Abstract

The SIHA application is the official platform for recording and reporting HIV/AIDS and IMS at the national, district, and provincial administrative levels. Since 2012, SIHA has been used by the health office but in its application, there are still frequent problems, especially when inputting patient data and sending reports that often experience errors. In addition, this application can only be accessed using Mozilla Firefox. At the beginning of the emergence of SIHA until 2023, there has never been an evaluation. The purpose of the study was to identify the level of acceptance of the SIHA 2.1 application among health workers in 3 (three) districts/cities in Central Java Province, namely Semarang, Jepara, and Grobokan. A cross-sectional design was used in this study and the sample selection technique used a non-probability sampling technique with an accidental sampling method. So that the number of samples that fit the researcher's criteria was 56 people. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, and Price Value related to health workers' interest in implementing the SIHA 2.1 application. As for Hedonic Motivation, there is no significant relationship. It is expected that the development of the SIHA 2.1 application to further improve services to minimize the occurrence of errors in the use of information systems for recording and reporting HIV/AIDS data and to simplify the filling of the SIHA 2.1 application.

Abstract

Abstract

Patient safety is an important component in improving the quality of healthcare services in hospitals. However, various patient safety incidents such as Adverse Events (AE), Near Misses (NM), and Non-Injury Events (NIE) still occur in various healthcare facilities, including Hospital X in Semarang City. This study aims to analyse the factors that influence patient safety culture among inpatient nurses at Hospital X in Semarang City. The study uses a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consists of all 442 inpatient nurses, with a sample of 82 respondents selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires and analysed using statistical tests to assess relationships among variables. The results showed that the average positive response to patient safety culture was 83.5%. The dimension with the highest positive response was cooperation within the unit (90.2%), followed by open communication and staffing, each at 84.1%. Bivariate analysis showed that all variables studied had a significant relationship with patient safety culture (p < 0.05), namely management support (p=0.018), cooperation within the unit (p=0.039), open communication (p=0.001), safety promotion by leaders (p=0.025), staffing (p=0.001), continuous improvement (p=0.011), patient safety perception (p=0.004), and non-punitive response to errors (p=0.007). The conclusion of the study shows that the patient safety culture at Hospital X in Semarang City is relatively good, but still needs to be strengthened, especially in terms of open communication and adequate staffing. The hospital is advised to increase management support, strengthen the incident reporting system without blaming, and optimise the number and distribution of health workers to improve patient safety.

Abstract

Rapid progress in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), including in the health sector. ICT is being rapidly integrated into health systems to address issues related to the accessibility and delivery of digital health services. Through a website-based HIV Information System (SIHA) for integrated recording and reporting of HIV/AIDS and STIs. The SIHA 2.1 application must be used simultaneously by health workers at Indonesian health service facilities. To measure health workers' interest in using the SIHA 2.1 application, researchers conducted research using the UTATUT method. This method is expected to explain the application of the SIHA 2.1 Application in the use of information technology. This study aims to analyze the acceptance of the SIHA 2.1 Application among health workers in Central Java Province. Using qualitative methods in this research and sampling techniques using total sampling with a total of 56 respondents. The research results show a significant relationship between social influence, facilitating conditions, and habits on health workers' interest in using the SIHA 2.1 application. It is hoped that the results of this research will continue to increase the use of the SIHA 2.1 application.
