Abstract

Leadership theory is a theory that has been studied by many researchers and continues to experience developments to date. The development of this theory of leadership allows this theory to continue to be studied by incorporating other elements as its dimension. Tracking the development of leadership theory, transformational leadership as a theory that became the trend in the leadership of late, in this paper studied from the perspective of gender to find gender aspects of gender characteristics which are more represented by transformational leadership. based on a number of existing studies, it can be concluded that this transformational leadership contains female value so called by some researchers as feminime leadership style. Based on this it can be concluded that the theory of leadership studied with a gender perspective this led to a paradoxical reality, namely where the stereotype of women who at the beginning of the development of leadership theory into glass ceiling for women's career was found as a characteristic of transformational leadership which is currently a leadership style widely embraced because it is considered the most effective.Keywords: theory, Leadership, Gender

Abstract

Advanced school or an international school is a school that has had the confidence to grow and develop into a competitive school, not only at the local and national level, but also in the international arena. In this case the principal plays a major role in orienting the school innovation done so that schools can grow and develop in accordance with the ideals of the school that had been planned. One concrete manifestationof independent schools is able to deliver and facilitate the entire potential learners so that they can develop optimal fit with the talents, interests and abilities of learners.

Abstract

Advances in science and technology is the result of human cultivation must be coordinated in order to comply with national identity, noble values, traditions, culture, and religion. Global phenomenon can not be avoided, processes, dynamics and its influence has been successfully castrated traditions and noble values of religious Muslims today. Educational values of Islam today is getting late in the tumult of various changes that are the result of the influence of globalization. Globalization has become a historical necessity that many challenges (threat) also opportunities (opportunity) in education that will shake up the order of the culture, customs, and values of the noble teachings of Islam. Therefore reformatting the theory and practice of education should be carried out and balanced, so that Islamic education is not passive as a spectator instead of a player, as consumers rather than producers. Islamic education also must perform and portray themselves as agents of change while strengthening Islamic identity. For the creation of a Muslim who is not only a knowledge of general (or vice versa), but also excels in the science of religion, so that it can perform with good mobility and orderly life. The position of Islamic education is compulsory maintain selective, critical, and open to the emergence of globalization. In addition, it should also remain consistent with the main source of religion, namely the Qur'an and Hadith while expanding the knowledge and understanding of the progress of time, modernity, the findings of science and technology

Abstract

This study delves into the educational philosophy of Paulo Freire, emphasizing its humanistic roots and exploring its intersections with Christian, Marxist, existentialist, phenomenological, and personalist philosophies. Influenced by liberation theology figures like Gustavo GutiƩrrez, Freire envisioned education as a tool for conscientization, aiming to cultivate critical awareness among the oppressed. Freire's humanistic approach faces criticism, particularly concerning the ambiguity of its goals and potential psychological disturbances. The research methodology is rooted in an extensive literature review, incorporating both primary and secondary data sources. Primary data stems from direct references relevant to the research topic, such as scholarly journals and articles, while secondary data is derived from existing literature to construct a solid conceptual framework. Appropriate data analysis tools aligning with research objectives are employed to systematically evaluate the collected information. This methodology aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the theories and concepts essential to the research. The outcomes and discussions underscore the fundamental disparities between Freire's humanistic education and Islamic perspectives. While Freire advocates for critical consciousness and social liberation, Islam centers its education on the Quran and Hadith, emphasizing moral and spiritual responsibilities as Khalifah. Islam interprets freedom as the pursuit of goodness guided by divine revelations, rejecting liberal interpretations. The study concludes by accentuating the stark differences in worldview and values between Freirean humanism and Islamic education, shedding light on the diverse philosophical foundations underpinning these approaches.
