Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance and how much influence the principal's leadership had on teacher performance at SD GMIH Bido. This research was conducted at SD GMIH Bido located in North Morotai District, Morotai Island Regency. This research is a quantitative research with its research paradigm describing a causal relationship that is causal so that the independent variable affects the dependent variable or the principal's leadership variable affects teacher performance. The results showed that the t-count significance value was 2.001 which was smaller than the t-table value, which was 2.447, so the principal's leadership variable had no significant effect on teacher performance variables. Then, if you look at the probability value of 0.05, it turns out that the value obtained is 0.092, which is more than the probability, so the principal's leadership variable has no significant effect on the teacher's performance variable. Then, the adjusted R-Square value is 0.06 (6%). This means that the ability of the independent variables in this study affects the dependent variable by 6%, while the rest is explained by variables other than the independent variables in the study.
