Abstract

According to Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage, which illustrates that marriage is a physical and spiritual bond between a man and a woman as husband and wife with the aim of forming a happy and eternal family (household) based on the Supreme God One. The complexity of family problems that often occur in the community requires BP4 to formulate a new strategy to solve various problems in the household. Based on the phenomenon above, this study seeks to describe the steps that must be taken by the Advisory Board in the community to demand that BP4 formulate a new strategy to solve these various household problems. This type of research is field research, using qualitative methods. Because in this study it is hoped that a thorough and systematic description of the facts related to the problems of divorce cases will be obtained as a research development study. The role of the Marriage Advisory, Development and Preservation Agency (BP4) of Sambas district in the mechanism for forming a sakinah family is carried out by the Marriage Advisory, Development and Preservation Agency (BP4) using several efforts, namely Preventive Efforts and Curative Efforts. Preventive efforts are made when the couple is not married. While Curative Efforts are carried out when the couple has married.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) program, entitled “Strengthening Thematic Hadith Literacy in Building Social and Religious Harmony in the Community,” aims to strengthen the community’s ability to understand and apply hadith thematically in addressing contemporary social and religious issues. The program employed a participatory approach consisting of needs assessment, interactive lectures, thematic hadith literacy training, group discussions, case studies, mentoring, and evaluation. The training focused on selected hadith themes related to tolerance, brotherhood, mutual respect, social responsibility, justice, peaceful coexistence, and religious moderation. Participants were trained to identify relevant hadith, examine their sources and meanings, compare related narrations, and contextualize their messages within contemporary community life. The results showed that participants developed a better understanding of thematic hadith and demonstrated increased awareness of the importance of applying prophetic values in building harmonious social relations. The program also strengthened participants’ critical attitudes toward religious information and encouraged more respectful responses to differences in religious understanding. Therefore, thematic hadith literacy can serve as an effective community empowerment strategy for strengthening religious moderation, social cohesion, and peaceful coexistence in a diverse society.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) program, entitled “Training on Strengthening Religious Moderation Values Based on Hadith for the Community,” aims to strengthen participants’ understanding and application of religious moderation values based on prophetic traditions in everyday social life. The program employed a participatory approach consisting of needs assessment, interactive lectures, thematic hadith discussions, case studies, group discussions, practical activities, mentoring, and evaluation. The training focused on prophetic values related to tawassuth (moderation), tasamuh (tolerance), i‘tidal (justice), tawazun (balance), respect for differences, brotherhood, compassion, and peaceful coexistence. Participants were guided to identify relevant hadith, understand their meanings, examine their contextual relevance, and apply their messages to contemporary social and religious issues. The results indicated that the training enhanced participants’ understanding of religious moderation and increased their awareness of the importance of applying prophetic values in responding to religious diversity. Participants also demonstrated greater critical awareness in addressing differences in religious interpretation and religious information circulating through digital media. The program concludes that hadith-based religious moderation training can serve as an effective strategy for strengthening community religious literacy, promoting tolerance, and building peaceful and harmonious social relations.
