Abstract

Uşūl Al-Takhrij Wa Dirasat Al-Asanid is a book that deals with the history and development of Takhrīj Hadith. Although this book discusses  the Takhrīj hadith method, some scholars argue that these methods still have limitations in examining the validity of a hadith. This paper aims to elaborate on the Book of Uşūl Al-Takhrīj Wa Dirāsat Al-Asānid, to examine the validity, reliability, and authenticity of the hadith, and to ensure that it really comes from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). So we need to know the quality of sanad and matan hadith, so as to judge the authenticity of the hadith through the Takhrīj method. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative method, which is to collect and analyze data to help explain all sanad and matan in a hadith. The results of this study show that through the five Takhrīj Hadith Methods described by Mahmud al-Thahhan, by tracing and searching for hadiths from various original books can be used to determine the quality of sahih hadith, dho'if and maqbul. The application of the takhrij method in hadith research is very important and relevant in the shahihan of Hadith. To confirm that a hadith is really from the Prophet (peace be upon him). So to assess a Hadith, researchers and academics have ways and rules that are followed through the rules described by Mahmud al-Thahhan.

Abstract

Abstract This article discusses Jamaluddin Al-Qasimi's thoughts or manhaj regarding the Science of Al-Jarh Wa Al-ta'dil in writing his book entitled Al-Jarh wa al-Ta'dil. The book by Al-Qasimi is used as a reference to find out the life history and quality of the narrators. Jamaluddin Al-Qasimi also took part in contributing to providing data on hadith narrators. From the book, it can be seen the comments of the hadith scholars who are critical of their opinion about the condition of each narrator, whether the narrator is accepted (maqbul) or rejected (mardud) so that later the status of hadith and the degree of hadith can be determined by the flow of transmission by the narrator. This article was reviewed using the library research method and also through the content analysis method approach. headlines from previous generations of critics. And after Jamaluddin Al-Qasimi compared his book with other critics' books of the same type, finally Jamaluddin Al-Qasimi's idealism in the book was not well connected between the concepts in the book and its reality. The source of the data for this article is in the form of documentation consisting of: The Book of History of Hadith Science, Introduction to Hadith Science, Mustalah al-Hadith Science, the book of al-Jarh wa al-Ta'dil, the collection of hadith 9 (pole al-tis'ah) and the sharh -his. The findings of this study are as follows: a). There are four schools of scholars in determining the quality of hadith, namely, mutasyaddid (strict-strict), muta'annut (excessive), mutawassit (moderate) and mutasahhil (soft-permissive). b). The implication of different schools of thought in determining the quality of hadith for the life of Muslims for the mutasyaddid (strict) school is that a hadith that does not meet the validity criteria cannot be used as proof of syar'iyyah. Likewise the mutawassit (moderate) schools of thought, unless there is another stronger argument (Qur'an-hadith) as its support. The muta'annut and mutasahhil schools of thought tend to use low-quality hadiths, especially for the virtues of charity and morality. Keywords: Jarh, Manhaj, Ta'dil, Hadith, Rawi.

Abstract

Afghanistan is one of the countries with relatively high cases of discrimination against women. This is due to the implementation of the Islamic shari'a system of government imposed by the Taliban based on their own understanding. As well as textual interpretation of some of the postulates of Islamic teachings. So that the existence of the role of women is increasingly cornered. One of the Taliban's policies, which is considered to violate human rights, is the prohibition of higher education for women in Afghanistan. This problem raises the negative stigma of "outsiders" towards Islam, they will consider Islam as a religion that mistreats women. In fact, the Islamic sharia law implemented by the Taliban is different from the essential teachings of Islam. The reason is that there are so many verses of the Qur'an or Hadiths that explain gender equality, one of which is the Hadith narrated by al-Bukhari> index number 7310 which explains the attitude of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, related to education for women. In this context, this research using the Library research method aims to provide a review of the case of the prohibition of education for women that occurred in Afghanistan and its relationship with the Hadith narrated by Imam al-Bukhari> number 7310. The hadith is one of the arguments that women also have rights in education. To achieve the purpose of this study, it is necessary to analyze Hadith Imam al-Bukhari> no. 7310 in order to describe and interpret a case of prohibition of higher education for women. This research concludes that the prohibition of education that has occurred in Afghanistan is a form of patriarchal culture that is considered as an act that has been legitimized by Islamic religious propositions, as well as an understanding that is only limited to the textual propositions of Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Shiites tend to prioritize Ahl al-Bayt's position in transmitting Hadith. It affects the determination of Hadith as a primary source in Islamic Sharia. The Zaydi Maddhab, the Shi'a branch, is very dominant in Yemen. However, al-Shawkani, educated by his father and his Zaydist teachers, has a different view from Zaydism in positioning Ahl al-Bayt. Al-Shawkani saw that the uncertain political conditions in Yemen and the rise of blind taqlid directed Muslims to go astray and heresy at that time. This study examines al-Shawkani's stance on Ahl al-Bayt's position in determining the basis of Sharia law through his relevant works. Therefore, this socio-historical investigation also reveals the contribution of al-Shawkani thought in Islamic studies. This research shows that although al-Shawkani was influenced by Zaydism, objectively, he did not prioritize Ahl al-Bayt and was not passionate about one particular madhhab—a stance often opposed by Yemen's Zaydist scholars. In his works, al-Shawkani indirectly agrees with the opinion of Sunni scholars in determining the narrators of the Hadith as the primary source for deciding Islamic Sharia law. Thus, the contribution of al-Shawkani, who positions Hadith narrators objectively and scientifically, both Ahl al-Bayt and non-Ahl al-Bayt, is set the same as the criteria most scholars of Hadith experts determined.

Abstract

This research discusses the codification of Prophetic hadith from the perspective of Imam Khatib Al-Baghdadi in the context of Islamic Religious Education. The urgency of this article is to emphasize the importance of the codification of the Prophet's hadith in the context of Islamic religious education. The method in this writing uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods through literature study. The Prophet's hadith as the second source of law after the Koran plays an important role in the process of legal istinbath in Islam. Codification of the Prophet's hadith is the process of collecting, compiling, and organizing the Prophet's hadith so that they can be used as a valid and trustworthy source of law. Imam Khatib Al-Baghdadi succeeded in explaining discussions in the science of hadith systematically and in language that is dense in meaning so that it is easy to understand. Imam Khatib Al-Baghdadi also discussed and refuted the thoughts of Orientalists with arguments that he built naqli and aqli. In the context of Islamic religious education, the codification of the Prophet's hadith also has a very important role for Islamic students and teachers to study and understand the codification of the Prophet's hadith to distinguish between authentic and false hadith.

The zawaid hadith contained in Sunan Ibn Majah has a lot of debate among hadith scholars, many differences of opinion are found in the legal status and number of zawaid hadith contained in Sunan Ibn Majah. In the book Misbah az-Zujajah fii Zawaid, al-Busiri tries to provide an assessment of zawaid traditions and the number of zawaid traditions found by al-Busiri. However, the calculation has some differences in calculation among hadith scholars, therefore this needs to be known and studied. This research uses qualitative research methods that are descriptive interpretative, this research is a type of library research by collecting data through various literatures which are then described objectively. The main reference source of this research is the book Misbah az-Zujajah fii Zawaid Ibn Majah, while supporting sources are reference books, books, journal articles and other literature related to this research. From the findings it is stated that according to al-Busirithe zawaid traditions amount to 1552 Hadith and not all these Hadith are da'if, some are sahih, hasan, or dhaif.
