Abstract

The purpose of this research was able to prove empirically about the Delone and Mclean Models for the evaluation of ELISTA information systems at Jambi University. In addition, this research was also expected to provide feedback to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the implementation of information systems and can be known the factors that cause the success or failure of the implementation of an information system so that the results of this study can be used as a strategic guideline model for information system development in the university and other institutions. The type of data used in this study was primary data obtained directly from respondents using a list of statements in the form of a questionnaire. Final year students who write the thesis are targeted in this study. To calculate the determination of the number of samples, the sampling method used the Hair method. The total sample of this study was 220 people. Methodology Data analysis was carried out using SEM techniques using SmartPLS tools. The findings in this study found that the system quality does not affect the user satisfaction, while other hypotheses such as information quality, service quality, system use affect user satisfaction, for system quality, information quality, and service quality affect the system use. Likewise the system use affects user satisfaction and system use, user satisfaction has an influence on net benefits.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze user sentiment toward the merger of the MyIndiHome application into the MyTelkomsel platform conducted by PT Telkom Indonesia. In the digital era, the integration of these two customer service applications represents a strategic step to create a unified digital ecosystem. However, this merger has also generated diverse user responses, reflected in various reviews on the Google Play Store. To analyze these opinions, 1,556 user reviews were collected using the web scraping technique. The preprocessing stage included cleaning, tokenizing, filtering, normalization, stemming, and the application of the Synthetic Minority Over-Sampling Technique (SMOTE) to address class imbalance. Two machine learning algorithms, Support Vector Machine (SVM) and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), were applied to classify sentiments into positive, negative, and neutral categories. The experimental results showed that SVM achieved higher accuracy (86.2% before SMOTE and 84.9% after SMOTE) compared to KNN (83.7% before SMOTE and 67.6% after SMOTE). These results indicate that SVM performs more effectively and consistently in handling high-dimensional text data than KNN. Therefore, SVM is considered a more reliable algorithm for sentiment classification in this context. The findings provide valuable insights for PT Telkom Indonesia in understanding user perceptions, improving service quality, and enhancing user experience following the digital integration of MyIndiHome into MyTelkomsel.

Abstract

Rendahnya tingkat literasi masyarakat desa masih menjadi tantangan dalam peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Desa Kunangan telah memiliki pojok baca sebagai sarana literasi nonformal, namun pengelolaannya masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga akses informasi dan pemanfaatannya belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi pojok baca berbasis website untuk mendukung pengelolaan literasi desa secara lebih efektif dan terpusat. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah Extreme Programming (XP) yang meliputi tahapan perencanaan, perancangan, pengkodean, dan pengujian dengan iterasi singkat serta keterlibatan pengguna secara aktif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan perangkat desa dan masyarakat guna mengidentifikasi kebutuhan sistem. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan framework Laravel dan menyediakan informasi koleksi buku, lokasi pojok baca, serta akses bacaan digital. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan Black Box Testing dengan teknik Equivalence Partitioning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem meningkatkan akses informasi literasi dan efisiensi pengelolaan pojok baca, serta mendukung transformasi digital desa.

