Abstract

The research was conducted with the intention of seeing the effectiveness of behavioural counselling theory with self-management techniques in the improvement of student study discipline. In the design of this study, a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent post-test control group design was used. Participants were 10th grade students from SMK Negeri 2 Singaraja. The sampling was carried out by means of random sampling of the class as an attack group. As for the members of the sample are students of class X kuliner 5 and X kuliner 6, total 69 people as experimental and control class. The method used to analyse the data is the t-hit test using the program SPSS v.25 for Windows. The data collection instrument used is the study discipline questionnaire. This study uses behavior theory with self-management techniques to improve learning discipline among students in grade X in SMK Negeri 2 Singaraja. Based on the results of this study, t=2.705 and ES=0.64, p<0.05, we can accept Ha and reject Ho.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the validity and effectiveness of cognitive behavioral counseling guidance books with cognitive restructuring techniques in increasing academic resilience of high school students, this research was carried out based on the 4D development procedure by Thiagarajan. This study involved 5 experts in the field of Counseling Guidance, who evaluated the counseling manual theoretically, and involved 33 students as respondents to the counseling guidance books effectiveness trial. Data analysis related to the validity and effectiveness of the guidebook was carried out using the calculation of the Content Validity Ratio, Content Validity Index, and t-test. The results of the CVR analysis showed that all questionnaire item statements were accepted and the CVI calculation results were 0.94 in the very good category. The results of the effectiveness test of the guidebook that was carried out on 33 students in 11th grade with a one group pre-test and post-test design, showed that the use of the cognitive behavioral counseling guidebook with cognitive restructuring techniques was effective in increasing the academic resilience of high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a group counseling guidebook with role playing techniques to improve interpersonal intelligence of high school students, as well as to test the content validity and test the effectiveness of the developed guidebook. The research and development procedure by used the 4D method (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Tthe validity contents test of the guidebook based on three aspects, namely the usability aspect, the feasibility aspect, and the accuracy aspect. Result of the validity test by experts and practitioners were analyzed using CVI (Content Validity Index) obtained value of 0.77, this stated that the guidebook being developed had a content validity index categorized as very appropriate. To find out the effectiveness of implementation of the guidebook was obtained with through the one group pretest-posttest experimental were analyzed by applying the t-test formula. Result of the effectiveness test get Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001 which means the application of group counseling guidebooks with role playing techniques is effective to improve interpersonal intelligence of high school students.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of producing a product in the form of a Self-efficacy Instrument for Grade VIII students of junior high schools in Kediri Regency. This study uses research with R&D research methods. The sampling technique uses a proportional stratified random sampling technique with a minimum sample of 175 students in 4 schools in the Kediri Regency, namely SMPN 1 Papar, SMPN 2 Papar, SMP Islam Kepung, SMPN 1 Gampengrejo. Then for the results of the CVR, a ΣCVR of 47.6 was obtained. And a CVI value of 0.95 which is categorized as "very high/relevant". Based on the broad empirical validity test in this development research involving a total of 175 students in testing the empirical validity level (main try out) using the SPSS program with the Pearson Correlation Product Moment test, it can be concluded that the 50 statement items on the self-efficacy scale have r count ( total correlation) > from 0.148 based on table r count with N = 175. So it can be interpreted that on the self-efficacy scale it has a valid or used status. Based on the reliability test, it showed that the reliability coefficient of the self-efficacy instrument obtained a result of 0.960. From this it can be concluded that this self-efficacy instrument has a very high level of interpretation. It can be concluded that this instrument is feasible to use and disseminate.
