Abstract

This study aims to provide an empirical explanation of the effect of Investment, Economic Growth, Inflation, Minimum Wage and HDI on Open Unemployment in Kalimantan Region. The research method used is panel data regression analysis method using Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The type of data used is secondary data. Secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Kalimantan Region. The data that has been collected is then analyzed with panel data regression using the Fixed Effect Model where this model uses the Chow Test and Hausman Test to see the Effect of Investment, Economic Growth, Inflation, Minimum Wage and HDI on Open Unemployment in Kalimantan Region using Stata 16.0 software. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that Investment, Economic Growth, Inflation, Minimum Wage and HDI have a significant effect on Open Unemployment in Kalimantan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of MSMEs in the city of Palangka Raya and analyze the strategy of developing MSMEs in the city of Palangka Raya based on the internal and external situation of MSMEs. The sample used in this study amounted to 45 MSMEs in the city of Palangka Raya. The types of data used are primary and secondary data. This study uses descriptive analysis tools, environmental analysis (internal and external), and SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of MSMEs in Palangka Raya City are more dominant in the trading business sector with a percentage reaching 71.25%. In determining the MSMEs development strategy in Palangka Raya City, it is seen based on environmental analysis and SWOT analysis, which shows the position is in quadrant I where market penetration and product development are strategies that can be used, then the SO (Strengths-Opportunities) strategy is a strategy that uses strength to take advantage of existing opportunities, expand distribution reach and establish cooperative/partnership relationships as alternative strategies in this analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Percapita Income, Inflation, Interest Rates and the Dependency Ratio on Total Public Savings and Economic Growth in Districts/Cities of Central Kalimantan Province. The method used in this study is path analysis with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics version 26 program. Path analysis is a method used to determine the direct and indirect relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable in the presence of a connecting variable. The data used in this study is a type of secondary data. Where these data are obtained from publications by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and Bank Indonesia (BI). The results of this analysis show that percapita income directly has a positive and significant effect on the amount of people's savings. Inflation directly has a negative and insignificant effect on the amount of public savings. Interest rates directly have a positive and insignificant effect on the amount of people's savings. The dependency ratio has a direct and significant negative effect on the amount of people's savings. Percapita income directly has a positive and insignificant effect on economic growth. Inflation has a direct and significant negative effect on economic growth. Interest rates have a direct and significant negative effect on economic growth. The dependency ratio directly has a negative and insignificant effect on economic growth. The amount of public savings has a direct and significant negative effect on economic growth. Per capita income does not directly affect economic growth through the amount of public savings. Inflation does not directly affect economic growth through the amount of public savings. Interest rates indirectly do not affect economic growth through the amount of public savings. The dependency ratio does not directly affect economic growth through the amount of public savings.

Abstract

Technology is changing the times, and in the future this change is accompanied by an increase in diverse needs and desires, especially shopping needs. Related to this, it also affects the behavior patterns of consumers who make decisions in buying a product. The company has the opportunity to make a profit to maintain its business continuity if the level of sales to consumers is high, whereas if the level of sales to consumers is low, the company will lose money and will ultimately fail to survive. Market competition expects companies to find ways to make their products sell well in the market and have a place in the hearts of buyers. The results of the literature review show that product, price, and promotion affect consumer behavior. This is expected to provide insight to marketers to understand and meet consumer preferences and develop more effective strategies to optimize the most influential marketing variables. Abstract

The rattan MSME business has long been part of the handicraft industry in Gunung Mas. However, this business is still faced with various challenges such as intense competition, limited raw materials, and a lack of understanding of the market. This study aims to evaluate the potential and challenges in the MSME rattan business in Gunung Mas. The research was conducted through interviews with several rattan MSME business owners and secondary data analysis. The results of the study show that the business potential of rattan SMEs in Gunung Mas is still quite large, especially because rattan is a raw material that is easy to obtain in Gunung Mas and has high aesthetic value. However, this business is faced with very tight competition from cheaper imported rattan products. In addition, the lack of understanding of markets and modern technology is a challenge that must be faced by MSME rattan business owners in Gunung Mas. Based on the results of this study, rattan MSME business owners need to improve their understanding of modern markets and technology and develop more effective marketing strategies. In addition, the government and the community need to provide support and appreciation for local rattan products as an effort to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of rattan MSME businesses in Gunung Mas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Investasi dan Upah Minimum terhadap Pertumbuhan sektor industri dan penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor industri. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa data panel Kabupaten/Kota yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik Kalimantan Tengah. Data sekunder yang digunakan adalah tahun 2014-2022. Analisis data menggunakan Analisis Jalur (Path Analysis), dari hasil analisis diketahui Investasi dan Upah Minimum berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Pertumbuhan Sektor Industri. Investasi dan Pertumbuhan sektor industri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Penyerapan Tenaga Kerja Sektor Industri secara langsung, sedangkan Upah Minimum tidak berpengaruh signifikan namun positif terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja. Investasi berpengaruh secara tidak langsung dan signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja melalui Pertumbuhan sektor industri dan Upah Minimum Investasi berpengaruh secara tidak langsung dan signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja melalui Pertumbuhan sektor industri.
