Abstract

This independent curriculum program encourages teachers to improve the learning creativity of children of this age through loose part media. This research also aims to gain insight into how the use of Loose Parts media can improve the development of early childhood creativity at RA ASY-SYI''AR, Bandar Masilam District. This research was conducted through direct observation of learning activities in the classroom, observation data sources in the form of interviews with class teachers and parents of RA ASY-SYI''AR students. Based on the percentage results from several sources, the researcher concluded that the loose part game is a learning media that uses used materials in increasing creativity in early childhood, the use of loose part learning media can facilitate children in expressing their creativity through their imaginative and creative ideas. The loose parts method used at RA ASY-SYI''AR can increase creativity in children because it can give children the freedom to explore directly and can stimulate children's curiosity about something new.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to document and analyze the experience and impact of using picture card technology to increase children's interest in reading. Descriptive qualitative research allows researchers to thoroughly understand how children engage and respond to this learning approach. As part of this study, several young children were provided with a learning environment enriched with picture cards. Data was collected through participant observation, interviews with teachers and children, and recording of learning activities.We then used a thematic coding process to identify patterns, themes and other key elements that emerged as children navigated their learning strategies. The research showed that picture cards made young children more interested in reading. Children's comprehension of stories increased, their creativity in connecting pictures and words increased, and their enthusiasm for reading activities increased. In addition, the results revealed qualitative elements in the learning process, such as the influence of social interaction between children and visual approaches on children's literacy development.
