Abstract

The increasing use of social media in Indonesia has triggered various social problems, including social media addiction. One of the growing communities is roleplayers, who use pseudo-identities to play idols or celebrities. The study analyzed the relationship between loneliness and online sex behavior in 209 roleplayers on social media. The research method used was quantitative correlation with purposive sampling, using two measuring tools, namely the Internet Sex Screening Test (ISST) by Delmonico and Miller (2003) and the UCLA Loneliness Scale Ver.3 by Russell (1996) with reliability results of 0.875 and 0.859. Data analysis using product moment correlation assisted by IBM SPSS ver. 22 for Windows which obtained the results of a positive relationship between loneliness and online sexual behavior in the roleplayer community on social media with the results of a hypothesis test with a value of r = 0.596 with a significance value of p = 0.00. This means that the higher the level of loneliness felt by the roleplayer community, the higher the tendency to behave in online sex carried out by the roleplayer community.

Abstract

The percentage of unemployed at the diploma level is higher than at the undergraduate level, even though diploma-level students have skills that undergraduate students do not get. It shows the lack of work readiness of diploma-level students. One of the factors that influences work readiness is psychological capital. Furthermore, one of the factors that can influence psychological capital and work readiness is gender. This research aims to see whether gender can moderate the influence of psychological capital on work readiness in final diploma-level students at Padang State University. This research uses a quantitative approach. The number of samples in this study was 100 final diploma-level students at Padang State University who were selected using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data was collected using a work readiness scale with a reliability of 0.821 and a psychological capital scale with a reliability of 0.813. Data analysis in this research used moderated regression analysis using the subgroup method. This research shows that gender cannot moderate the influence of psychological capital on work readiness in final diploma-level students at Padang State University.

Abstract

Diploma education in general is expected to provide skills to students so that they can determine the career they will pursue in the future. This study was conducted in order to determine the relationship between future career orientation and career decision making self-efficacy in D-III final year students at Padang State University. This research uses a correlational quantitative approach with Pearson Product Moment analysis technique. The research sample amounted to 93 people obtained using probability sampling technique through proportionate stratified random sampling method. Data collection was carried out using measuring instruments Prospective Life Course Questionnaire Future and Work and Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between future career orientation and career decision making self-efficacy with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.656. This matter shows that the higher the future career orientation, the higher the career decision making self-efficacy in D-III final year students at Padang State University and so other wise.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kontribusi antara organizational-based self-esteem dan work engagement pada pegawai negeri sipil di Balai Diklat Keagamaan Padang. Metode penelitian yang dipakai ialah kuantitatif  dengan metode survey. Sampel terdiri dari 58 responden yang merupakan pegawai negeri sipil di Balai Diklat Keagamaan Padang yang diambil dari populasi berdasarkan sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data memanfaatkan skala organizational-based self-esteem yang disusun berdasarkan aspek-aspek yang dijelaskan oleh Pierce dan Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) yang disusun Schaufelli dan diadaptasi ke bahasa Indonesia. Uji analisis regresi linear sederhana digunakan sebagai analisis data penelitian. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa antara organizational-based self-esteem dan work engagement berkontribusi secara positif dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.00 < 0.05. Level organizational-based self-esteem dan work engagement berada pada kategori tinggi dengan koefisien pengaruh sebesar 36% dan 67% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Memahami organizational-based self-esteem dan work engagement dapat memberikan implikasi potensial bagi organisasi  dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung yang meningkatkan produktivitas karyawan dan mencegah masalah dan hambatan yang muncul di organisasi.

Abstract

Dalam bisnis jual beli, sistem informasi memegang peranan yang penting. Dengan adanya sistem informasi, aktivitas jual beli dapat dengan mudah dilakukan oleh pemilik bisnis dalam menjual produk-produknya. Jambrong Ricebowl yang bergerak di bidang kuliner membutuhkan sistem informasi untuk meningkatkan penghasilan dan kemudahan penjualan. Di era informasi global, informasi dapat dicapai dengan menggunakan internet ataupun melalui situs website yang kita dapatkan untuk suatu informasi. Pelaku bisnis di era milenial saat ini dapat berkembang lebih mudah dengan memanfaatkan sarana internet seperti website dan email. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Metode Waterfall. Metode tersebut digunakan sebab dapat memudahkan dalam melakukan pengembangan website karena melalui urutan tahapan yang harus dilakukan. Dengan dibuatnya sistem informasi penjualan memudahkan penjual dan pembeli dalam melakukan transaksi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of increasing online game addiction behavior among young adults in Padang City, especially the online game Player Unknown's Battle Ground (PUBG). This research aims to determine the relationship between loneliness and online game addiction in early adulthood in Padang City. The method used is a quantitative method with a correlational quantitative design. The subjects found in this study were 192 early adults in Padang City using purposive sampling as the sampling technique. The data collection method in this research was by using the UCLA Loneliness Scale and Game Addiction Scale (GAS) measuring instruments. Data analysis uses product moment correlation techniques. The results of this research hypothesis test obtained r = 0.536 with a significance value of p = 0.000. These results show that there is a significant positive relationship between loneliness and online game addiction in early adulthood in Padang City, meaning that the higher a person's feeling of loneliness, the higher the online game addiction will be.

Abstract

In the learning process, students are individuals who must be actively involved physically, cognitively and emotionally. There are many factors that influence this involvement, one of which is the teacher's interpersonal behavior. This research aims to determine the relationship between teacher interpersonal behavior and student engagement at senior high school 5 Pariaman city. The sample in this study was selected using a stratified random sampling technique of 176 respondents. This research uses a quantitative correlational approach with Product Moment analysis techniques The results of the research identified that there is a relationship between teacher interpersonal behavior and student engagement at senior high school 5 Pariaman city with a coefficient correlation value of 0.538 > 0.05 (p > 0.05) on teacher interpersonal behavior (positive dimension), while there is a correlation coefficient value of -0.268 > 0.05 (p > 0.05) on behavior. teacher interpersonal (negative dimension). It can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between teacher interpersonal behavior (positive dimension) and student engagement at senior high school 5 Pariaman city, and there is a negative relationship between teacher interpersonal behavior (negative dimension) and student engagement at senior high school 5 Pariaman city.

Abstract

Dalam konteks pendidikan tinggi, student engagement menjadi aspek penting yang memengaruhi keberhasilan pembelajaran, terutama dalam pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang menuntut partisipasi aktif. Salah satu faktor internal yang diduga berperan dalam meningkatkan engagement adalah growth mindset. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara growth mindset dengan student engagement mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project-Based Learning) di Universitas Negeri Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel berjumlah 407 mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala student engagement dan skala growth mindset. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara growth mindset dengan student engagement (r = 0,704, p < 0,001). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi growth mindset mahasiswa, maka semakin tinggi pula keterlibatannya dalam pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Oleh karena itu, penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran yang mendorong pola pikir berkembang di kelas seperti memberikan umpan balik yang berorientasi pada proses dan usaha, menyediakan ruang diskusi, serta menciptakan lingkungan kelas yang reflektif perlu diperkuat agar keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam PBL dapat terbangun secara optimal.
