Cita-cita utama pemerintah menggunakan kurikulum K-13 adalah menciptakan generasi yang cerdas berpengatahuan, kompeten dan trampil. Studi ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) siswa madrasah tsanawiyah dalam pembelajaran matematika setelah diberlakukannya kurikulum K-13. Studi ini difokuskan pada TIMSS Assessment framework yang terdiri atas empat materi matematik yaitu bilangan, aljabar, geometri, data dan peluang. Dimensi kognitif yang diukur meliputi kemampuan penerapan dan penalaran. Data penelitian ini berasal dari studi literatur tentang penerapan kurikulum K-13 dan survey yang melibatkan sebanyak 1.317 siswa madrasah tsanawiyah dari tujuh kota di pulau Jawa. Sampel tersebut berasal dari 439 Madrasah Tsanawiyah DKI Jakarta, Bandung, Serang, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Malang dan Surabaya. Analisis inferensial untuk menguji perbedaan antar kelompok data menggunakan uji ANAVA satu jalur. Data dari survey dan studi literatur dianalisis melalui tahapan restatemen, deskripsi dan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan tingkat keterampilan HOTS matematis siswa madrasah tsanawiyah. Hal ini mengacu pada hasil uji empiris menggunakan ANAVA satu jalur yang menunjukan nilai signifikansi perbedaan kemampuan HOTS matematis sebesar 0,048 < 0,05. Nilai rata-rata tertinggi untuk aspek penerapan diperoleh siswa madrasah Tsanawiyah Yogyakarta. Sedangkan untuk aspek penalaran nilai rata-rata tertinggi siswa dari Surabaya. Dua kemampuan HOTS tersebut masih tergolong rendah. Tulisan ini menyarankan perlunya penelitian lanjutan untuk melihat secara khusus penerapan kurikulum K-13 di madrasah untuk dimungkinkannya suatu analisis komparatif.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan kesulitan-kesulitan apa yang dialami mahasiswa tadris matematika di UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan kesulitan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal integral. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian kepada 38 mahasiswa jurusan tadris matematika semester 3, dengan pengambilan subjek didasarkan pada 3 mahasiswa yang melakukan kesalahan semua soal, 5 mahasiswa yang salah dua soal dan 2 mahasiswa yang benar semua soal. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes dan wawancara pada mahasiswa. Tes yang diberikan berbentuk tes uraian dengan materi integral. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif naratif dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 30% mahasiswa melakukan kesalahan prinsip, dan 23% melakukan kesalahan operasional. Faktor penyebab terjadi kesalahan mahasiswa adalah tidak memahami konsep, prinsip integral tak tentu dan integral tentu secara baik, serta kurangnya memahami konsep materi prasyarat seperti konsep turunan, operasi aljabar dan kurang teliti dalam melakukan operasi penyelesaian soal. Temuan ini menunjukkan perlunya pengajar menekankan materi konsep integral dan memberikan inovasi serta strategi pembelajaran yang tepat. Kata kunci: Integral; Kesulitan mahasiswa; Pandemi covid-19. AbstractThis study aims to describe the difficulties experienced by mathematics education students at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung and to find out what factors cause students' difficulties in solving integral problems. The type of research conducted is qualitative research with a case study approach. Research on 38 students majoring in mathematics tadris 3rd semester, with subject selection was based on 3 students who made mistakes in all the questions, 5 students who got two questions wrong and 2 students corrected all the questions. Data was collected by using the method of tests and interviews with students. The test given is in the form of a description test with indeterminate integral material. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive narrative using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that 30% of students made mistakes in principle, and 23% made operational errors. The factors that cause student errors are not understanding the concept, the principle of indeterminate integral and definite integral well, and the lack of understanding of prerequisite material concepts such as derivative concepts, algebraic operations, and lack of thoroughness in problem solving operations. This finding shows the need for teachers to emphasize integral concept material and provide innovations and appropriate learning strategies.Keywords: Integral; Student difficulty; Covid-19 pandemic

All aspects of life, including the education system, have undergone many changes due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We need media that can facilitate and attract students to carry out learning activities. This study aims to develop GeoGebra-based mathematics learning media. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The research was carried out at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Mathematics Study Program in semester 3. The research subjects for the small-scale field test were class A, which had 32 students; for the large-scale field test, there were 132 students in Mathematics Education 3rd Semester. The results of research on the development of GeoGebra-based learning media in the Flat Analytical Geometry course for students majoring in Mathematics Education at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung were declared valid, practical and effective. The future hope for developing similar media is to expand the scope of the material discussed because the media developed is limited to flat analytic geometry operations.

