Abstract

Modernization and secularization are two interrelated concepts in the development of Islamic thought in Indonesia. Modernization refers to efforts to update Islamic teachings and adapt them to current developments, while secularization refers to the separation of religion and state. The movement to modernize Islamic thought in Indonesia began in the 19th century as a response to the challenges of the Western world. At this time, Indonesian Muslims began to realize that they were lagging behind the Western world in terms of science, technology and politics. To compensate for this, Muslims began to develop new ideas that could bring Islam into the modern era. Modernization and secularization are two important concepts in the development of Islamic thought in Indonesia Modernization has made Indonesian Muslims think rationally and adapt to current developments, Meanwhile, secularization has enabled Muslims in Indonesia to separate religion and politics and play a more effective role in nation-building.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how education in the Hadith is evaluated in one of the studies that employs a case study methodology in conjunction with literature review research. The purpose of this work is to explain the idea of educational evaluation from a Hadith perspective. details regarding the outcomes and calculate the value based on the information. Every action should be evaluated since it is via evaluation that the worth of the work done may be ascertained using the data collected. Islam sees education as having components, purposes, and goals that must all be met in order to be evaluated. Excellent comprehension of the subject matter, behavioral development, and student insights and habits as benchmarks for next year's educational improvements.

Abstract

In the Middle Ages, Islamic education began to decline gradually. On the other hand, Sufi education developed rapidly. This is in line with the situation where Muslims were destroyed by politics, Islam increasingly developed fatalism, thus making Muslims increasingly vulnerable to frustration and stagnation. and division. Intellectual education in the Middle Ages took over the development of the Western world until the Eastern world only accepted the Sufi way of thinking. In its golden age, Muslims were always united and complemented each other. After that, Islamic education no longer led to the development of Islamic civilization which Naturally, therefore this document talks about aspects of Islamic education and civilization which are increasingly deteriorating and weakening.
