Abstract

Sustainable supply chains are becoming increasingly important in this era of globalization, where companies are required to not only achieve economic profits, but also pay attention to the social and environmental impacts of their operational activities. This research aims to analyze and identify sustainable supply chain management strategies to achieve operational efficiency, product innovation and environmental responsibility. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that the implementation of sustainable supply chain management strategies has a positive impact on company performance in efficiency, innovation and environmental responsibility. Identifying critical points in the supply chain, selecting suppliers committed to sustainable practices, and leveraging technology in production processes drives positive change. Transportation optimization, sustainability performance monitoring systems, and active engagement with stakeholders have also been proven to make a real contribution in establishing a more responsive and responsible supply chain. Through these steps, companies can achieve operational success while minimizing negative impacts on the environment, as social responsibilities are increasingly strengthened and recognized.

Abstract

The speed of technological development and dynamic market changes have encouraged companies to continue to innovate to maintain their competitiveness. This research aims to examine the role of operational innovation to achieve a company's competitive advantage in the operational management concept. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that the implementation of operational innovation by focusing on the introduction of new ideas, integration of solutions with existing processes, and gradual change management has a positive impact on organizational performance. Involving team members in identifying obstacles and finding solutions as well as tracking progress by setting performance benchmarks and KPIs has proven to be effective. By adopting this strategy, organizations can improve operational efficiency, respond quickly to market changes, and create a strong foundation for sustainable growth, making a positive contribution to competitiveness and long-term sustainability.

Abstract

Lean Manufacturing is known as an approach that focuses on eliminating waste and increasing the efficiency of the production process. This research aims to explore and analyze the implementation of Lean Manufacturing as the main basis for achieving effective operational management. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of Lean Manufacturing as the main foundation for effective operational management has a significant positive impact on company performance. Through planned and sustainable steps, the company succeeded in reducing waste in the production process, increasing operational efficiency, and creating a more structured and productive work environment. Continuous monitoring and evaluation proves that the continuous improvements adopted, such as the implementation of 5S, Kaizen, and the Just In Time concept, consistently result in increased production cycle time efficiency and improved product quality. In addition, active employee participation in continuous improvement initiatives has been proven to make a positive contribution to a company culture that is responsive to change. By integrating the PDCA cycle, the company succeeded in maintaining the continuity of the Main Foundation of Effective Operational Management based on Lean Manufacturing, creating a solid foundation for operational growth and continuity in a dynamic business environment.
