Abstract

At that time Century Bank attracted a lot of public attention because it was a bank affected by the monetary crisis, based on Article 1 Number 24 of Law Number 10 of 1998 concerning Amendments to Law Number 7 of 1992 concerning Banking. What is meant by the Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS) is a legal entity that carries out guarantee activities for the deposits of deposit customers through insurance schemes, buffer funds, or other schemes. The Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS) is an independent body tasked with protecting the security of customer funds stored in banks. This research aims to find out what the roles and functions of the Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS) are, as well as how the Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS) resolves the Century Bank case. The research method used is normative juridical, where the researcher uses references to books, journals and laws in it. This research found that the Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS) guarantees and is active in maintaining the banking system in Indonesia, apart from that the Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS) finally took over 90% of Bank Century and re-branded it as Bank Mutiara.

Abstract

In this discussion, the author refers to what desertion is, and how to regulate and resolve desertions committed by military members. The author uses a normative juridical research method where the researcher uses studies from legal sources such as laws, journal papers and books. Desertion is an act of a military member leaving his duties and responsibilities without official permission or a valid reason. This desertion is resolved through the Military Court and carries out a whole series of trials until finally the member is proven guilty of committing the crime of desertion or not.

Abstract

A notary is a professional in the legal field who plays an important role in creating legal certainty and assisting the public in various civil legal matters. On this occasion, the author discusses how important the role of the professional code of ethics is for Notaries and how violations are sanctioned for Notaries. By using a normative juridical research method where the author uses studies from existing legal sources, the researcher found that in implementing the code of ethics for Notaries it is very important to maintain public trust in the profession and the sanctions that will be imposed on a Notary who violates it can be in the form of demands or revocation of rights and dismissal in a respectful or dishonorable manner.
