Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of plant spacing and concentration of liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and production of kale nero larinato (Brassica oleracea var. palmifolia) in the lowlands. This study used a split plot design consisting of two factors, namely: spacing with 3 levels and concentration of liquid organic fertilizer with 4 levels, and 3 replications. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, root length, wet weight, and dry weight. The results showed that there was no significant effect on the two treatments of spacing and concentration of liquid organic fertilizer. The interaction of plant spacing treatment at a level of 20 x 25 cm and a concentration of liquid organic fertilizer at a level of 20 ml/l gave a significantly different effect on plant height at 48 DAP.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of tuber cutting and paclobutrazol concentration to the growth and yield of onion plants (Allium Ascalonicum L,). The results of this study are 1.Cutting tubers (M) gives a noticeable effect, 2.The treatment of paclobutrazol concentration (P) had a significant effect on the use of paclobutrazol with a concentration of 40 ppm (P2) gave the best results on each parameter including the number of leaves 6 MST, 3. Cutting tubers and paclobutrazol concentration treatment did not show interactions on the growth and yield of onion plants on all observed parameters. This research was conducted in the rice fields of Mranggon Lawang Village, Dringu District, Probolinggo Regency. This study used the factorial Group Randomized Design (RAK) research method with 2 factors, namely factor I Tuber Cutting (M) with 3 levels of treatment, factor II concentration of Paclobutrazol (P) with 4 levels of treatment. The analysis used is a mathematical model with F test, followed by BNT distance test at 5% level.  Keywords: Cutting bulbs, paclobutrazol concentration, onion. INTISARI Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pemotongan umbi dan konsentrasi paclobutrazol terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah (Allium Ascalonicum L,). Hasil penelitian ini yaitu 1.      Pemotongan umbi (M) memberikan pengaruh nyata, 2. Perlakuan konsentrasi paclobutrazol (P) memberikan pengaruh nyata pada penggunaan paclobutrazol dengan konsentrasi 40 ppm (P2) memberikan hasil terbaik pada setiap parameter diantaranya jumlah daun 6 MST, 3.Pemotongan umbi dan perlakuan konsentrasi paclobutrazol tidak  menunjukan  interaksi  pada  pertumbuhan  dan  hasil tanaman bawang merah pada semua parameter pengamatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lahan sawah Desa Mranggon Lawang Kecamatan Dringu Kabupaten Probolinggo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan 2 faktor yaitu faktor I Pemotongan Umbi (M) dengan 3 taraf perlakuan, faktor II konsentrasi Paclobutrazol (P) dengan 4 taraf perlakuan. Analisa yang digunakan yaitu model matematis dengan uji F, yang dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT jarak pada taraf 5%. Kata Kunci : Pemotongan Umbi, Kosentrasi Paclobutrazol, Bawang Merah.
