Abstract

PIA mentoring during Lent-Easter Liturgical year C with the method of expression based on children's stories. The purpose of this research is to 1) find out the implementation of Faith Assistance for Children in the Kedu Kevikepan District, 2) find out if the teaching materials for Child Faith Assistance during Lent-Easter Liturgical year C are valid. There is a problem that the PIA mentoring material module is limited. Many assistants do not have a Catholic religious education background and their abilities to facilitate are different. In PIA activities, it is very necessary for mentoring activities such as listening to stories, reading scriptures, games, dancing, singing. Seeing this situation, the researchers used the method of expression with children's stories. This research is a way to find out the teaching materials for PIA mentoring during Lent-Easter Liturgical year C have been valid and suitable to be used in Faith Assistance for Children in the Kedu Kevikepan District. This study uses research and development (R and D) according to Brog and Gall. The technique used is purposive sampling. Taking a sample of 10 people consisting of PIA assistants in the Kedu vikepan, parents, elementary and kindergarten teachers and Catholic religion teachers. Validation is carried out to validate PIA mentoring materials. The validation results obtained an average of 4.6 based on the validation tests carried out. Mentoring materials showed a significant increase in results. The feasibility test for mentoring materials is carried out by conducting FGD (Forum Group Discussion) with valid results and can be used properly and well in the PIA mentoring process in Kedu Kevikepan.

Abstract

The role of parent at st. Benedictus gulf of Siak Estate is less serious than entertaining the Catholic faith in paiding. preparing children for the first communion. Often children who should be able to receive communion are, in fact, unable to accept it because parents are busy with their work or the child himself is not asking the parents to take the first communion preparation. Research aims to review the practical roles of parents with children, to know inhibitors and supportive factors and to know the steps to improving parenting. Research indicates that parents perform a child's side by taking part in the first communion study, inviting children to the celebration of the Eucharist and teaching reverence before and after receiving holy communion, and actively inviting children to join spiritual activities in the church, both in the ward and at home. Abstract

In general, the application of teaching methods and devices in the classroom is still not optimal due to the lack of literature on PAK. Seeing the situation at Sint Louis High School, students are said to be quite heterogeneous so teachers need to prepare appropriate teaching tools. However, the problem is that the development of teaching materials in the new curriculum is still not optimal so that many students experience boredom and less than the maximum attitude of mutual cooperation with friends. The aims of this study were 1) to find out the effect of mutual cooperation on learning achievement using the TPS method assisted by teaching materials containing P3, 2) to find out changes in learning achievement using the TPS method, and 3) to find out the differences in student achievement using the TPS method to achieve mastery. This research is a type of experimental quantitative research, the results of this study show that 1) the average N-Gain score of the experimental class is 72.2 or 72.2%, so the N-Gain is quite effective in increasing student learning achievement, 2) there is a difference in achievement student learning by increasing the mean post-test score which was initially 60.1, after the posttest assessment the average was 88.27, and 3) the results of the simple regression test by testing the variable x (mutual cooperation) on y (learning achievement) showed a positive effect of 86.4%. So, it was concluded that the TPS method assisted by teaching materials based on the Pancasila Student Profile was effective for PAK learning. Suggestions are that teachers and students are able to develop teaching materials and learning media that are creative and of high quality to be given to students

