Abstract

Nowdays, about 60 villages in Kebumen Regency have website, this practiacally as village information system. The application was made local government, the agency of Kebumen Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo). Villages are provided with facilities by Kominfo, they are domain andserver. Meanwhile, the Village is obliged to manage as the Content Management System (CMS) admin. However, many villages has problems in managing the CMS , such as capability of village’s staff to operate CMS. Thus, many online village websites do not update data continuously and are even not used optimally. Therefore, this community service aims to increase the capacity of village staff in Kebumen Regency to managing online village CMS. This service uses training and mentoring methods. Target of this services are 60 villages but only 41 villages participate in this activities. The results of survey showed this community service increase knowledge and skills participant for managing their website. The impact on knowledge and skills reaches more than 3 and the value of a good response is 3.38 on a scale of 1-4. The continuity of content updates is also an indication that this training has an impact on improving the management of online village websites.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a classification model using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) to determine the ripeness and quality of Cavendish bananas. The model classifies bananas into four categories: good quality unripe (MHBS), poor quality unripe (MHBK), good quality ripe (MGBS), and poor quality ripe (MGBK), using a total of 1,000 images. In this study, the classification process of the ripeness and quality of Cavendish bananas was carried out based on automatic feature extraction using CNN,after which an evaluation was carried out using a confusion matrix to assess model performance. The research developed 36 models with variations in parameters such as the number of epochs, batch size, and dataset split. The analysis results indicate that the number of epochs significantly affects the model's accuracy, with an increase in the number of epochs leading to higher accuracy. However, the dataset split scenario and batch size do not have a significant impact on the model's overall accuracy. Evaluation shows that the highest accuracy of 95% was achieved by the model with a 90:10 dataset split, a batch size of 16, and 20 epochs.

Abstract

Banana fruit is a commodity that makes a major contribution to national and international fruit production figures. The government through the National Standardization Agency establishes standards for bananas, maintaining the quality of bananas. The purpose of this study was to classify the level of maturity, quality and type of banana based on color, size and shape characteristics in the Cavendish Banana Garden, Banyumas Regency, Central Java in accordance with SNI 7422: 2009. The bananas found in the Cavendish Banana Garden have various qualities, as a local fruit that has high economic value and has a market potential that is still wide open, bananas are one of the most reliable fruit commodities. The problem that is often found is the lack of accuracy and lack of knowledge of employees in distinguishing the types, quality and ripeness of bananas, especially new employees. Jaringa Saraf Tiruan (Neural Network) are used as a method in the classification process. The dataset in this study is a picture of bananas with 9 types, namely Ambon banana, plantain, Cavendish banana, Kirana banana, Barangan banana, jackfruit banana, gold banana and kapok banana. The ripeness of bananas in this study were the raw, ripe and overripe levels. The program is created using Tensorflow Python, the test results produce an accuracy level of 98,7 %

Abstract

Abstract The main product of the bamboo-craftsmen group in Grujugan Village, Kebumen Regency, Central Java, is a bamboo cap (tudung). Because the tudung product has taken root in the community, Grujugan Village has branded itself as a Tudung Village. The problem of bamboo craftsmen in Grujugan Village is the lack of ability to innovate and diversify product. Therefore, this community service aims to train and mentoring craftsmen in product diversification. The method used is training and mentoring. During the training, the instructor teaches how to create new crafts, that are plates made from coconut sticks. Mentoring was held on July-August. Based on observations before the service was carried out, as many as 95% of the participants had not mastered making woven stick plates. After training and mentoring, 75% of participants were able to make stick plates, of which 50% were able to make stick plates neatly, while the other 25% of the participants were only at the stage of being able to understand the technique of weaving sticks into plates. In conclusion, this community service can enhance the abilities and skills of craftsmen, boost their innovation capabilities, and enable them to create new products in Tudung Village. Abstrak Produk utama kelompok perajin bambu di Desa Grujugan Kabupaten Kebumen Jawa Tengah adalah tudung (caping bambu). Karena produk tudung yang sudah mengakar di masyarakat, Desa Grujugan membranding diri sebagai Kampung Tudung dengan ciri khas kerajinan tudung. Meskipun lama menggeluti kriya bambu, namun variasi produk belum banyak. Selain tudung, perajin membuat peralatan rumah tangga seperti besek, kukusan, dan tenggok. Permasalahan perajin bambu di Desa Grujugan adalah kurangnya kemampuan inovasi dan diversifikasi jenis produk. Oleh karenanya, pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan melatih dan mendampingi perajin untuk diversifikasi produk Kampung Tudung berupa piring anyaman kepada kelompok perajin Desa Grujugan. Metode yang digunakan adalah praktik langsung dan pendampingan. Pelatihan secara spesifik mengajarkan bagaimana membuat piring anyaman dari bahan yang lebih sesuai yaitu lidi. Pendampingan diberikan selama bulan Juli- Agustus. Berdasarkan observasi sebelum dilakukan pengabdian, sebanyak 95% peserta belum menguasai teknik pembuatan piring anyaman lidi. Setelah pelatihan dan pendampingan, 75% peserta mampu membuat piring lidi, dimana 50% mampu membuat piring lidi dengan rapi, sedangkan 25% peserta lainnya baru pada tahap mampu memahami teknik menganyam lidi menjadi piring. Kesimpulannya, pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan dapat meningkatan kemampuan dan ketrampilan perajin, meningkatkan kemampuan inovasi perajin, dan mampu menghasilkan produk baru di Kampung Tudung.

