Abstract

Keerom Regency is one of the areas that has the potential for Batugamping mineral resources which is quite potential, this is evidenced by the existence of several mining business actors who are carrying out mining activities in the area. Based on the geological map of the Jayapura sheet (Taritatu Sheet) the distribution of limestone potential is quite evenly distributed in the Keerom Regency area. The distribution of limestone potential in Keerom Regency is spread in the Arso 1, Arso 4, Arso 10, Arso 13 areas to Senggi. Based on the results of the initial survey, mining activities in Keerom Regency have not been managed properly, because some mining sites have carried out mining activities but do not yet have legality, namely a mining permit (SIP), do not have a good and correct mine processing plan based on the mining stages, there are still locations where limestone is not yet known distribution, volume and even the amount of resources and reserves. The potential for limestone is a good investment opportunity if it is developed into a community mine that can provide added value to the community. Therefore, it is necessary to have geological mapping activities and also the calculation of resource values. In this case, it concerns the quantity and quality of deposits to be able to provide information as a mineral database for the community as land owners and is also very useful for the Keerom Regency government. This research aims to determine the amount of limestone volume which can later be used as data base information during mining activities. The research also utilized the Surfer 11 application for the creation of topographic maps and to calculate the number of limestone volumes. The research method that will be carried out is the Cross Section Method which is a special method for types of rock minerals.

Abstract

Ground vibration adalah gelombang yang bergerak didalam tanah disebabkan oleh adanya sumber energi. Ground vibration pada peledakan disebabkan oleh beberapa hal, salah satunya yaitu pemakaian bahan peledak yang berlebihan. Peak Particle Velocity adalah salah satu kriteria untuk menentukan tingkat getaran yang berpengaruh terhadap Low Wall pada lokasi tambang. Dari pengukuran ground vibration dari tanggal 02 – 26 september 2022 dilakukan analisis menggunakan aplikasi Blastware. Hasil analisis adalah persamaan rumus hubungan antara PPV dan scaled distance (SD) yaitu PPV = 18268,2 (SD)-1,725 dengan tingkat kepercayaan data yaitu 0,787 = 78% yang menyatakan bahwa data dapat dipercaya. Persamaan rumus hubungan antara PPV dan SD kemudian digunakan untuk menentukan isian bahan peledak maksimal dan jarak yang aman untuk kegiatan peledakan yang didasarkan standar ground vibration PT. Alamjaya Bara Pratama.Kata Kunci: Ground Vibration, Peledakan, Peak Particle Velocity (PPV).

Abstract

Slope failure along the Jayapura City Ring Road persisted despite shotcrete reinforcement, indicating that instability is not controlled solely by slope geometry or surface confinement. Field evidence points to weakening within foliated metamorphic rocks affected by tropical weathering, where mineral alteration progressively modifies the internal structure. This study examines how mineralogical transformations govern subsurface degradation and contribute to failure beneath reinforced slopes. A case study approach was applied using two representative samples (ST-01 and ST-02) obtained directly from the failure zone. Petrographic analysis of ~30 μm thin sections was conducted to evaluate mineral textures, fabric orientation, and alteration pathways. X-ray diffraction (XRD) was used to identify and semi-quantify the mineral phases, including albite, quartz, chlorite, muscovite, sericite, and magnetite. Subsurface conditions were assessed using ADMT resistivity profiling across a frequency range of 0.0001–10,000 Hz, reaching depths of approximately 300 m. The results indicate a mineralogical transition from a wollastonite–actinolite–chlorite assemblage in ST-01 to a chlorite–muscovite–sericite-dominated system in ST-02. The XRD data show a decrease in albite from ~19.74% to ~11.61%, while an unresolved fraction exceeding ~20% suggests the presence of poorly crystalline phases. Petrographic observations revealed that chlorite and sericite were concentrated along foliation and microfractures. The resistivity data identified a low-resistivity zone (10–20 Ωm) at depths of ~10–60 m, corresponding to altered and fluid-influenced domains. These findings indicate that weathering reduces cohesion along structurally controlled planes while preserving partial framework integrity, shifting the locus of failure to the subsurface beneath the shotcrete layer.

Abstract

Sejak tahun 2021 telah terjadi penurunan produksi ikan nila di Kelurahan Koya Timur, Distrik Muara Tami, Kota Jayapura, Papua. Hal ini diduga terkait dengan kualitas air kolam yang belum sesuai standar. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menilai kualitas air kolam budidaya ikan nila milik kelompok tani Koya Timur. Asesmen dilakukan menggunakan parameter Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) 7550:2009, meliputi suhu, pH, oksigen terlarut, amoniak, dan kecerahan, dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif melalui uji sampel pada delapan kolam dari total enam belas kolam, selama tiga minggu. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa parameter suhu rata-rata masih sesuai dengan standar, yaitu sebesar 29,9°C. Namun, ditemukan satu kolam dengan pH tidak sesuai, yaitu sebesar 9,05. Mayoritas kolam memiliki kadar oksigen terlarut rendah sebesar 2,2mg/L, seluruh kolam menunjukkan kadar amoniak tinggi sebesar 0,25mg/L, serta rata-rata kolam memiliki kecerahan di bawah standar yaitu sebesar 28,1cm. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya upaya perbaikan manajemen kualitas air, antara lain dengan pemantauan pH rutin, penggunaan aerator atau kincir air, penanaman tumbuhan akuatik seperti Lemna minor untuk menurunkan amoniak, serta penerapan filtrasi sederhana.
