Abstract

ABSTRAKLingkungan Warung Kopat Kalipuro merupakan daerah penghasil kelapa di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Warga di Lingkungan Warung Kopat Kalipuro mayoritas menjadi petani kelapa. Warga menjual kelapa yang dihasilkan dalam bentuk kopra sehingga menghasilkan limbah sabut kelapa yang melimpah tanpa adanya pengolahan. Limbah sabut kelapa ini oleh warga hanya ditumpuk sampai membusuk atau dibakar sehingga menghasilkan polusi udara. Melalui program pemberdayaan masyarakat ini dilakukan penerapan teknologi tepat guna untuk mengolah limbah sabut kelapa tersebut menjadi kerajinan tangan yang bernilai tinggi dan bermanfaat sebagai media edukasi pertanian kepada masyarakat luas. Teknologi tepat guna yang diterapkan adalah megolah sabut kelapa menjadi boneka edukatif. Karena boneka edukatif merupakan hasil dari kerajinan tangan dari sabut kelapa maka tergolong produk ramah lingkungan dan dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan edukasi pengenalan ekosistem sederhana dengan adanya tumbuhan yang tumbuh pada boneka edukasi tersebut. Metode yang digunakan pada pemberdayaan masyarakat ini adalah dengan metode ceramah dengan memvariasikannya dengan  tanya jawab/ diskusi serta praktek guna memantapkan apa yang dipaparkan secara teoritik. Hasil telah dicapai adalah 1. Adanya peningkatan pemahaman warga Lingkungan Warung Kopat Kalipuro terkait pengolahan limbah sabut kelapa, 2. Terjadi peningkatan keterampilan membuat boneka edukatif dari limbah sabut kelapa, 3. Adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan warga Lingkungan Kopat Kalipuro terkait digital marketing produk boneka edukatif..Kata kunci: boneka edukatif; digital marketing; sabut kelapa ABSTRACTBanyuwangi Regency's Warung Kopat Kalipuro is a coconut-producing region. Coconut farmers make up the majority of the population in the Warung Kopat Kalipuro area. Locals produce coconuts and sell them as copra, which generates a lot of waste coconut fiber without any processing. Locals merely stack their discarded coconut fiber till it burns or rots, polluting the air. Through this initiative of community empowerment, leftover coconut fiber is processed using appropriate technology to create high-value handicrafts that can serve as a platform for educating the general public about agriculture. Using the right technology, Educational dolls made from coconut fiber are being produced. Educational dolls are categorized as ecologically friendly products since they are handcrafted from coconut fiber and can be used as educational materials to introduce rudimentary ecosystems through the plants that grow on them. The lecture approach is employed in community empowerment, with modifications made for Q&A/discussions and practice to help solidify theoretical information. The outcomes are: 1. An improvement in the knowledge of the Warung Kopat Kalipuro neighborhood residents regarding the processing of waste coconut fiber; 2. An improvement in the ability to create educational dolls from waste coconut fiber; 3. The knowledge and proficiency of the people living in the Kopat Kalipuro area with regard to digital marketing of educational doll items has increased. Keywords: educational doll; digital marketing; coconut fiber waste

Abstract

Pada Gedung 454 Politeknik Negeri Banyuwangi dengan tinggi 4 lantai pada gedung A dan C, tinggi 5 lantai pada gedung B masih menggunakan tangga sebagai alat transportasi vertikal untuk perpindahan dari setiap lantainya, perlu adanya sistem transportasi vertikal yang efisien dan lift menjadi solusi yang tepat untuk mendukung seluruh aktivitas pada Gedung 454 Politeknik Negeri Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini merujuk pada standar perencanaan lift SNI 03-6573-2001 dan data jumlah penghuni gedung pada Gedung 454 Politeknik Negeri Banyuwangi serta fungsi setiap ruangan sehingga diharapkan akan mempermudah dalam pengolahan data. Pada penelitian ini permasalahan yang akan dibahas adalah menghitung kapasitas dan jumlah lift yang dibutuhkan pada Gedung 454 Politeknik Negeri Banyuwangi. Perhitungan kapasitas dan jumlah lift dengan luasan per lantai 2.476 m2, tinggi 4 lantai pada gedung A dan C, tinggi 5 lantai untuk gedung B. Hasil perhitungan ini menunjukan bahwa lift yang dibutuhkan sebanyak 3 unit dengan kapasitas 15 orang (1000 kg) dan kecepatan 1 m/s mempunyai jumlah maksimal penghuni 3.211 orang, waktu perjalanan bolak balik 89 detik, beban puncak lift 153 orang, daya angkut lift dalam 5 menit 51 orang, waktu tunggu lift 31 detik. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan lift Gedung 454 menunjukan bahwa telah memenuhi standar SNI 03-6573-2001 dengan ketentuan waktu tunggu Gedung Kantor Instansi 30-40 detik.

Abstract

Reduced graphene oxide (rGO) phase from coconut shell charcoal through heating using either a furnace or an artificial burner has been successfully formed. Heating was carried out through 2 temperature variations, namely 500 and 1000ᵒC, with a holding time of 5 hours. Heating through an artificial burner is carried out using used fuel oil equipped with a thermostat to measure the temperature. Phase identification was carried out using Xrays Diffraction Spectroscopy (XRD) testing with an angle of 2θ, namely 15-50ᵒ. The diffraction pattern shows that all samples have rGO phases with different intensity values. The higher the temperature, the greater the intensity value compared to the other samples. This intensity value indicates an increase in the sample's crystallinity due to an increase in temperature.

Abstract

The Red Building of Foundation Mabadi’ul Ihsan functioned as an educational facility for both school and university-level activities, consisting of five floors in the central area and seven floors on the sides. Currently, the building lacks a vertical transportation system such as an elevator, which is essential to support vertical mobility, especially considering the high volume of daily activity and the accessibility needs of its users. This study aims to calculate the required number and capacity of elevators based on SNI 03-6573-2001, the Indonesian national standard for planning vertical transportation systems in buildings. This standard provides technical guidelines for calculating, installing, and operating elevators to ensure safety, efficiency, and user comfort. The research methodology includes literature review, preliminary surveys, data collection, data analysis, result discussion, and the formulation of conclusions and recommendations. Through this structured approach, the study seeks to determine accurate elevator requirements tailored to the building’s capacity and usage. The final outcome is expected to serve as a practical recommendation for the building management in considering the implementation of elevators. By doing so, the overall comfort and accessibility for students, faculty, and visitors can be significantly improved, thereby enhancing the effectiveness and inclusiveness of educational activities within the facility.