The background of this research is the lack of flexibility in the teaching materials used in learning. The use of less interesting teaching materials reduces students' interest in learning and their mathematical communication skills tend to be low. Technological advances require developers to develop interesting and flexible teaching materials. This research aims to: (1) Describe the process of developing mobile learning teaching materials to improve vocational school students' mathematical communication skills, (2) Find out the feasibility of mobile learning teaching materials to improve vocational school students' mathematical communication skills, (3) Find out the effectiveness of mobile learning teaching materials for improve vocational school students' mathematical communication skills. This research uses the Borg and Gall development model. Validation tests were carried out by 2 material experts and 2 media experts. Product trials were carried out in 2 stages, namely limited group trials and field implementation trials. This development obtained the results of the validity of teaching materials by media experts with a percentage of 85% in the valid category. The results of the validity of teaching materials by material experts with a percentage of 89% are in the valid category. The results of the practicality of teaching materials were obtained from the analysis of user activity observations, the percentage of students asking questions was 20% with the criteria that they could be used without revision. Meanwhile, the results of the teacher response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 97% with very practical criteria for use in learning. The student response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 95%, the criteria were very effectively used.

The objectives of this study were (1) to describe the spatial abilities of students using the Van Hiele thinking stages, (2) to find out the differences in students' spatial abilities in terms of the Van Hiele thinking stages based on the Van Hiele level groups. The method used is a mixed method type design, sequential explanatory with qualitative research followed by quantitative research first. Qualitative data collection techniques using observation, tests, and interviews with the subject of 6 students. Quantitative data collection technique with a sample obtained of 64 students using a test, by testing the hypothesis using the one way ANOVA test. The results of this study are as follows (1) Students' spatial abilities in terms of the Van Hiele thinking stage level 0 (Visualization) only meet the indicator spatial ability, namely spatial visualization, at the Van Hiele thinking stage level 1 (Analysis) meets the spatial ability indicators, namely spatial visualization and mental rotation. at the Van Hiele thinking stage level level 2 (informal deduction) fulfills all spatial ability indicators, namely spatial visualization, spatial perception and mental rotation, (2) There are differences in students' spatial abilities in terms of Van Hiele thinking stages based on group level 0 (Visualization), level 1 (Analysis), and level 2 (Informal Deduction).

Penelitian ini menyoroti fenomena menarik tentang bagaimana lagu-lagu viral dengan lirik bertema seksual dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa sekolah menengah atas. Dalam konteks ini, musik tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai alat pedagogis inovatif yang dapat merangsang minat dan motivasi belajar siswa. Dengan melibatkan 50 siswa dari dua sekolah di Jakarta, penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh lirik lagu terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Penggunaan lirik lagu seperti "Ngidam Pentol," "Jagung Rebus," dan lagu-lagu pop populer lainnya dalam pembelajaran matematika ternyata dapat memberikan dampak positif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan sebesar 25% dalam kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa. Teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis data, yang mengungkapkan bahwa siswa tidak hanya lebih tertarik pada pelajaran, tetapi juga menunjukkan pemahaman yang lebih baik terhadap konsep matematika yang kompleks. Peningkatan ini disinyalir karena musik bertema seksual yang viral dapat membuat pelajaran lebih relevan dan menarik bagi siswa, sehingga mereka lebih termotivasi untuk belajar. Lagu-lagu ini menjadi media yang efektif untuk menyajikan materi yang sulit dengan cara yang lebih menyenangkan dan mudah dipahami. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam bidang pendidikan, dengan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi musik dan pembelajaran dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran yang sering dianggap sulit seperti matematika. Ini membuka jalan bagi pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif dan kontekstual, yang dapat diadaptasi untuk berbagai subjek dan kelompok siswa.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, educators were tasked with scouting out fresh approaches to teaching math. In addition, today's classrooms call for an emphasis on student-centered instruction that fosters the kinds of 21st-century talents that employers need. Abilities like critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication are not yet optimally implemented in the new normal or post-pandemic age. This is the case because students' study habits could not be optimized as they transitioned from online and only at-home study to full-fledged schoolwork. Even in a distance learning setting, however, it is expected that these skills will continue to be developed and refined. Teachers can implement methods like project-based learning to help pupils acquire these abilities. This volunteer project has as its overarching goal the enhancement of educator competence in the pursuit of creating novel and engaging curricula for the general populace in the wake of the COVID-19 epidemic. It is envisaged that teachers at partner schools will benefit from this training and mentorship activity for project-based learning to better plan and execute such activities. Mentoring, observing, and role-playing are all components of this service. The teacher's high level of engagement in this activity is indicative of her dedication to professional development. Educators believe they grow professionally as a result of their work with project-based learning. Teachers have found success in developing project-based learning plans and implementing them in mentoring activities. After this event, similar events will be held every month, and mentorship will be provided to help teachers become more proficient in both project learning design and implementation

