Abstract

The Maluku Province Library and Archives Service found that the physical quality of the space did not meet the requirements, such as no ventilation, air conditioning and only a few windows that were open. This causes a lack of air coming in from outside so that employees feel hot and stuffy in the room. The aim of this research is to determine the physical and bacteriological quality of indoor air on health problems in the Maluku Province Library and Archives Service. The method used in this research is descriptive to determine the physical and bacteriological quality of indoor air on health problems at the Maluku Province Library and Archives Service. The population in this research is the entire library and archives space of Maluku Province. The samples in this research were 2 sample points, namely the reading room and the staff room of the Maluku Province Library and Archives Service. The research results show that lighting, temperature and germ numbers meet the requirements, while humidity does not meet the requirements. In accordance with Minister of Health Regulation No. 2 of 2023 concerning Environmental Health. The conclusion is that lighting, temperature and germ numbers meet the requirements, while humidity does not meet the requirements

Abstract

Personal hygiene can affect food contamination can be for several factors including the cleanliness of eating utensils because the human body can also be a source of pollution including eating utensils if they do not maintain cleanliness. Contamination does not only occur in food and water sources, but food equipment that does not meet health requirements is also a cause. In Indonesia, regulations have been made in the form of Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 1096 / Menkes / SK / VI / 2011 that for the requirements for hygiene and sanitation of catering services. Based on the description above, the problem in the study can be formulated, namely how is personal hygiene in fast food in Latta Village, Teluk Ambon Baguala District. To find out Personal hygiene in fast food in Latta Village, Teluk Ambon Baguala District. This type of research is descriptive research by interviewing and observing. The population in this study was 22 fast food traders. The sample used was 5 (five) fast food traders in Latta Village. The results of the study have been carried out that the examination of five traders I, traders II, traders III, traders IV, and traders V with the criteria did not meet the requirements according to Permenkes No. 1096/Menkes/Per/VI/2011 namely 0 CFU The results obtained were five food handlers for personal hygiene did not meet the requirements in Latta Village, Teluk Ambon Baguala District. The five samples met the requirements and five food handlers in Latta Village, Teluk Ambon Baguala District had Personal Hygiene that did not meet the requirements. Abstract

Drinking water is a basic need for humans whose function is to maintain fluid balance in the body and help the metabolic process and every day humans need 1.5-2 liters of water to meet their needs (WHO 2019). To find out whether there are E.Coli bacteria in refill drinking water depots (DAMIU) in Tulehu Village, Salahutu District, Central Maluku Regency. This research is a descriptive survey. The data collection method is carried out by interviewing using questionnaires and taking samples before and after the processing process. based on the results of the study, 3 refill drinking water depots in Tulehu Village have met the requirements. The conclusion of this study is that 2 refill drinking water depots have met health requirements in accordance with the guidelines for inspecting drinking water depots based on the health regulations of the Republic of Indonesia no. 43 of 2014 concerning hygiene and sanitation of refill drinking water depots.

Abstract

Swimming pool water is water used for sports and its quality meets health requirements. To find out the number of Escherichia coli bacteria identified in the adult public swimming pool water at the Ambon State Polytechnic. This type of research is descriptive research located at the Ambon State Polytechnic. The population in this study is swimming pool water and the samples taken were 2 samples from an adult swimming pool and 2 samples from a children's swimming pool. The research results showed that the results of examination of 3 swimming pool water samples did not contain Escherichia coli bacteria and 1 swimming pool water sample contained Escherichia coli bacteria, and for Coliform bacteria there were 2 positive samples and 2 negative samples containing Coliform bacteria. Based on the results of research conducted at the Ambon Class II BTKL PP Biology Laboratory, it can be concluded that of the 4 swimming pool water samples taken from public swimming pool water at the Ambon State Polytechnic, there were 3 negative samples and 1 positive sample containing Escherichia coli bacteria, and for bacteria There were 2 positive samples for coliform and 2 negative samples containing coliform bacteria

Abstract

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 2016, there were 3.8 million people died due to poor indoor air quality. The highest number of deaths occurred in the Southeast Asia region at 1.5 million deaths while the Western Pacific region was 1.2 million, Africa 739,000, the Eastern Mediterranean 212,000, America 82,000, and Europe 52,000 deaths. Passo Health Center is directly adjacent to residential areas which results in exposure to air pollution from the surrounding environment entering the health center, causing flying bacteria or germs to enter the health center so that they can multiply in the air. This type of research is descriptive which describes the study of microbiological quality in the waiting room at the Passo Health Center. Measurement of the number of germs in the waiting room did not meet the requirements and temperature measurements, lighting in the waiting room met the requirements and humidity measurements in the waiting room did not meet the requirements based on the standards of Permemkes No. 2 of 2023 concerning Environmental Health. The number of germs and humidity in the Passo Health Center waiting room does not meet the requirements, The temperature and lighting in the Passo Health Center waiting room meet the requirements, The humidity in the Passo Health Center waiting room does not meet the requirements, The Health Center can use this research as a reference in controlling air quality both from microorganism factors and physical environmental factors.
