Abstract

Penggunaan internet dengan smartphone melalui hasil survei mengungkapkan bahwa rata-rata pengakses internet Indonesia berasal dari smartphone atau sekitar 67,2 juta atau 50,7 persen. Penggunaan internet tidak hanya digunakan oleh kalangan dewasa atau mahasiswa tetapi siswa sekolah (SMP,SMA) sudah banyak yang menggunakan internet. Penggunaan akses internet lebih banyak digunakan untuk media sosial (facebook, instagram dll), tetapi bagi siswa SMA akses internet belum digunakan secara baik dalam berkomentar atau menulis pada media sosial tidak menunjukkan etika komunikasi yang baik. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini siswa SMA memiliki keterampilan penguasaan penggunakaan bahasa dan perilaku dalam menggunakan media sosial. Pada target pengabdian ini yang dilakukan di sekolah SMA Dharma Wanita Surabaya yakni terciptanya lingkungan sekolah yang beretika siswa degan mengetahui etika dari penggunaan media sosial khususnya etika dalam membuat status, komen dan membagikan video. Target lainnya siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas Dharma Wanita Surabaya diharapkan memiliki keterampilan dalam berbahasa dan berperilaku menggunakan media sosial. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dengan cara mentransfer ilmu tentang etika berkomunikasi di media sosial dengan cara memberikan pelatihan, transfer ilmu yang  dilakukan yakni etika menggunakan short message servive (SMS), etika menggunakan email, etika menggunakan media sosial resmi seperti facebook, instagram, twitter dan lain-lain dan etika bertelepon. Berdasarkan hasil tanya jawab pembicara dengan siswa SMA Dharma Wanita Surabaya kemampuan siswa dalam beretika sudah mulai dilakukan, hal ini ditunjukkan dari postingan video siswa melalui instagram  dan tanggapan atau komentar siswa ketika diberi kasus yang berkaitan dengan tindak pidana ITE. Based on a a survey conducted on internet use with smartphones, the average internet user in Indonesia comes from smartphones, which is around 67.2 million or 50.7 percent. Internet users are not only adults, but also students from middle and high schools have also widely used the internet. The internetis widely used to access social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and etc. However, internet users particularly high school students do not use their internet access properly. For instance, they put a comment or write something in social media which does not indicate good communication ethics. This community service aims to aid high school students in order to achievea more comprehensive understanding of language usage and to control their behavior through social media. The target of this community service conducted in Dharma Wanita High School Surabaya is to create an ethical school environment. In this case, students are expected to have good ethics in using social media especially while writing a status, commenting, and video sharing. Moreover, students of Dharma Wanita High School Surabaya are assumed to possess good language skills and behavioral control when using social media. The implementation of this community service is done by transferring knowledge about communication ethics in social media such as providing training. Transfer of knowledge includes ethics of using short message service (SMS), email, chat, and ethics of using official social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and others and telephone ethics as well. According to the question and answer session with the students of Dharma Wanita High School Surabaya, the community service seems to have been implemented. This is shown from their videos postings and responses on Instagram or their comments when they were given cases relating to ITE criminal acts.

Abstract

Impulse buying for buying things behavior known as unplanned purchase behavior often that spread to everyone.There is no exception among Muslim women, often stuck to make purchases that are not planned on products woman fashion online. This is because of the ease of online shopping procedure in making a woman could has the deal of buying the things, without having to get out of the door of his home. By using qualitative methods, then this researchl concerned to discuss how the behavior of impulse buying is done by the Muslim Indonesia through online purchase. This research useed the analysis of case studies, with the observation, interviewing and documenting data from fifty informants from several cities in Indonesia. This research resulted  several things related to how the woman of fashion moving behavior of impulsive purchases, backgrounds and types of Muslim women who make purchases are impulsive, and lastly the shifting trend Muslim perpetrators impulse buying, being a Muslimah dropshipping way of the online sellers or other ways

Abstract

Background – Zonasi, a new ‘zoning-based school’ system implemented by the Indonesian government in June 2019 has created a significatnt impact on student enrollment in all public schools across the country. Before June 2019, student enrollment in public schools were based on its schools selection process, mainly academic achievement, whilst for past 2 years (2019 and 2020) students enrollment has been based on “zonasi”, a geographical distance between student’s home and the chosen school. The closer the distance, the bigger chance to get acceptance. As as result, public schools nowadays has more diverse students than before. Purpose - This research aimed to explore leadership practices of secondary public school principal in transforming a regular public school into inclusive public school through the act of leadership practices. The school was acknowledged by local government and communities as one of the successful inclusive public high school in Surabaya.Design/methodology/approach - This research used a qualitative approach within a case study design. The data collection techniques used in this research were interviews, observations, and school documents. Data were collected from the principal, 2 counseling teachers, 2 special education teachers, and head of educational in the district.Findings - The result revealed four principal leadership behaviour to transform regular public school into inclusive public school i.e. (1) changing mindset the teachers and non-academic staffs, (2) promoting inclusive practices within the school through various programs, (3) promoting inclusive practive in teaching-learning process, (4) building connection with parents & local communities, and seeking government support on the innitiatives.Research limitations – This study only investigated one public school, with the involvement of a school principal and 4 teachers. It would be better if the scope of the research could be broader, for example covering elementary and high schools, and involving more participants, such as the vice principal of the curriculum field, students and parents.Originality/value – This study contributes to leadership research in the context of secondary school education, which has undergone a transformation from the previously students tend to be homogeneous because they are based on standardized academic qualification, nowadays students at schools have more diverse social backgrounds as a result of the implementation of the zoning system in Indonesia. The findings of this paper can be used as a tool. a guide for policy makers and educational planners regarding zoning system in Indonesia. Such practices can also be learned, adapted and imitated by other schools.