Students often need help acquiring information about mathematics delivered in class within a limited timeframe, without the opportunity for repeated discussions or comprehensive review. Additionally, retaining previously taught material might be challenging. Hence, educators must establish efficacious instruction that stems from pioneering pedagogy. One of the advancements is the utilization of educational media. This study examines the existing literature about using video blogs (vlogs) as a medium for educational purposes. This study employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology. Data was gathered by systematically collecting and scrutinizing articles about vlogs as an educational medium published between 2013 and 2023. This research utilized eight papers, theses, and dissertations from reputable national journals or conferences. The materials were collected through the Publish or Perish tool. The research findings indicate that including vlog media in the learning process can enhance the efficacy of instruction and positively impact students' learning outcomes. Thus, vlogs can be utilized as an educational tool for mathematics instruction. The essay provides a comprehensive analysis of the practicality of this innovation in enhancing mathematics education.

Collaboration skills are critical for students, offering a pathway to increased knowledge, social interaction, self-confidence, and motivation. This research aims to improve students' collaborative skills in mathematics learning, especially in function limit material at Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Using a literature review approach in 3 international databases covering 2015-2023, this research explores various relevant collaborative learning guidelines in 21st-century education. The methods used include descriptive analysis of existing literature and quantitative evaluation of previous research results by identifying studies focusing on implementation in various countries, including Indonesia. The research results show that collaborative learning can significantly improve students' understanding of function limits through quantitative data that supports this claim. In addition, active involvement in group discussions and joint problem-solving has increased student motivation and self-confidence. The problem-based learning model has emerged as a practical approach to developing these collaborative skills. This research provides critical insight into the importance of collaborative learning strategies in the mathematics curriculum at Madrasah Tsanawiyah, focusing on function limits material. These findings highlight the vital role of collaboration-based learning in preparing students to face the challenges of the 21st century, both in academic contexts and everyday life. Limitations of this study include the lack of longitudinal data and wider sample variation. Future research should incorporate mixed research methods to explore the impact of problem-based learning models further.

Peran dan fungsi penting artikel ilmiah atau jurnal ilmiah adalah, sebagai komunikasi akademik, diseminasi, pengembangan budaya akademik di perguruan tinggi, dan pertukaran informasi iptek. Namun perkembangan artikel ilmiah di jurnal ilmiah tidak sebesar perannya, terutama dalam menghasilkan jurnal ilmiah yang berkualitas. Indonesia tergolong negara dengan output publikasi ilmiah yang rendah. Terutama penelitian di bidang akuntansi dan keuangan. Kualitas artikel ilmiah yang dihasilkan bidang ini diukur dengan H-Index masih berada di peringkat ke-44 dan tidak berubah sejak tahun 2014. Minat menulis 200 mahasiswa Sarajana Akuntansi pada tiga PTN di Kota Malang juga tergolong rendah. Oleh karenanya, pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode pelatihan bertujuan memberikan pemaparan materi dan trial tools publikasi artikel ilmiah kepada mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis Islam, Program Akuntansi Syariah UINSATU. Pengabdian diawali dengan pemberian pretest mengenai pemahaman substansi artikel ilmiah, pemaparan materi penulisan dan publikasi artikel ilmiah, dan di akhir sesi diakhiri dengan posttest. Selanjutnya hasil pretes dan posttest tersebut akan diuji perbandinga, apakah mahasiswa yang mengikuti pelatihan mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan tentang publikasi artikel ilmiah setelah mengikuti pelatihan tersebut. Hasil pengabdian ini menyatakan: 1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pelaksanaan pelatihan publikasi artikel ilmiah mahasiswa terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan mahasiswa dalam menulis dan menerbitkan artikel ilmiah. 2) Mahasiswa Program Akuntansi Syariah Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis Islam UINSATU dapat membuat artikel ilmiah di jurnal dengan melibatkan tools yang diperlukan seperti Mendeley, Publish atau Perish.