Abstract

Education has a very important and fundamental role for the future generations of a nation and state. Critical reasoning skills are very important for students to have in learning. Based on the results of observations and interviews conducted with Yos Sudarso Indramayu Junior High School teachers, information was obtained that students were passive in participating in learning, this was evident in the low interest in asking questions, arguing, and taking initiative during learning. This research aims to offer CTL methods in order to create more interactive learning so that students can bring learning activities to life, analyze the material to see its integrity with their daily lives. This research uses a kunatitaif approach with the application of experiments. The subjects of this study were seventh grade students of SMP Yos Sudarso Indramayu. Data collection techniques using observation / observation and student learning outcomes test.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes are very low due to the lack of use of interesting methods in learning activities. The research aims to: 1) Find out whether the PBL method can achieve the learning achievement targets for class IV students, 2) find out the increase in learning achievement for class IV students before and after the PBL method is implemented, 3) Find out the influence of the mutual cooperation aspect in learning using the PBL method on learning achievement fourth grade students. Experimental quantitative assessment using one class. There were 20 samples in the experimental class. The results of the study explain that: 1) the average posttest learning achievement increased through the use of the PBL method thereby increasing the class average by 87, 2) there was an increase in learning achievement from pretest to posttest in the experimental class by 68%, including quite effective use of the PBL method, and 3) there is a positive influence of the mutual cooperation aspect on learning achievement of 86.1%. Conclusion: The mutual cooperation aspect using the PBL method influences student learning outcomes and this research can also be used as a reference to develop further discussion.

Abstract

The world of education in the era of disruption no longer makes teachers and students the only source of knowledge. The era of digitalization will have an impact on students' wrong steps if they are not accompanied by teachers and parents. In the era of disruption, everything can happen very quickly with work leaps that are no longer linear. The purpose of this work is to describe how to position students to build character in entering the era of disruption in absorbing knowledge. The focus of the discussion includes the conditions and tendencies of students in the era of disruption, character education with levels through social networks, learning media for character education in the era of disruption, and synergies in controlling student work patterns. The condition of students in this era of disruption is creative in finding information, as well as the tendency to like news, whether it's true or not, and going viral. Student assistance in the era of disruption is carried out by utilizing social networks. Social networks provide opportunities, space, and movement in facilitating student work on independent and group assignments. The results of the assignment are manifested in the form of reports, presentations, and others as a form of controlled character strengthening development. Character education learning is carried out in a tiered focus so that changes in student behavior will appear in their daily lives. Cooperation in completing tasks is a strength. This situation is able to increase innovation and can synergize. Control of changes in student behavior can be done after carrying out certain tasks / jobs. Thus the form of assistance above is used as an instrument of evaluation and control.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the low learning outcomes of students are caused by students having difficulty relating and understanding the meaning of the scriptures in examples of daily life, the lack of attention of students when the teacher gives explanations related to learning materials, the learning method used by the teacher is the lecture method so that learning be focused on the teacher only (teacher-centered). This study aims to: 1) to determine the effect of student collaboration using the STAD method assisted by LKS on student learning outcomes, 2) to determine the difference in learning outcomes after and before using the STAD method assisted by LKS, 3) to determine the effectiveness of the STAD method assisted by LKS on student learning outcomes. This type of research is pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. This study used only one group, namely the experimental group and the sample used was 10 people, namely, grade 3 SD Kebon Dalem Semarang. This group used 2 measurements, namely the pretest was carried out to determine the students' initial understanding before the LKS-assisted STAD method was applied, then the posttest was carried out after the LKS-assisted STAD method was applied. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that: 1) there was an effect of student collaboration using the STAD method assisted by LKS by 82%, 2) there was a significant difference in the application of the STAD method assisted by LKS on learning outcomes, seen from the acquisition of a sig (2- tailed) score of 0.000 means accepting H1 and rejecting H0, 3) ​​an increase in learning outcomes with an interpretation of the effectiveness of N-Gain by 74% is included in the category of quite effective in using the STAD method assisted by LKS.

