Abstract

The determination of capital structure policy becomes important in the hotels, restaurants and tourism industry in Indonesia. This industry environment has a fairly high business fluctuations because the product that being offered is a product that requires a large capital. The firms in this industry which in have capital intensive, but also have a quite high business risks. On the other hand, firms also need to take care of the capital structure that will be used. It is the goal of this studies so that it can be the information for the firm to determine the optimal capital structure. The results of this study are simultaneously factors managerial ownership structure, asset structure, liquidity, business risk, dividend policy, the size and profitability of the firm has no significant effect on the capital structure of the firm, while only partially profitability factor that showed a significant negative effect on capital structure. This means there is a tendency of firms in this industry in Indonesia to use funding from internal sources to finance its business expansion.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of tangibility, growth, profitability, and liquidity either partially or simultaneously on the capital structure with firm size as a moderating variable in automotive & component companies. The number of populations are all of automotive & component companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014-2020. Multiple regression analysis and moderated regression analysis (MRA) used as analysis techniques and Purposive sampling used as sampling method. The result of this study shows that partially growth has significant positive effect on capital structure, while tangibility, profitability, and liquidity has a significant negative effect on capital structure. However, firm size is not able to moderate the effect of tangibility, growth, profitability and liquidity on capital structure. . The implication of this research to regard tangibility, profitability, liquidity and growth, because it’s can affect capital structure.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the financial behavior of female MSME entrepreneurs, with income as a moderating variable. The data were collected by using a survey as the instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The respondents for this study were female MSME entrepreneurs residing in Solo and Yogyakarta, totaling 400 respondents, with 200 from each region. The distribution of the questionnaire was carried out offline and online via google form. The results indicate that financial knowledge and income do not influence financial behavior, while financial technology and lifestyle negatively affect financial behavior. Internal locus of control and spiritual intelligence positively impact financial behavior, with income which is not able to moderate the relationship between financial knowledge and financial behavior. These results have implications for the financial behavior of women who work as MSME entrepreneurs to improve their financial knowledge so that they become better and wiser in their financial behavior.
