Abstract

Religion, peace, and human rights are three very important and complex topics. Religion often provides moral guidance, values, and meaning in life for many people. Besides being a source of strength, peace, and solidarity, it can also cause division if differences are not faced with tolerance. Peace is a harmonious state where conflicts are resolved without violence. Peace is often achieved through dialogue, understanding, and cooperation. Human rights are basic principles that guarantee every individual inalienable rights, such as freedom, equality, and dignity. The three are closely interconnected. When human rights are respected and protected, peace is more likely to be achieved, and religion can play a positive role in building a more just and harmonious society. This study aims to reveal a limited picture of the thematic interpretation of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs (Depag) regarding peace and human rights in its efforts to make religion a source of harmony among people, both nationally and globally. The method used in this study is qualitative, focusing on the thematic interpretation of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs (Depag) regarding Peace and Human Rights with a text analysis approach. From this study, it was found that the thematic interpretation by Depag provides guidance for its readers to always practice religion moderately so that the peaceful values of Islam can always be embodied in the actions of every Muslim.

Abstract

LAZISMU (Lembaga Amil Zakat, Infaq, and Shadaqah Muhammadiyah) has shown significant performance in poverty alleviation in Indonesia from an Islamic economic perspective. Through transparent and accountable management of zakat, infaq, and shadaqah, LAZISMU is able to distribute targeted assistance to people in need. This research analyzes the performance of LAZISMU (Lembaga Amil Zakat, Infaq, dan Shadaqah Muhammadiyah) in poverty alleviation from an Islamic economic perspective using SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). This method helps identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by LAZISMU in the implementation of its social programs. The results of the analysis show that LAZISMU has strengths in its extensive network and support from the community as well as Muhammadiyah organizations, which gives it legitimacy and high trust. However, weaknesses such as limited human resources and non-optimal management are still a challenge. Great opportunities lie in the increasing public awareness of the importance of zakat and infaq, as well as government support in the economic empowerment of the people. Threats faced include competition with other amil zakat institutions and changes in government policies that may affect LAZISMU's operations. With the right approach and grounded in Islamic economic principles, LAZISMU has great potential to contribute significantly to poverty alleviation in Indonesia

Abstract

Those adherents of liberalism and religious secularism should not enter into personal affairs, it should not be mixed with the study of science at all. People like Karl Mark, Durheim, and Weber became his reference, they all agreed to marginalize religion from modern life. The separation of religion and science seems to be a necessity that is currently inherited and applied in scientific life massively. But now, in today's civilization, the separation between religion and science is considered a mistake. They realize it even though they are still shy about admitting it, in Islam itself, there is no postulate that science is separated from religious science because for Islam the origin of the two is one, that is, the creator. This is what underlies some scientists to see religion with the effectiveness of science and vice versa. In Indonesia, especially some scientists with different backgrounds try to see the Quran from the perspective of scientists they have and try to present the Quran with a logical and rational view to grow and strengthen the faith. This research is qualitative research with analysis texts approach, the primary source of this study is the work of Indonesian scientists and their study of the Quran, and the data taken comes from literature reviews. The results of this study state that even the study of religion and science is not contradictory and appropriate in modern civilization today.