Abstract

There are various kinds of products that are included in cosmetic products, namely personal care, make up, fragrance including perfume, hair care, and skincare. Skincare has become one of the primary needs for women in Indonesia today, because skincare can maintain healthy skin. Skincare is a beauty product that is used by users to clean dirt on the face. In deciding to choose skincare products, of course, consumers are influenced by various factors such as skincare quality, brand image, price, and others. In addition, reviews of skincare products are also important as an effort by cosmetic companies to attract consumers' buying interest. One method in deep learning to analyze is the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Sentiment analysis is carried out as an effort to evaluate and determine consumer satisfaction with skincare products as well as materials for service improvement. This study uses the CNN method which in this model has several stages such as data scraping, data preprocessing which consists of data cleansing & case folding, stemming, tokenizing, filtering (stopword removal), labeling process, modeling, and model evaluation. In this study, the data used is scraping data on the Tokopedia website about skincare skintific products. The data will be processed with the CNN model to obtain an accuracy value resulting from the performance of the model.

Abstract

BUMDes Randurejo Salah satu Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDES) mengalami dampak selama pandemi COVID-19, yang tercermin dari penurunan pendapatan sebesar 45%. Keadaan tersebut disebabkan oleh penggunaan metode pemasaran konvensional yang masih diterapkan oleh BUMDES Randurejo sampai saat ini. Ketidakhadiran situs web atau keberadaan di platform media sosial yang terkait dengan unit usaha BUMDES Randurejo telah menjadi penyebab mengapa BUMDES ini tidak mengalami perkembangan dan kurang dikenal oleh masyarakat luas. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan pemberdayaan masyarakat, diharapkan bahwa pengabdian ini dapat mengubah kondisi masyarakat menjadi lebih mandiri, produktif, dan sejahtera. Dari evaluasi awal terhadap permasalahan yang ada, tim pengabdi telah memberikan pendampingan dalam proses pembuatan situs web, pengelolaan media sosial, serta memberikan pelatihan dalam tata kelola media, pemasaran digital, dan penggunaan platform marketplace. Tim pengabdi juga telah menginisiasi kerja sama strategis antara BUMDES Randurejo dengan Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto dalam upaya Pelaksanaan Pengelolaan dan Pendampingan Berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi.   Abstract. BUMDes Randurejo is one of the BUMDes that was affected during the COVID-19 pandemic. The impact can be seen from the decrease in income by 45%.   This happened because so far BUMDES Randurejo still uses conventional methods in marketing. There is no website or social media related to the Randurejo BUMDES business unit, making this BUMDES undeveloped and unknown to many people. Through the community empowerment approach, this service is expected to change the existence of the community to become more independent, productive and prosperous. Based on the results of the initial assessment of the problem, the service team has provided assistance in making websites, social media, mentoring and training in media governance, digital marketing and marketplaces. In addition, the service team also initiated a strategic collaboration between BUMDES Randurejo and the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology in the implementation of Information and Communication Technology-Based Management and Assistance.
