantung pada pengelolaan keuangan yang kuat, penggalangan dana yang aktif, dan pemanfaatan dana bay al-mal yang transparan. Pelatihan dan manajemen profesional juga penting untuk mengoptimalkan sumber daya dan membangun kepercayaan masyarakat. Masjid dapat berfungsi sebagai pusat pemberdayaan masyarakat dan perubahan sosial yang positif ketika menjalankan peran dan tanggung jawab mereka yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Sebagai industri yang masih berkembang, pasar modal syariah memiliki banyak tantangan. Tingkat literasi masyarakat yang masih rendah akan produk dan jasa pasar modal syariah ialah diantaranya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bentuk dan model kegiatan Kelompok Studi Pasar Modal (KSPM) dalam meningkatkan literasi investasi syariah masyarakat kota Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Data primer diambil melalui wawancara dan observasi dengan KSPM, data sekunder diperoleh dengan menelusuri sumber-sumber kepustakaan yang dapat memperkuat data penelitian ini. Alat analisis menggunakan analisis interpretative Miles dan Hubermen, meliputi proses reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verfikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa KSPM telah meningkatkan pengetahuan investasi syariah masyarakat kota Jambi, dan menempatkan provinsi Jambi pada urutan 7 dengan jumlah investor syariah terbanyak secara nasional. Kegiatan sosialisasi dan edukasi pasar modal syariah yang dilakukan oleh KSPM dalam bentuk Galeri Corner Discussion, KSPM goes to class, dan KSPM goes to school, workshop, dan webinar.

Abstract

Purpose: The Paper aim to explore what possibilities Shariah Business Units could hold the mandate of Law Islamic BankingDesign/Method/Approach: This study uses a descriptive analysis. It intensively Implemented a qualitative approach to obtain information and collected the data needed through relevant literatures and studies.Findings: This paper provide several recommendations such as a direct spinoff for the five SBU with the largest assets, combining BUS with an existing Islamic Bank, combining several SBU and then spinoff, and finally converting Conventional Bank which has SBU to become an Islamic Bank.Originality/Values:  This study's originality lies in its comprehensive analysis of the strategic implications and potential outcomes for Shariah Business Units (SBU) within conventional banks, considering a specific legal timeframe, multiple transition scenarios, and practical recommendations for stakeholders in the evolving landscape of Islamic banking.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to fulfill daily life. Coconut is one of the superior commodities which is very abundant in Kuala Lagan Village. However, this potential has not been optimized due to the community's lack of understanding and experience in developing Recycle Coconut Shell to improve the creative economy based on the potential that the village community already has. Based on the problems above, it is necessary to increase understanding through community empowerment to support and improve the creative economy of the Kuala Lagan Village community. This program aims to develop and provide socialization and assistance to the community so that they can optimize the village's potential.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas dampak relokasi Pasar Kito ke Pasar Rakyat Pasir Putih di Kota Jambi dalam perspektif Islam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi dampak relokasi terhadap pedagang, masyarakat sekitar, dan pengelola pasar, serta untuk menilai hasil dan tanggapan pedagang terhadap relokasi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif yang memungkinkan peneliti untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis dampak relokasi secara komprehensif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam, dan studi literatur untuk memberikan gambaran yang akurat tentang kondisi pasca relokasi. Sampel terdiri dari 20 pedagang, 1 masyarakat setempat, dan 1 pengelola pasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa relokasi Pasar Kito ke Pasar Rakyat Pasir Putih memberikan berbagai dampak. Dampak positifnya antara lain menurunnya biaya sewa tempat bagi pedagang, meningkatnya sarana dan prasarana pasar, dan meningkatnya potensi pendapatan bagi sebagian pedagang. Namun, ada juga dampak negatif seperti ketimpangan pendapatan di antara para pedagang, kesulitan aksesibilitas bagi masyarakat sekitar, dan tantangan dalam beradaptasi dengan lokasi baru. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang kompleksitas dampak sosial dan ekonomi dari relokasi pasar dalam konteks kehidupan masyarakat lokal, serta implikasinya terhadap kebijakan publik dan kesejahteraan ekonomi secara umum.
