Abstract

This article is an attempt by the author to observe the phenomenon of social mobility as the effect of Islamic education which is carried out so far. For this purpose the authors conduct a conceptual study on the development of education in the perspective of sociology, with the Qur'an as the foundation of the development of Islamic education as intended. Social mobility is essentially a movement of a person or group of people, both vertical and horizontal, to be an important point discussed in this article. In this case, there are at least three important roles that Islamic education carries. First, Islamic education as the foundation for social mobility. Secondly, Islamic education as a foundation for social stratification changes. Third, Islamic education as a channel for the movement of social mobility.

Abstract

The basic potential (the talent and capacity) of human that will develop optimally if process of education and environment appropriate affectively and eficient. This process of education and environmental are the basis of educational thought Ibn Miskawayh based on the moral development of welded with various scientific of the world and the hereafter. In the theoretical framework, needs to be built theory of middle way from a variety of extreme in order to take the maximum benefit for the creation of Insan al-Kamil because his soul rising from the lowest level to the highest heading of the psych the human being (al-nafs al-insaniyah). For that we need a method of education that is appropriate to the application in accordance with the circumstances of psychology learners. It’s to empowering this human characters needs capitalized with a variety of knowledges and sciences in accordance with the talent and capacity of learners. The sciences are offered ranging from religious sciences, social sciences, and natural sciences, and technology even in enhanching competitiveness in the global competition.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of religious extracurriculars (Rohis) in strengthening students' social awareness and analyzing strategies and supporting and inhibiting factors in enhancing students' social understanding in religious extracurriculars (Rohis) at SMAN 74 Jakarta. The research method used is a descriptive case study approach. Analysis with a focus on field research. Research data was collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis, which was then analyzed using a flow model with analysis procedures consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research results show that implementing religious extracurriculars (Rohis) at one of the high schools in Jakarta, Indonesia has succeeded in creating an environment that promotes cooperation, empathy, and respect for others. Through social service activities, students become more sensitive to social problems around them and show higher social awareness. The strategies Rohis coaches and members carried out to strengthen students' social understanding include implementing teaching and integrating social awareness values ​​in regular meetings, providing good role models, and involving students in social activities in the school and community environment. Overall, this research provides important insights into the role of Rohis in forming students' social awareness and offers recommendations to further increase the effectiveness of religious extracurriculars in fostering social understanding among students at one of the high schools in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of the make-a-match type cooperative learning model in increasing students' interest in learning in fiqh subjects. This research was caused by students' low interest in Fiqh subjects due to the lack of variety in learning models. The advantage of the make-a-match type cooperative learning model is that it is fun. This research uses qualitative research methods with the type of classroom action research. The data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. This research was conducted at MTS Annajah Jakarta with a sample of 28 class VII.3 students. Based on the results of this research, the make-a-match type cooperative learning model can increase students' interest in learning in Fiqh subjects. This can be seen from students’ enthusiasm, expression, and enthusiasm of students when carrying out the make-a-match type cooperative learning model in Fiqh subjects