Abstract

The digital transformation of local government requires information and communication technology service systems that focus on user activities to effectively support daily work processes. This study focuses on the design of the user interface and user experience of the Information System for Information and Communication Technology Services (SILANTIK) website to support services for Regional Government Organizations in the Jambi City Government. The Activity-Centered Design method was applied by emphasizing users’ primary activities in ICT inventory management and service request processes. The research stages included requirements analysis, wireframe development, interface design using Figma, and evaluation through usability testing using Maze and the System Usability Scale questionnaire. The usability testing involved eight respondents and resulted in SUS scores of 74.5 for regional government organizations, 77.5 for super administrators, and 88.75 for administrators, which fall into the Excellent category. Maze results indicated a high level of task success and efficiency. Overall, the SILANTIK interface design is considered effective and capable of providing an optimal user experience.Keywords: Activity-Centered Design; Maze; UI/UX; System Usability Scale   AbstrakTransformasi digital pemerintahan daerah memerlukan sistem layanan TIK yang berfokus pada aktivitas pengguna agar mampu mendukung pelaksanaan aktivitas kerja secara efektif. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan antarmuka dan pengalaman pengguna website Sistem Informasi Layanan Teknologi Informatika Komunikasi (SILANTIK) untuk mendukung pelayanan Organisasi Perangkat Daerah di Pemerintah Kota Jambi. Metode Activity-Centered Design digunakan dengan fokus pada aktivitas utama pengguna dalam proses inventarisasi dan permohonan layanan TIK. Tahapan penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan wireframe, desain antarmuka menggunakan Figma, serta evaluasi melalui usability testing dengan Maze dan kuesioner System Usability Scale. Pengujian melibatkan delapan responden dan menghasilkan skor SUS sebesar 74,5 untuk OPD, 77,5 untuk super admin, dan 88,75 untuk admin dengan kategori Excellent. Hasil Maze menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan dan efisiensi tugas yang tinggi. Secara keseluruhan, desain SILANTIK dinilai efektif dan mampu memberikan pengalaman pengguna yang optimal.

Abstract

The spread of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-generated hoax videos on social media is increasing and potentially influences Generation Z behavior in disseminating false information in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the effects of perceived threat, safeguard effectiveness, safeguard cost, self-efficacy, and digital literacy on avoidance motivation and their impact on hoax dissemination behavior using the Technology Threat Avoidance Theory (TTAT) approach. This study employed a quantitative method with purposive sampling involving 250 Generation Z respondents in Indonesia. The sample size was determined based on Hair Jr.’s rule of thumb. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that perceived threat, safeguard cost, and self-efficacy have a positive and significant effect on avoidance motivation, while safeguard effectiveness has no significant effect. Avoidance motivation significantly affects hoax dissemination behavior. In addition, digital literacy significantly influences avoidance motivation and hoax dissemination behavior and also has an indirect effect through avoidance motivation as a mediating variable. This study demonstrates that TTAT factors and digital literacy play an important role in shaping Generation Z’s behavior in responding to AI-based hoaxes on social media. The practical implication highlights the importance of improving digital literacy and awareness of AI-generated hoaxes to reduce the spread of false information.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the acceptance and use of Facebook Professional as a means of monetizing digital content among the people of Sungai Penuh City. The main problem in this study is the low utilization of this feature despite its significant economic potential. The study used a quantitative approach with the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 3 model expanded with knowledge variables. Data were collected from 195 respondents and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares. The results showed that perceived usefulness, hedonic motivation, and personal innovation significantly influenced usage intention, while habits, knowledge, and usage intention significantly influenced actual usage behavior. Technical and social factors did not show a dominant influence. This study concluded that personal, psychological, and user experience factors played a greater role in driving the adoption of Facebook Professional than technical factors, so optimizing user education and experience is important in increasing its utilization as a digital economic medium.

Abstract

The manual management of population administration at the Rukun Tetangga (RT) level causes significant inefficiencies, including slow data retrieval, physical document duplication, and a lack of transparency in social assistance distribution. This study aims to design and implement a web-based RT administration information system named BISAKELOLA at RT 14, Kenali Asam, Jambi City, which integrates resident data management and social assistance management into a single platform. The system was developed using the Scrum method through three iterative sprints, with data collected through direct observation, interviews, and literature review, and validated using Black Box Testing based on the Equivalence Partitioning technique. BISAKELOLA successfully centralized resident data, accelerated information retrieval, eliminated physical document duplication of family cards and identity cards, and digitalized the social assistance submission process into a more transparent workflow. All test scenarios across four main modules, namely authentication, resident data, social assistance, and account management, performed as expected without critical errors. Sprint reviews conducted at the end of each sprint proved effective in adaptively accommodating user requirement changes, resulting in a system that is functionally aligned with real community needs. BISAKELOLA proves to be an effective digital solution for modernizing RT administrative services and improving social assistance transparency, and is expected to serve as a replicable model for community-level digitalization across other RT/RW environments in Jambi City.
