Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in culture and religion. However, in the era of technological advancement, cases of intolerance and a lack of understanding of religious moderation are still often encountered, especially among the younger generation. This situation calls for engaging learning media. One innovation that can be developed to enhance understanding of religious moderation is by creating the educational game “Si Tole's Adventure.” The game is designed using the Roblox platform based on a map of Yogyakarta, which is rich in cultural diversity. This study aims to develop the game “Si Tole's Adventure” as a learning medium to improve religious tolerance. The research methods include testing the material and storyline, evaluating the game’s feasibility, conducting bug tests, and assessing the game's effectiveness. The validation results showed a very good media feasibility level (91%) for the material and very good (88%) for the questions. Effectiveness tests showed that students' understanding of religious moderation increased by 67% at the high school level and 68% at the junior high school level. In addition, observations showed a decrease in intolerant behavior and an increase in mutual respect among students. With these results, "The Adventures of Si Tole" has proven to be effective as an interactive learning medium capable of instilling the value of tolerance towards religious diversity among students.

Abstract

In an increasingly competitive business world, marketing is key to the survival and development of a business, both in global and local markets. Amidst this competition, many SMEs, such as food stalls, still use traditional and ineffective marketing strategies. Incorrect marketing strategies can result in significant sales declines and even bankruptcy for most SMEs. This necessitates educational programs designed to educate SMEs, especially food stall owners, to understand the importance of innovation in marketing strategies and adapt to technological developments and market needs. Therefore, engaging, easy-to-understand, and relevant learning media are needed to ensure marketing education is accessible to a wide range of audiences. Therefore, this study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of comics as a creative and interactive marketing education tool. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, expert validation, and pre- and post-tests given to two groups of respondents: group A (using comics) and group B (without comics). The results of the effectiveness test showed that group A experienced a 59.6% increase in understanding and a 77.8% increase in turnover, while group B only experienced a 22.6% increase in understanding and a 16.1% increase in turnover. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the comic media "Want to Make Your Shop More Popular, BUT HOW?!" is effective as a marketing education medium that can significantly increase the understanding of marketing concepts, sales results, and business profits.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara terluas ke-15 di dunia dengan keragaman budaya dan tradisinya, termasuk tarian tradisional. Namun, minat generasi muda terhadap tari tradisional kian menurun, sehingga diperlukan inovasi untuk dapat menarik minat mereka. Yogyakarta dikenal sebagai kota yang mempertahankan budaya Jawanya, salah satunya Tari Golek Menak Rengganis Widaninggar. Di lain hal, Materi fisika merupakan materi pelajaran yang sering dianggap sulit. Maka, penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi penerapan konsep torsi pada tarian tersebut dan memanfaatkannya sebagai referensi pembelajaran fisika. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Data dianalisis melalui tahap pengumpulan, pembersihan, pengolahan, dan penyajian, lalu divisualisasikan dalam bentuk sketsa penerapan torsi pada gerakan tari. Hasilnya disajikan dalam media pembelajaran berbasis website, yaitu Naliven Edu Space. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gerakan pembuka, inti, dan penutup tari ini mengandung banyak prinsip torsi. Media pembelajaran telah divalidasi ahli materi, sehingga dapat diintegrasikan ke pembelajaran formal untuk melestarikan budaya sekaligus meningkatkan pemahaman fisika.