Abstract

Concern about student learning outcomes in affective and cognitive aspects is urgent in efforts to raise a young generation with noble and religious morals. The problem of low learning outcomes in Catholic Religious Education which has not yet reached the target of student learning completeness and low moral aspects in humans is a concern. This research was designed to overcome this problem by applying the Discovery Learning learning model. This model emphasizes the active role of students in learning, with the teacher acting as a facilitator. The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes in affective aspects, especially morals, and cognitive aspects. This research is classroom action research designed in two cycles, with data collection through observation, interviews, documentation and tests. Indicators of observing morals in humans include 1) Identifying similarities with other people; 2) Make it happen in group activities; 3) Recognize various possible interpretations; 4) Viewing things from other people's perspectives; 5) Identify the goodness and strengths of the people around you. The achievement targets in this research are: 10% Developing According to Expectations and 90% Very Developing. Meanwhile, the cognitive aspect assessment achievement indicators include 90-100 = Proficient, 80-89 = Proficient, 65-79 = Adequate, 0-64 = Medium, with an achievement target of 10% Adequate, 90% Proficient. The results of the research show that the Discovery Learning Model in Catholic Religious Education learning is proven to be able to increase the dimensions of faith, devotion to God Almighty, and noble character in the matter of living in the Holy Spirit, namely from cycle 1 to 2 by 28% and the target achievement and learning achievement values ​​of students in cycle I from 75% adequate, 25% proficient, 0% proficient in cycle II to 75% proficient and 25% proficient. Finally, this research suggests using the Discovery Learning model as an effort to improve the Pancasila Student Profile in the learning process.

Abstract

The results of observations regarding student creativity in teaching and learning activities at UPTD SD Negeri 076716 Lolohia Nias Barat, especially in the subjects of Catholic Religious Education and Character Education, are very lacking, as well as learning outcomes that have not reached the predetermined target, only 55% have completed the KKM. The aim of this research is to improve creative and cognitive aspects by applying the Discovery Learning phase C learning method for class 5 UPTD SD Negeri 076716 Lolohia Nias Barat. This Classroom Action Research (PTK) consists of 4 stages, namely, planning, implementation, evaluation, reflection and 2 cycles. The research subjects were 6 Class 5 Face C students. Obtaining data: 1) observation with indicators of observing the creative aspect of the Pancasila Student Profile (P3): generating original ideas, clarifying statements, asking many questions, seeing things from different perspectives, applying ideas according to the context and coming up with various alternative solutions, and 2) material learning outcomes test with achievement targets of 40% proficient, 40% proficient, 20 adequate, 0% just developing. The research results showed: There was an increase in the creative aspect of P3 from cycle 1, an average of 55.6% with the developing category, cycle 2 with an average of 91.00% in the very developing category. In terms of learning achievement, there has been an increase in the number of achievement targets from proficient 40% to 60%, proficient 40% to 40%. Suggestion: in the process of teaching and learning activities, teachers should apply a variety of learning methods and plan one dimension of the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

The results of observations regarding student creativity in teaching and learning activities at Santo Antonius Bangun Mulia Elementary School, Medan, especially in the subjects of Catholic Religious Education and Character, are very lacking, as well as learning outcomes that have not reached the predetermined target, only % complete KKM. The aim of this research is to improve creative and cognitive aspects by applying the Problem Based Learning learning method phase C for class 5 at Santo Antonius Bangun Mulia Elementary School, Medan. This Classroom Action Research (PTK) consists of 4 stages, namely, planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection. The research subjects were 25 Class 5 A Face C students. Obtaining data by: 1) observation with observation indicators Pancasila Student Profile dimensions of faith and devotion to God Almighty and having noble character (P3): Understanding the main elements of religious beliefs, Recognizing the role of religious beliefs in life, Understanding religious moral teachings, Implementing worship regularly, pray independently, celebrate religious holidays, understand the meaning of the holidays and 2) test material learning results with achievement targets: Proficient 35%, Proficient 55%, Adequate 10%, only 0% developed. The research results showed: There was an increase in the creative aspect of P3 from cycle 1 to 2 by 5.7%. In terms of the learning achievement aspect, there was an increase in the number of achievement targets from proficient 32% to 56%, proficient 36% to 24% decent 32% to 20%. Suggestion: in the process of teaching and learning activities, teachers should apply a variety of learning methods and plan one dimension of the Pancasila Student Profile.
